  • Roger Federer Slice Backhand Slow Motion 2019
    Roger Federer Backhand Slice is considered by most to be the best in tennis as he uses it really effectively to unsettle his opponents. The Federer slice technique is faultless as he gives incredible rotation to the ball and the bounce remains low and skids through on the other side.

      @@tennis47Without doubt Roger has the best slice backhand because he playes with a one handed backhand Players with a one handed backhand can hit a better slice backhand than players with a two handed backhand

    As the racket enters the contact zone, the racket angle changes from slightly undercut to flat at impact, finishing along the imaginary line parallel to the baseline. Poetry in motion.

      Instinctual Beasts 😃😃 Most players say the hand that brings the racquet back has the most pressure in order to keep the hitting hand relaxed & loose. It’s like when Fed is spinning his racquet with his left hand when returning serve. He’s keeping his hitting hand relaxed. So you just relax😂

      @@maxwelldewinter I see what you're saying. I agree, but being loose all around is key in conjunction with the unit turn so daddies can whip.

    i tried roger's slice, but it brought me a lot more fault because it is more aggressive slice. Now, I use it only sometimes when the timing is perfect for me. If not, I hit normal slice trying to send further.

    I think Federe has type of slice shots. For the J type slice(the racquet goes side ways) Federer seems use the same grip (motorcycle grip) he use for his top spin backhand shots, no need to change the grip.

    Harry's bring the racket higher than the ball and he's slightly putting a tilt on the face but what that's not the critical part because everybody but the kitchen sink does that watch what he does from there and you'll start to see the secret to the slice backhand

    The reason two handers do not normally slice as well as one handers, until they get old and lazy, is that the two hander topspin can be hit much more consistently while the slice is opposite and floats. So it is just not worked on as much.

  • @douglashagan65

    He's high to low and then comes across the ball on the finish but come across the ball and the finish you're putting a high to low puts the back spin on it and then going across the ball on the finish like he's doing is the application of the side spin so go from going high to low on a slice he now finishes coming across adding a little bit of side spin to it this is the way that Jimmy Connors at his two-headed back and slice same way and so is Chris Everett Lloyd's forehead she didn't hit a slice forehead she decidespin forehead yeah side spin forehead

  • @douglashagan65
    @douglashagan65 3 года назад

    Well what he this is also I think more or less a side spinning over he's coming sideways across because what he wants to do with this shot is not a pure slice but is intention is to cause the ball to have a side spin on it if you look at a lot of the players that hit their back and slice they're basically hitting a side spin they're a pure slice he would be if he's hitting that he would the finish would indicate that he would start to raise the racket up so that the face of it would be pointing towards the Sun he would open the face at the completion raise the racket to shoulder level but he's not doing that that's because he's putting a side spin on it
