I think the issue is not the place of manufacturing, in some cases, but the reformulations that took place around the same time that they switched to the magnetic caps (with no "Amouage" around the collar). Reflection Man, Lyric Man, etc. were victims to this reformulation in the late 2010s, early 2020s.
@@razvanyke I think the difference is that Black Iris was made anew in the late 2010s and has not undergone any reformulations. The issue is that other fragrances that were already around for many years and then reformulated to comply with the IFRA regulations that were introduced in the last 2010s. Unfortunately, at the time of the reformulations there were no replacement ingredients that could be used to make the fragrance smell the same and also perform as well as before. In other words, Black Iris was created from scratch using ingredients that are still acceptable under IFRA and those IFRA-compliant ingredients were used wisely to ensure that it performs well in the 2020s.

Many things been said regarding Jubilation 40 vs 25 on the net, but I think it needs honest reviewer, honest straightward opinion and and ability to appreciate the Bertrand Duchaufour's work on Jubilation. You did impressed me when you said - if you like Jubilation, just go with the Jubilation not to give an example Fragrance du Bois - New York Intense. It's similar but for sure, not identical. I have this one too. I think I bought it 2019 or w020. For me it smells like the bar of my grandmother. Cherry old wood furniture 10%, spirit drinks not tigtly closed 30%, old tabaco 40%, 10% oud and some other thing. For me 4 /10

In locul tau, m-as linisti cu Jubilation pentru ca e un parfum excelent dar nu tine deloc si dispare in cateva minute. Pentru un Amouage .. nu are deloc performanta.
Mutumesc mult pentru raspuns . Am avut cu multi ani in urma un esantion din prima variata apărută, si am regasito de curand , am achizitionat din Romania o sticla Tester (180 €)care trebuie sa ajungă zile urmatoare acuma am să vad ce noroc am 😂

I had a made in UK Reflection Man around 5 years ago and it was really bad. The performance was so poor. My recently produced Reflection Man has excellent performance and smells just like the old friction lock caps versions I had back in 2010.
I must disagree. the Amouage UK was a production facility and distributor, too. Of course, the scents should have been the same, but many rumours circled the forums.
Hello my friend, Atman Xaman EDP is stronger and smells more like tobacco + no oud. Great question, for convenience makes more sense to buy the Atman than the new Jubi batches.
