- Roger Federer Slice Backhand Slow Motion 2019
Roger Federer Backhand Slice is considered by most to be the best in tennis as he uses it really effectively to unsettle his opponents. The Federer slice technique is faultless as he gives incredible rotation to the ball and the bounce remains low and skids through on the other side.

Big things are coming very soon!
What do you think of Federer slice compared to Nadal and Djokovic?
The best technique, the best wrist of the ATP
Do you think he is using his slice less now than before?
Fed's slice is the best, Nadal's is the second and Djoc's is the third!
No comparison at all, Fed the best !!!
@@tennis47Without doubt Roger has the best slice backhand because he playes with a one handed backhand Players with a one handed backhand can hit a better slice backhand than players with a two handed backhand
As the racket enters the contact zone, the racket angle changes from slightly undercut to flat at impact, finishing along the imaginary line parallel to the baseline. Poetry in motion.
This is actually a really good description ngl
yes, face sends it and path bends it.
This is an artist at work! He elevated tennis to an art form. One of the most athletic men in the sports world!
The most talented tennis player with the best technique ever.
the way he still looks at the contact point even though the ball already flies out of his racquet is soooo unique to Federer that no one can copy!
The racquet ends up parallel to him right through..what a work of art is that 🙌🏻😇
It's meditation to me watching this video & listening to the music! Thanks for composing this video :)
I love tennis because of that particular shot wich looks simple at first sight and yet so technical and efficient. At beginner/club level it does so much damage when hit cleanly.
Totally agreed Fed's slice is the best on tour ! Thanks for the video.
peter cheng our pleasure we have many more videos like this coming soon! :)
@@LoveTennisOfficial Any videos on Gasquet's backhand?
@@tennis47 just uploaded it especially for you :)
@@LoveTennisOfficial Thanks a lot!
Best in history also
Best slice backhand ever.
Do you think he uses it enough?
with Steffi Graf’s one
Worst you mean
I really enjoyed watching this one! Good music.
Possibly the greatest slicer ever
Notice his preparation: He loosely grips the throat with his left hand, and brings the racquet literally behind his head. "Federer's Pillow" at work here y'all.
he's really holding his grip looser than the throat as he does on all his shots...
@@maxwelldewinter and I'd like to grip your throat tightly because you make no sense. lol jk
Instinctual Beasts 😃😃 Most players say the hand that brings the racquet back has the most pressure in order to keep the hitting hand relaxed & loose. It’s like when Fed is spinning his racquet with his left hand when returning serve. He’s keeping his hitting hand relaxed. So you just relax😂
@@maxwelldewinter I see what you're saying. I agree, but being loose all around is key in conjunction with the unit turn so daddies can whip.
What a beautiful backhand shot❗️
I wonder if tennis players will be studying this man's game / art even after 500 years! 🙂
Why does everyone turns into a tennis expert in the comment section
Loooooool
Just a bunch of federer fans
Fedeshit fanz
Poetry in motion .
Best backhand slice in the world!
Notice he doesn’t prepare so early that the racket is paused behind the head, rather it is a continuous motion.
i tried roger's slice, but it brought me a lot more fault because it is more aggressive slice. Now, I use it only sometimes when the timing is perfect for me. If not, I hit normal slice trying to send further.
I think Federe has type of slice shots. For the J type slice(the racquet goes side ways) Federer seems use the same grip (motorcycle grip) he use for his top spin backhand shots, no need to change the grip.
What a beautiful shot! Great video!
Effortless Beauty!
Do you have any slow motion of his topspin backhand from this Purple shirt series?
I love this music what is this song
PER SEMPRE FEDERER!!!❤❤❤
Poetic
Harry's bring the racket higher than the ball and he's slightly putting a tilt on the face but what that's not the critical part because everybody but the kitchen sink does that watch what he does from there and you'll start to see the secret to the slice backhand
One of the few videos you can't watch with 2x speed.
nice music
The reason two handers do not normally slice as well as one handers, until they get old and lazy, is that the two hander topspin can be hit much more consistently while the slice is opposite and floats. So it is just not worked on as much.
The secret of this slice its how he still looking to the contact point , if you do the same you will have this slice very easy
Thank you very much for the video .
enjoy :)
Slices through the opponent's souls.
Like if Federer is the best
the best ever?
@@LoveTennisOfficial yeah
No
is he waiting a ball or chasing a ball before an impact?
to this day, after watching so many slice videos, i still cant slice.........it always becomes a dropshot or just flies out of the court, what grip should i use for the backhand slice?
He's high to low and then comes across the ball on the finish but come across the ball and the finish you're putting a high to low puts the back spin on it and then going across the ball on the finish like he's doing is the application of the side spin so go from going high to low on a slice he now finishes coming across adding a little bit of side spin to it this is the way that Jimmy Connors at his two-headed back and slice same way and so is Chris Everett Lloyd's forehead she didn't hit a slice forehead she decidespin forehead yeah side spin forehead
87 true fans(likes) and counting ....of Federer's backhand slice.....
you can always share it for more fans! :p
Its now over, thanks roger!
Well what he this is also I think more or less a side spinning over he's coming sideways across because what he wants to do with this shot is not a pure slice but is intention is to cause the ball to have a side spin on it if you look at a lot of the players that hit their back and slice they're basically hitting a side spin they're a pure slice he would be if he's hitting that he would the finish would indicate that he would start to raise the racket up so that the face of it would be pointing towards the Sun he would open the face at the completion raise the racket to shoulder level but he's not doing that that's because he's putting a side spin on it
I can’t teach this 😮
What kind of grip does Federer use for his backhand slice ? That looks like a continental ?
Hello I am biginar in slice please give me a tips I am 10 years old
Best Slice of Men all time = Federer
Best Slice of Women all time = Graf
入境美妙
He could be a champion if he start competing early 😂😂
What happens if he quits playing?
Nobody in the world would care
@@warrenharbringer6471 lol
y'all should have put the original audio in here. sssswwwwwwwwwwwaasssshhhaaaaaaaa
The most obvious thing I notice is Roger's technique doesn't resemble anything teaching pros present to us.
We cover his slice backhand here - ruclips.net/video/L5LaWzJsfzo/видео.html
You are delusional
God exists, and this video proves it
What I didnt remember writing this im sorry
Im imbarrassed now😅
*embarrassed 🤡
ボールを良く見ているも何も、ボールがラケットに当たる地点を当たる前から両目で見ている。他のプロのスローって余り見たことないけど、他のプロも同じようにやっているのだろうか?
If I try to watch your Rafa Nadal slow motion video it says the video doesn't exist!

Very very godd nou hablish inghlich 😅
Great butcher! Best use to cut beef..
JustBeYourself more of a delicate carver than a butcher :)
5 thumbs down by Djokovic, his dad, Nadal, Uncle Toni and Andy Murray
I don't think they have been hurt by this shot. This is not exactly what they are afraid of when facing federer.
How does Nadal with 13 FO titles fit into the picture??
He could've been a butcher
