Like when you want to say would have had, will have had, would have been, could have been, should have been, might have been, must have been able to, should have done, would have done, could have done. I think more on plusquamperfekt konjunktiv or perfekt konditional. I'm really getting more and more confuse understanding such complex tenses but i would be glad to be enlightened. Please please

Great explanation - but what when there are several adverbs of the same category? In English time adverbs follow the order: 1. how long 2. how often 3. when He taught devotedly at school for 10 days every month last year in order to pay the bills. Manner-Place-Time-Purpose in English and adverbs of time follow the rule that I have given above. What is the rule for german sentences?

Hallo Luzi! I had a strange lesson on duolingo yesterday and i was thinking it was probably an error on their part; they had me translate the sentence "I am meeting my brother in the park on friday". My response was "Am Freitag, treffe ich meinen Bruder im Park" and duo said i was wrong and that the correct response was "Ich treffe meinen Bruder im park am Freitag". There were several questions like this in the lesson. My question to you is was i wrong? Maybe duo was trying to emphesize "on friday" but im thinking both answers could be right unless theres something im missing. Thank you as always for your help, ive watched all your sentance structure videos trying to find this out haha
hi ryan, duo is definitely good for vocabulary but specially sentence structure and some grammar parts are not 100% correct. your sentence is completely right and way better than the duo version, which is nor wrong but as you mentioned emphasize on friday. for me it just looks like that they want you to translate the same order as they write the english... friday at the end... 😉
