When you can sum everything up in a 'formula', specially for grammar, it makes sense so you can learn it and memorize it faster. Thank you Luzi, you have a very effective teaching style :)
These short videos explained everything for me. Now, I can finally say, that I understood the German sentence structure for the first time. Thanks a lot for the explanation.
Your secret and makes you the best is, trying to teach people German as a foreign language which currently German teaching disciplines do not do. Thanks for your videos, finally pragmatic, easy to understand and a not old fashioned teacher, thank you so much.

Luzi, you are my savior. You teach intelligently and I always enjoy your lessons and you are also so humourous in other videos and that makes the lessons so interesting and fun to learn. Thank you so much ❤️. 🙏 🙏 🙏

@@yourgermanteacher btw is it possible for you to make a video about verb tenses but focusing only with sein/haben and modal verb. Like when you want to say would have had, will have had, would have been, could have been, should have been, might have been, must have been able to, should have done, would have done, could have done. I think more on plusquamperfekt konjunktiv or perfekt konditional. I'm really getting more and more confuse understanding such complex tenses but i would be glad to be enlightened. Please please
@@yourgermanteacher i know you mentioned that the only important in german sentences are präsens / perfekt and präteritum but i really wanted to dig deeper on using futur I futur II, präteritum konjunktiv, plusquamperfekt konjuntiv II, präsens konditional and perfekt konditional. I feel like you are the only one who could best explain and decifer everything about it. So pls help me out
@4:00 Du schickst meine Email einem Kunden. We were taught that in sentences with wechsel verb (such as schicken), if there are two objects in the sentence, then the sequence would always be first Dative object and then Accusativ object. So according to this, the correct sentence structure would be : Du schickst einem Kunden meine Email. Which one is right?
@@yourgermanteacher Thank you for replying. Maybe my rule doesn't apply if the Dativ Objekt has an indefinite article, because then it's newer information, as you said. What do you think?
Great explanation - but what when there are several adverbs of the same category? In English time adverbs follow the order: 1. how long 2. how often 3. when He taught devotedly at school for 10 days every month last year in order to pay the bills. Manner-Place-Time-Purpose in English and adverbs of time follow the rule that I have given above. What is the rule for german sentences?
Hi Luzi, why did you say "we can't put objects in front of subjects" at 2: 19, while at 11:50 the object can be placed in front of the subject? Thanks!
The summary with the 10 slots are sooooooo helpful! This is the first time I have seen it so clearly explained -- and believe me, I have tried many times. Something was always missing. Eg. how do objects come in the TeKaMoLo structure. So appreciate it! ♥
Vielen Dank für dieses Video, da andere Lehrer zu viel Informationen in einem Video erklären, und ich habe immer gedenkt, dass das Dativobjekt vor dem akkusativobjekt immer kommt, aber nicht mehr. 😎👍
Great explanations! I found your videos extremely useful. I watched three videos consecutively after seeing the first video tonight! Dankeschön 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊
Hallo Luzi, I have written 2 sentences and am in doubt which one is correct. 1) Ich schenke meinen Freunden im 2020 zum Geburtstag Autos. 2) Ich schenke im 2020 meinen Freunden zum Geburtstag Autos. Grateful for your advice! Vielen Dank 🙏🏼🙏🏼
at 13:48 why it is Im caffe (in dem cafe) ? bcz accordin to your video :among 5 directional preposition (Nach, Zu, In, Auf,An ) only Zu demands dative case . so it was supposed to be ins cafe (in das cafe) thank you for your nice effort & explaaination
The preposition “in”, “auf” und an are so called “Wechselpräpositionen” (2-way prepositions). Meaning they require either akkusativ or dativ, depending on the situation and verb. You will find it explained in this video here: ruclips.net/video/auWRmuw_AcY/видео.html
I really appreciate the content that was showed here, it did help me a lot! However I might ask some questions, is it possible to use the TeKaMoLo in a Nebensatz? Or are there any exceptions?
Good question 👍 Yes the same rules apply. The only thing you have to consider is that the conjugated verb stands on the last position. Mein Kühlschrank ist leer, weil ich gestern (Te) wegen meiner Arbeit (ka) mit dem Zug (mo) zu spät nach Hause (lo) gekommen bin. Hope this answers your question 😊

Both. Depends what u want to emphasize on. Last position the most important information. But in a “normal” neutral sentence your rule is correct. 👍
