Well Rise of the Tomb Raider was 20gbs. Now with its update its 56.8gbs so that should give you an idea of the size.. on a 1TB Xbox one X you could fit 6 games total so its not much different from the current set up... still thats more then enough games... currently i use a desktop external drive for my Games i have 6 Enhanced games and still 2.2TBs left over because i have 4 non enhanced games as well so im good.. the external drive i use was only 107 dollars...
elmhurst19 its supposed to be out now but it wasnt day one... not that ut can save this game.. they launched witthout any of the beta fixes, and it stutters like crazy on all platforms...
Your cloud saves will sync as soon as you launch the game so that's instant. Digital downloads will have to be re downloaded, unless you transfer them via external hard drive or network transfer. It's fairly quick though
+Joao Godinho It's already out, you should see the update available on your console. If not, I'd uninstall and reinstall or just wait to launch on the Xbox One X.
It depends on the mission, but generally speaking you'll see the "Saving" icon on the screen during Checkpoint Reached. To resume, you'll want to make sure you select Resume Campaign instead of selecting the mission.
Hi Monkie, Can you tell me please what is the total installation size on your Xbox One X, with the 4K patch included? Mine is still 54GB-ish, like on my Xbox One, I really don't see where (and if) that 4K patch was installed. I tried to reinstall multiple times... not sure.
+Xander Gaming I'm not at my console at the moment, but that sounds right. There is a known bug which should be fixed soon that's causing the problem where you have the assets installed, but the game tile doesn't reflect it. Basically if you're playing on an Xbox One X, you'll be prompted to update when you launch the game (if you don't already have it installed) so either way, you'll have it. Also, a new system update came out which might fix it. Be sure to check for updates in the console settings!

Meanwhile I started playing, the game appears under Xbox One X Enhanced tab, it looks good, but not... that good. I don't even know if it's me, if I set my expectations too high, or if I am still missing the 4K patch. Once I boot the game it switches my TV to HDR mode, it looks nice, maybe that is it and I am lunatic...
+Xander Gaming 53.7 is the install size I'm seeing currently. You might need to tweak your TV settings or the brightness in the game. What TV do you have?

How did Sledgehammer go from this to Vanguard? Not saying this game was perfect nor was it particularly historically accurate, but it still kept the feel and integrity of the Second World War without turning it into a complete mockery like Vanguard did.
The game was developed with Dynamic Resolution. The X stays at 4K or extremely near 4K for the vast majority of the game. It can dip into 1440p, but 90% of the time it's hitting Native 4K 60fps. Honestly, If it does dip, I've never noticed it. You can also check out more of the game, I have a playlist where I played through the entire campaign on the X.

It depends on the game - I think Gears of War 4 Multiplayer is Native 4K @ 60FPS, Single player is either 4K @ 30FPS or 1080p @ 60FPS w/ better textures and effects (Compared to 1080p @ 30FPS on the original Xbox w/ less effects and lower quality textures). Obviously it can't run EVERY game 4K @ 60FPS but that's down to the developers choice as much as anything else.
COD WW2 is mative 4k 60, so is Halo 5, Forza 7, Marvel vs CAPCOM,Wolfenstien 2 has a 4k 60 mode, Rocket League, and Super luckies tail, and soon Injustice 2, and many more.. hell Outlast 2 is native 4k 60... so is Diablo 3
Every time there's a nearby event the game is stuck for about a second and CoD got tons of events around every corner. They should fix this, it's not a great way to play any game like this.
crunchymud it also didnt launch with the online beta fixes... and servers are having a hard time with keeping or letting day one players connect... pre release players have no issues... its a huge fail of a game right now expect alot of returns

Xbox One S is better than the original Xbox One, but not better than the Xbox One X. Xbox One S offers HDR in games as well as faster load times in some cases, but it's similar to the original model, it just comes with a 4K UHD Blu-ray drive, smaller size and weight to the console and HDR in games.
If you can afford it, go with the Xbox One X. It runs all games better and loads so much quicker. It's an added bonus if you have a 4K TV as well since more games are supporting Xbox One X with enhanced features like Native 4K or HDR.
