What are the key parts to mask off when doing it by brush? I have a 4 pot front and 2 pot rear for my WRX. So far it looks like the boots on either side, the brake bleeder screw, the rotor and the pad. Is that correct?
What about washing the tires and stuff. The paint hold up well with that. Like with a pressure washer?
No issues at all! The paint should cure really well on there and become a protective layer

Can you get this done professionally from a mechanic or paint shop? And how much you think they’d charge ?
Possibly, you’d most likely be better off having them powder coated I think. Not sure on the price!
Contacted a local shop earlier today. Professionally done would cost around $500
Hey, been following you for a while and really enjoy the videos! Been watching for a few months since I got my Grand Cherokee (‘19 Upland) and I decided to paint my calipers too. I used the same paint but blue, and I think I messed up. I didn’t tape off the 2 semicircle areas on the front calipers underneath the silver clip thing. I see that you taped them off and didn’t paint the clip. I painted that part and I also painted the clip on top of them. I’m not much of a mechanic clearly so do you have any advice if this will cause problems with my brakes or how to fix it?
The part in the semicircle areas there are the back sides of your brake pads I would say from looking at it. Not sure if any of it will really effect anything, if it does you'll probably just have to end up replacing the pads

For black wheels I think yellow pops a lot than red

I'd recommend getting a set of stands to do it! Otherwise you're risking it falling
How long did you let them dry before driving ?
I can't remember exactly but i'd give them at least a few hours to dry good, but ideally as long as you can wait / overnight!

How about the spray paint for caliper
I’d only recommend the spray if you’re taking them off, otherwise it’s easier to just paint them in my opinion
Why didn’t you paint the clip too ?
After going through the whole process would you maybe think about just buying custom colored covers for them next time? If price wasn't a factor?
I don’t think so! I think the covers look a little tacky to me, but it’s all personal preference really 👍🏻
