What a cracking van. Love some of the features on this. Heavy at 4 and a half tonne but this is the full Kontiki spec so it’s expected. Rear lounge could always be left as a bedroom and occasional use as a lounge. Very spacious but just that little pinch point in the middle with the washroom door. I think I could live with that 😉😃👍🏻 Trev
Merry Christmas to you all, thank you for all the brilliant videos. Very impressive motorhome, particularly the automatic transmission and the power. Get it bought!
Just watched the video even though I did comment earlier. The wash room is a bit on the tight side but as ever with all types of motorhomes or caravans there is always a compromise. Having used ours 3 times it’s actually ok for just the two of us but would be interesting with others travelling with us. I do love the rear lounge we have a 32 inch tv sat on the rear shelf. It’s lovely and cosy and great having the drop down bed where I leave Mrs S in bed while a watch tv in the lounge plus the heater is at the back and it warms much faster than the front.
Hi Bob and Jenny, this is very nice. Are thinking of changing your motorhome soon or just having a look? I love looking round different models. Changing my camper van for a small motor home is definitely the best decision I’ve made. Thanks for all the great information and videos. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy healthy 2024.
Hi Bob and Jenny a great motorhome for the price have always liked the kon tiki since the days of the talbot express! They have had a good reputation for quality and design and I like the idea of the two lounges in that one so you can keep one as bedroom or to have different options within the van there looked a lot of space for two and loads of storage Great review as ever Bob and Jenny merry Christmas to you both and here’s to 2024 and following your adventures Daniel
Hi Bob and Jenny, what a lovely motorhome and it ought to be for the price ha ha , great that it is automatic, liked that it had a rear lounge, nice washroom and the kitchen area was nicely set out. The front sofas were very roomy. OOh that drop down bed!. Thank you for showing us around really enjoyed the tour, take care and a Merry Christmas to you all x Julie and Tony x
I always wonder why for the sake of a tiny bit of trim or routing, they choose to leave dangling wires screaming "look at me" (like those in the cupboard at the back or in that bathroom cubby hole). I realise they are trying to keep costs down but with the price of motorhomes these days, it would be so much better to have a person who could assess the designs and develop simple solutions to improve the look and feel of characteristics like those. Maybe I am obsessively unfair with simple details like that but I see them as signals that open the question as to whether or not they are paying attention to quality in general. A question that perhaps otherwise needn't arise.
Totally agree with you I’ve got an Escape 674 and it’s the same open any cupboard and I see wiring. I know it’s not always seen but I do prefer not to see any wiring.
Nahh its not for us. The finish inside the shower is poor with that lip all around, the tight toilet door, and having no induction. Thank you for videoing this but no I don't like it at all. Somehow the quality seems low.

Good point about the lounge
We have the Escape 674 and love the layout.
There was an Escape 674 in Todd's, same layout.

This one's too long for the drive. 😁👍

There is plenty of room for two in there. 👍
I love it with motorcavan and it is very useful gor weekend break and holiday!!
Love the new Kontiki, shame about the weight though as would need to get my C1. But then again I do love my Tia!
Gosh very nice Bob and Jenny.
A few luxuries and a few snags that you pointed out too.
Overall a lovely Motorhome. But seems expensive at that price!
I love it. Really classy. Happy Christmas to you both and thank you for all the videos.🎄🥂🎄🥂

Thank you. We're looking to change early next year.

Nice Bob but wow what a price! Are you contemplating a new motorhome for Christmas?
Sometime early next year...
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Have a terrific merry Christmas and a happy New year!
Will do, thank you. All the best to you too!

Bob and Jenny have a great Christmas 🎄
Thank you, have a great Christmas yourself.

I hate the drop down bed. I get they are great for space saving but wish they would make a decent 4 berth with good beds not drop down in 3500kg.
Yes we have had two motorhomes with drop down beds, lesson learnt...

I did find that door tight, but not sure what you about the shower.
£106000 that nearly as bad as the Coachman Motorhome. Anyone paying the and the tax man will be looking at your income.
Don't worry the tax man is fully aware of my income.
I love it with motorcavan and it is very useful gor weekend break and holiday!!
