I own both a corded Metabo HPT and 36v Metabo HPT 10” miter saw and I agree that the corded saw bogs down less, if at all. I have the option of using the AC adapter for the 36v model but never do. Love the battery convenience. Both are outstanding machines! Thanks for the review on the coded 12”.

Crown cutting capacity, is a question. flatness of the base, place a straight edge and see if there are any issues there. that would be nice to know. vertical capacity is really what I'm more worried about

How is the blade deflection on it. Would love a cheaper version of the Kapex but blade deflection always not comparable

have you actually plugged a shop vac into the metabo? I've tried it and it always falls right out because the ring only goes a little more than halfway around the port
