Those last lines by Yondu about being Quills real dad.. Imo those lines coukd hit really hard for those with good adoptive parents, or foster parents etc. anyone who has taken another in. :) very awesome line.

@@dotachannel4440 he did, but in the end he saved him. Taught him a lot of things. And arguably gave him the tools he needed to have a good life in the wider universe. It's hard to say how Peter would have been if Yondu wasn't the one to pick up Peter. Probably was best case scenario all things considered, considering who else Ego coukd have gotten to pick him up.

I often chuckle when folks question Ego's motivation. His name is EGO. Lol.
If you don't know what the name of the song in Yondu's funeral scene is, it's appropriately called "Father And Son." it's by Cat Stevens.
A lot of people didn’t _completely_ vibe with Mantis at first, mostly because her comic counterpart is an insanely vicious warrior, not the empath we have. But Mantis will prove to be more than what she appears. And come on, she is adorable ☺️ Pom Klementieff did a great a job.

Fun Fact: Yondu is actually one of the original Guardians of the Galaxy from the comics. Also, the Ravagers Sylvester Stallone (And himself) is talking to in the post credit scene, are the original comic Guardians of the Galaxy as well from the comics.

Ego did love Peter's mom, but his main self given purpose is still greater than love. That's his mistake.
He killed her so that he won't be tempted to abandon his greater plan and just be on Earth with her until she dies of old age. Peter's mom was the wall that almost stopped him in his tracks, and now her son is the one who stopped him.
Kind of reminds of me the serpent who tempted man to sin, and then their seed was destined to crush the serpent's head. The serpent caused its own destruction, like Ego caused his own.
How Marvel da ages people is insane. It looks amazing.
That stunt Dave Batista did hanging out while the ship is flying to me is an Easter Egg when Vin Diesel’s Stunt in the movie Triple XXX where he said “I Live For This Shit”. This stunt was better than that. Vin Diesel is jealous.
