You guys should react to *Alita: Battle Angel (2019)* when you get a chance!
Why no post-film analysis?
@@fullmoonprepping4024 It's available on our channel now! We forgot to include it!! Thanks for letting us know!
@@tktopmovies Cool, thanks!
47:30 The Ravager funeral always brings a single tear to my eye...then when Kraglin yells in rejoice, I start letting ALL the tears flow.
James Gunn is such an underrated actor, too. The first role I know him from is Kirk in Gilmore Girls. And yet... he made the transition to this quite easily.
@@tricitymorte1 KIRK FROM GILMORE GIRLS! I knew he looked familiar! Ahhhhhhh!
Sylvester Stallone & Kurt Russell, were both in a 1989 buddy cop movie Tango and Cash.
I love that movie
Ohhh! Never heard of that! We should check it out (: Thanks, Krdragon!
please don't dismiss the fact the the Hoff actually showed up in a Marvel Movie.
Yall surprised by casting that hasn’t changed is hilarious. The credits (beginning and end in both movies) tell you who plays each character lmao
Baby Groot was the absolute Highlight in this one.
Ego "the Living Planet" first appeared in Thor #132 in Spetemeber of 1966, written by Stan Lee and penciled by Jack Kirby. Ego was originally a scientist named Egros. A cosmic being known as the Stranger caused Egros' home star to go supernova as part of an experiment to create living planets. In "death," Egros fused with his home planet and all life on it, and became Ego the Living Planet. Ego has often come into conflict with Thor, The Fantastic Four, the Silver Surfer and the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, he has also been known to aid the cosmic heroes of marvel on multiple occasions.
All fun and games till galactus gets hungry
In the comics Yondu was one of the founding members of th3 Gaurdians of the Galaxy. So was Stallone's character.
So was Michael Rosenbaum as Martinex. Shall we get into Mantis' origin?
Guardians vol 2 facts. Drax survive spaceship crash into a planet atmosphere without being harmed so that shows the strength difference between Ronan and Drax from the first movie during a fight. Baby Groot is the original Groot son. Sylvester Stallone's character's Stakaar and the rest of the ravager leader heads they show in the post-credit scenes were the original guardians of the Galaxy team with yondu. Most of the characters in the MCU are the secondary or alternate version from the comic books like Scott Lang is the second to third version of Ant-Man.
Love those facts, NVP!! Thanks for sharing with us (:
The guy with the crystal face is Michael Rosenbaum. He played #LexLuthor on #Smallville.
The scene where Groot is bringing the stuff to them in prison gets me every time lol. Great reaction as always! Been enjoying following along with y'all's Marvel journey. Keep it up!
The hat thing is hilarious!
LOL! That was a funny scene! Thanks for the kind words, Logan!!! We appreciate it!
I enjoy the Guardians of the Galaxy because it pulls from the newest versions of the Guardians while using the old versions. There also are so many easter eggs hidden in this you have to watch it several times. Example: Ving Rhames as Charlie-27, a finding member of the Guardians, Simon Williams, who maybe the person who became Wonder Man. Group listening to Stan Lee tell his stories were The Watchers, beings who observe what happens in the universe but are forbidden to interfere with the natural progression of a world's growth.
This movie really wrecks me emotionally (in the best way possible) because when it came out, I was still pretty newly a stepdad to a kid who had a pretty miserable biological father. Yondu's arc in this in particular just... gets me every single bloody time, and I absolutely love it. Our relationship has had its ups and downs, but still. So did Yondu and Quill's. You've just kinda... gotta keep going the best you can, even with the ups and downs. And yes... anything involving Yondu in the MCU now just... gets me. But that's the power of these stories, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Great review again. Not sure if anyone mentioned yet, but if not .. the after credit scene with Sylvester Stallone, Ving Rhames, and Michelle Yoeh also contained another famous person. The robot head is voiced by Miley Cyrus. She did it without getting credit for it.
Hey Denny!! Thanks for being here (: Oh Miley, really?! That's awesome!!
I don't know if you have seen any Kurt Russell movies (he played Starlord's dad), but my personal favorites are Tombstone, Big Trouble in Little China, and Escape from New York.
Ooooh! We've never seen those movies before! Thanks for the suggestions! But we definitely LOVE the movie Miracle with Kurt Russell!!
Nice reaction - I think this movie is an important link in the MCU because of how these characters change and develop; this will be important later on, in ways I won't spoil now, but make a note of how far they've come since the start of the first film - also, now we know Stan Lee is a Watcher, so that explains all his cameos lol - Ego is a great villain, but a key turning point here is what I call Saruman Syndrome, where the villain has been looking for something, and finally finds it, in the hands of someone who trusts him and is ready to give it to him, and the screenwriters resolve this by having the villain respond for some reason by suddenly threatening everything this person loves (before he gets what he wants),
so the other person then of course turns against him and witholds it, and fights him with all his heart till the villain is defeated (for other examples, see Saruman and Zod, also very smart villains who should have known better) - if Ego had just kept his mouth shut, Quill could have stayed happy and simply outlived his friends before joining Ego - but this film is still one of my MCU favorites
Love your analysis on that!!!!
I love GotG. But I’m not familiar with the actual comics.
So to the fans out there:
How strong is Gamora?
Does she hold up to Captain America and Spiderman?
Who would win in a fight?
I love her and try to understand her strength.
As you continue be sure not to skip The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special before you see GOTG 3 It gives a lot of set up and back story that you'll question in 3 if you bypass it.
I love your marvel reactions!! They’re so much fun!!
Thank you SO much for the kind words, Kaleb!! You rock! (:
There is a short two seasons series called I am Groot that may be listed in phase 4 but in the timeline they take place in between guardians volume 1 and volume 2 that you should check out that won't spoil anything going forward. They don't tribute to the larger MCU storyline but they're just fun little shorts with baby Groot.
They’re skipping the shows sadly. Even daredevil.
@@salvadormartinez8577 where did they say that ?
What... no after movie discussion? I mean, don't get me wrong, it is enjoyable to see your reactions throughout the films, but I really enjoy the conversations that you have afterwards, discussing the movie, favorite scenes, potential thoughts about future films, etc. The discussions is what sets your reactions from other reactions channels.
Even if you say "I have nothing more to say, than what I've already said throughout the movie", then I guess that's fine, but even that would be good.
Looking forward to the next marvel film.
Ya, I was missing that too
Thank you for letting us know!! We forgot to include our final thoughts! It's now available on our channel in a new video!! (:
It trips me out that you ask “Bradley Cooper as Rocket?! Vin Diesel as Groot?!” That’s been the way since the first movie??? Also, you guys missed that it’s the same exact actor as his mom but asked who she was. Don’t focus on reacting - take time to absorb. Not everything needs to be said/reacted to. Take time to take it all in. The best reactors do so, and it shows. 😊
To be fair Rocket and Groot sound nothing like them and the mother looks completely different. Plus she was in a total of 45 seconds of the first film. Give them a break.
"Don't focus on reacting", on a reaction channel. Don't focus on b*tching about how people run their channels and focus on having some manners.
I think it's hard for them to pick up on all the connections when they are watching the movies once over a short period of time. Many of us had time to re-watch these movies (several times each if you're me) before getting to the final chapter. It took me a few times to get different references. We can't expect them to know everything that we know...ya know? 🙃
@@torontomamehe’s just giving constructive criticism. If reactors are missing crucial information then it’s nice to give them pointers that they couldn’t listen to or not.
RIGHT ON TIME!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
George Lucas made the first big budget movie based on a Marvel character, Howard The Duck in 1986. Unfortunately it was a major flop, but it’s become a cult favorite over the years.
Hahah that would be fun to see one day!!
The guardians will be important in the next Avengers 's movies by the history with Thanos don't forget it
He may have been your father, boy, but he wasn't your daddy. I'm sorry I didn't do none of it right... I'm damn lucky you's my boy.😢
We are groot 😍
LOVE THAT!
Gotg is goofy but that what makes it good
I am Groot. I Am groot. I am Groot?
I am groot.
I am Groot
Thank whomever handled the spoiler.
Which one? You okay?
@@salvadormartinez8577 I saw one that I tried to flag. But it had already been taken care of.
Honestly I liked Drax at first he had funny moments in the first one but was serious, but they just ruined his character after that for me, he just became comic relief and nothing else.
why do you guys blur so much of the movie? you blurred 75% of it. I know another couple who react to movies and they did this movie 1 hour and 20 minutes of this movie without blurring it one time.
Most of the humor didn't really connect with me but I love the emotional side of the story. Gamora and Nebula. Peter and his dads - the fake one and real adopted one. Rocket. All of them together. Just wait. The next one will be the best of the three. Too bad they lost Gun to DC.
Thanks for enjoying with us (: We really loved seeing the softer side of these characters! (Especially Nebula!) Can't wait to see what happens next in the MCU!
2 things
1, "I can see eternity"
Both time and space have physical manifestations in marvel. They are called eternity and infinity.
Peter seeing eternity is a nod to this.
2, Adam at the end, it's Adam warlock. Outside of the mcu Adam was like the beyond er. Infinite in power and potential, not guardians 3 completely ffed him over.
Why is it blurry so much
It’s not. Check your WiFi.
Check your eyes
@@JohncenaTheGoat- OR, you could say some parts are blurry while others aren't. Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you need to be a dick. It's blurry in parts because they can only show a certain amount of the movie because of copyright reasons.
blurred, not blurred!
im out!...sorry.
You all need to stop the annoying habit of having a conversation during the film to discuss what is taking place.
Allow things to happen and then interject at appropriate times.
