here I install a 2 post Amgo 10k automobile lift at my shop . and show you how to wire and bolt in. it is a Amgo lift I bought direct from them. www.amgolifts....
I know this thread a little older … just wondering if you still liking this lift .. I’m fixing to get the AMGO 10000 base plate model …. Also have you lifted something like a heavy diesel truck like an f250 ?… thanks for your time.
Actually I have a 2008 f250 crew cab . No problem. I put in a new transmission. Recommend screw Jack's front and rear . Like all big trucks they are shaky
Can you put a full size truck 1500 or 2500 and lift it up all the way and stand under it without bending down or hitting your head on the truck? Was wondering how much room you had at full lift with a full size truck on this lift? Thanks
Yes I have a f250 powerstroke so it has alot weight . Can stand up and I pulled transmission. But for big crew cab trucks recommend screw Jack's front and rear to keep truck from bounce. That is same with any lift.
Great video! I just ordered a oh-9 yesterday. My question is with the asymmetric arms how did you figure the post positions location front to back? Doesn't the car sit further back in the lift with symmetric arms? My garage is 24' deep. I want to be sure that my f150 isn't sticking out of the door when on the lift. Thanks! Ray
I positions mine as a drive in lift . Means short arms in front for engin weight. I lift my diesel f250 with it. But I would recommend screw Jack's front and rear if you have long extended cab like mine
Thanks for this video. I am about to pull the trigger on a 2 post lift purchase. Now that you have used the lift what are your thoughts on the quality? Would you purchase again? What is the heaviest vehicle you have lifted and how did the lift handle it?
Thanks for sharing. Did you pour concrete footings under the posts or is your slab at least 5" at 3500psi concrete? I've read install instructions on other brands and they all say pour concrete footings with a certain spec of concrete. Most people installing on residential slabs (typically 4" 3500psi) will need to pour footings.
Mine was already poured a few years ago Nd it was 4" 4000 with fiber. In simple words you can stress anything according to others words or you can work with what you have . No way I would consider cutting out a floor just to pour 1 more inch thickers the solid slab will create more strength than a cut up section .
They used to sell direct but they told me it's easier for then to let someone else handle the sale and you just go pick it up. If you call them they will give you a number to sales guy.
Hello again, finally got some help to install from neighbor with machine to lift those heavy parts. He was quite busy.
Great!
Thank you, for sharing!
Great glad ut helped
Thanks man, purchased, picking up in manning as well, same lift will be installing in 2 weeks or so, very helpful, subbed.....
Glad I could help.
I believe the yellow "handles" at 13:29 are what hold the mystery plastic boxes at 13:47. I'm pretty sure they're tool trays.
Thank you
Just installed the same lift. Directions suck,ur video help a lot. My hydrologic lines are short, calling Amigo tomorrow! TKS

So far only 6k lifted but not a problem at all. I would buy again. I think for the money it is a good value.

How Tall are you shop walls
12 foot
What model Amgo 10k is this?
Think it only 10k model they offer with offset arms
There’s 3 models I believe a oh-10, ohx-10 and ohx-10h. I’m looking at the ohx-10h and was hoping your model is the same.
Was wondering if anyone can purchase directly from AMGO
They used to sell direct but they told me it's easier for then to let someone else handle the sale and you just go pick it up. If you call them they will give you a number to sales guy.
I just bought a 12K OH-12 through Best Buy Auto Equipment. They gave me a smokin' deal better that anyone else. Shipped next day!
