Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I wouldn't have known how to setup and operate my new miter saw without your help. Project is now successfully completed and I look forward to using this tool on future projects.
Great video. I'm 70, female, and have been DYI projects all my life. Have a lot of tools and finally decided I needed a compound chop saw (my current non-compound Delta saw won't cut through a 4.5" board I'm using for baseboard). The instructions for this saw are fine, but slow reading. Your video was straight-forward in it's explanations. Thanks for the video!
Fantastic video. I’m a female senior citizen and have never used power tools. So informative and helpful. Now I’m not as intimidated to cut board and batten. Thank you thank you!
This seemed like a good first miter saw, especially for 95 bucks on Amazon Prime Day. It was delivered this afternoon, and I spent 30 minutes scratching my head over the printed instructions, then went searching for a video. Thankfully I found yours. Had me safely up and running in no time. Great job!
Just received my Metabo miter saw today. Scored it on Amazing for $108. Like most assemblies I forego the instructions. I stumbled across your channel looking for user reviews of the saw. Your straight forward no clutter presentation made me a sub. Looked at your list of videos and immediately knew this is the channel for me. During my 70 years I have gained just enough knowledge and skills to be dangerous. Your vids will be a good resource. Thanks
Yep. Been using mine for years, it's an amazing saw for the price. Got the kind of quality you don't usually get at these prices. I'm a Ryobi battery tool guy, so I know what you usually get when you go for best bang-for-buck, and the 10" Metabo HPT goes way above and beyond for the prices it goes on sale for. The size and lack of sliding might mean you need to look somewhere else - if you're cutting anything bigger than 2x6 you'll need a saw that's made for bigger boards.
Thanks for the tutorial! My first saw purchase. One look at that beast and then a bigger beast of an owner’s manual, and I was about to send it back. This took all the intimidation out of the process.
Thank you so much. I purchased mine 3 months and could not even come close to understanding the directions. Look forward to watching more of your videos. Also, more than happy to subscribe. 😊
Thank you for the tutorial! I'm 5'2" and bought this saw to replace my 12" DeWalt compound miter saw that was stolen a year ago. As much as I LOVED that saw it was heavy for me to haul around so I opted for this one for its weight of 24lbs & the $119 price at Menards. The reviews were great!! I always like to see how far I can get with assembly before I open the instructions and sadly it wasn't very far. Then I realized the instructions weren't helpful. So glad I found your video. I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to more help😊
Just got the last one today at Lowes for $120 and it is a great saw. Thank you for making this video I set it up it was a breeze thanks to you! Appreciate it bro!
Metabo needs to sponsor you!! Thank you so much for this video. I was stuck trying to put it together with the instructions and kept thinking it can't be this difficult. Your tutorial was excellent.
I have this saw on order from Lowes. Delivery due on Tuesday. I think that watching this video is going to make it much easier to get started when it arrives. Great video and thank you.
I am so appreciated for your video which explaining in details and demonstrating cutting in different materials. As a new user of the miter saw, I got a great start from your instruction and honest review. Thank you very much.
This saw is perfect for small work-45 degree angles on 2x4’s and 90 degree angles on 2x6’s.Ordered the laser version,it was an extra $40 bucks, but considering the accuracy factor,it was worth the extra money. My go to saw for complex tasks is heavy and mounted on a stand which takes some effort to get work ready, this saw will make life easier. Thanks for the tutorial.
Well done. I didn't need another saw but couldn't pass this up for the price. Would make a good framing saw like you use or trim. Lightweight and easy to move around.
I used my grandpa's miter saw when I was a kid and it pinched up on me and scared me from using one again. I use all types of saws every day but I never used a miter saw again after that. What causes a saw to bind up like that? I just bought the metobo 10" miter saw as shown in the video, thank you for the detailed video!
Thank you very much for this video. I just ordered this saw !! You were very thorough . I've never used a miter saw before but I have always wanted one. Thank you very much, I just subscribed to your channel.
Grabbed mine for $99 from Amazon on black Friday 2023 (dropped to $95 on cyber Monday) Waiting for arrival Really excited to start sawing Great review !!!!!!!!! Thanks
Thank you for this video. I’ve owned this exact mitre saw for almost 2.5yrs and didn’t know it was so versatile 🥴😜 (yeah who actually reads that instruction manual anyway)
Thank you for this video. Just bought this saw, my first experience with miter saws and I was a little unclear on how to attach the accessories and use the bevel feature, very helpful and detailed video to get me started.
I know when you first get a new tool, it can be confusing on how to put everything together. I was hoping this video would help somebody like you with that. Be sure to stay tuned for more and enjoy your saw!
Just picked it up from a local Menards for $120. I am a hobbyist and DIY and was looking at all kinds of 10-12” sliders. This one is way less expensive, lighter, compact, and plenty for all of my needs.
I'm considering this saw for a hobby of mine where I don't need an expensive/contractor saw. Thank You for your honest and detailed review of abilities of this saw. Awesome video/review!

I've been looking for a miter saw to save time and hassle to angles on trim but I still can't come to terms wasting money on a miter saw when my circular saw does everything I need and teaches new guys skills they need when they do run into having to use a circular saw
Very well done instructional video! Thank you. I do have a question that wasn't addressed, though. I am making an item where I have to use a depth stop on the saw, but I can't figure it out to save my life how to do that. Are you able to help with this? I need the blade to stop at 3/4" from the base. (I couldn't find it in the manual, so it's up to you! 😉)
Really good vdo. Helped to put this together specially the sub fence. I found place to keep hex key. The instruction in manual is turn off. Thanks dude.
New subscriber here. Absolutely, amazing video. From the info on bolting the saw to a 10 inch piece of wood ( I only had a 12 on hand) to what and where the bag of pieces, I was ready to throw back in the box, were to be placed, cause i felt intimidated.
Thanks for the video! I would love to see a comparison between the Metabo miter saw vs. the Evolution multi material miter saw those are the two I've narrowed down to considering on buying.
Excellent review, I just bought this saw to cut my baseboards and trim in my basement. For MDF baseboard (3.5" x 0.5") what blade would you recommend, as you mentioned a finer blade is required for molding? Thank you again for the great video. Thumbs up!

Thank you!! I should have known better, I learn by watching better than reading, wish I came straight to RUclips rather than struggle with the manual first 😂 This will be my first electric miter saw, using it for crown molding in my whole house!! Pulling off old trim baseboard in my living room and will replace it with new. Would you recommend this saw for this project or should I upgrade to a different chop saw?

This video was a lifesaver! The instructions that came in the box is not friendly for a newbie at all
You are welcome. I’m glad I could help you out. It is a great saw! Good luck with your new miter saw!
