What Norm Does is just Amazing!!! This is the Top o' the Mountain.... I have to get over my own issues when I see all these Guitars!! Its an education and a Fantasy!!🎶🎵🎶
But the real question is: who purchased "Rosie's" pristine one-owner 1960 Les Paul with all it's case goodies and the Gibsonette amp that went with it, and what did it sell for ???!!!
It is great to see that even though the Sunbursts tended to or were leading buyers to believe that the grains were not as good quality. That was the reason for the painted burst coverups. The Kress model is not of that quality as you can see the grain is exceptional
The old solidbodies are simply that-old guitars. They don't sound any better than than a strat that you might find at a pawnshop, 'Vintage' is a term coined by DEALERS like Norman. And why Gibson put floating pu's on a plywood (laminate) guitar is a mystery. The old L-5 though is a different story. It is a rare and precious gem, and I'm sure that it is priced as such.
Amazing how all those old 50’s and 60’s guitars survived the 70’s and 80’s and came out all original. Never seem to see those customized guitars anymore. What happened to them?
Hi Guys, I’m sure a lot of followers would love to the asking price of all the guitars you feature, some would have no idea and it would be great to get a handle on the the value…thanks
i recently "heard" that 80% of all "antiques" are manufactured in India and China......:-)..... sorry...just a thought that crossed my mind and this guy from russia (Dr.Nitro or 8bomb...) does some very good craftwork....better than fender and gibson i'd say.....:-)
If I got enough money don't care about logo. I have custom made electric guitar(JEM), it is ok. But these old guitars vow! Can one tested if just want feel it? Of course with very careful and like to hear one plays them...
At 5:30 Mr. Norm says "cool head stock inlay" and then immediately turns the guitar over so I can't see it but I wanted to. Presentation needs work. Jimmy
I would never pay the prices for the Old guitars. I have found that the newer guitars when you look around are better. I guess this is a collectors channel for guitars. I just collect Vintage Tube amplifiers only because I grew up playing these amplifiers and I can fix them.
I'm picking up on that musty old case smell and I'm not even there haha.
Norm reminds me of the used car salesmen in the TV commercials on Saturday afternoon during the old movies.
Dave Edmunds is Welsh by the way, Not English.
Much as I love you Norm - Dave was not "the Godfather of British Rockabilly"!! 🤨😅
That '57 two tone Strat looks like the 1955 Buddy Holly guitar. Very nice.
Norm … Dave Edmunds is WELSH - not English. It’s like me saying you’re from Canada 😂
good point.....take note....:-)
Always nice to see Joe Bonamassa’s guitars
Sorry Norm, have to correct you.. Dave Edmunds isn't English, he's Welsh.
makes little diff in sunny california.....:-)
@@stratman9449 Lol..those Canadians!

Same old, same old...
The sounds of all the acoustics are really nice. Just wishing I could hear them
Hey Norm, I'm sure you probably already know but keep an eye out for Bobby Z's stolen guitars...
not original arm or tip...that knocks off about $4k
Dave Edmunds in Monty Python voice.."but I'm not dead yet".
But the real question is: who purchased "Rosie's" pristine one-owner 1960 Les Paul with all it's case goodies and the Gibsonette amp that went with it, and what did it sell for ???!!!
Uncle norman...any 5 of them would be great...love that bunch at NORMS
I wish I had a quarter for every time Norm said the word guitars
The strat reminded me a bit of Clapton's Brownie. Layla would be good for Strataday.
Norm shutting the case on the term arm 🤔
When I hit the lottery I'm getting a broadcaster. A nocaster and telecaster same time frame (tele)
Norming proving once again he has the "eye" for desirable guitars.
It's that gorgeous Gibby archtop that takes my fancy.
Damn I wish I had the money to shop at normans

The “brothers” guitar was made for Latin music
I'm seeing a thin layer of red on that "2 tone" sunburst.
Only Joe Bonamassa would sell Carl Kress’s fucking guitar. Sorry but this is soooo telling
Amazing how all those old 50’s and 60’s guitars survived the 70’s and 80’s and came out all original. Never seem to see those customized guitars anymore. What happened to them?
They were probably all returned to stock after they realized the coin they could get for them lol
Hey ☺️ how the ZOO !!!!LOVE YOU ALL , and how's NORM???
34 burst .
Trogly has entered the chat 😂😎🤘
It’s soul crushing to know I’ll never be able to buy any of his spectacular vintage strats. I guess I can dream about it. Thanks for sharing norm!
Just get a custom shop!
@@ianthomas4568 it's not the same man.
Just buy a Mexico strat and install vintage style boutique pickups. If you’re a good player it will sound great
@@ramencurry6672 ye man why buy a Ferrari just get a 1984 Ford Bronco and put one of those wonder baums in the rear view mirror
@@zbarneyz Your comment does not make sense.
Is dishonest wear called. . . . . Relicking ?🤣🤣🤣
Nice guitars! The Strat is awesome. Maybe the lottery will come through for me this time..
What’s the story with those old Flying V cases.. I bet something way cool resides in the inner reaches of them… thanks for sharing Norm!!
Oh be still my wee heart that 335 is BRAW!!! 😍
Guitars are like watches. Art you can use
I wonder what the bracing is inside that flat 'archtop'...?
If Norm found a bunch of rare guitars then how rare are they. He found a bunch
why dont. you strum them......i dont buy anything. with out hearing it
Hi Guys, I’m sure a lot of followers would love to the asking price of all the guitars you feature, some would have no idea and it would be great to get a handle on the the value…thanks
I can tell you that the Larsen Bro's one was $15,900, cos I paused to read that hangtag.
We’ve gotta see a straturday with that ‘57
"Just found"...You don't "just find" old guitars...
i recently "heard" that 80% of all "antiques" are manufactured in India and China......:-).....

Of course with very careful and like to hear one plays them...
Has Bonamassa already bought the strat?
Nothing to be seen in the shop...
nothing but "old" guitars.....:-)
Can you at least plug a couple in and play them a little?
Player Grade doesn’t mean anything anymore. Also, I thought this guy was supposed to be an expert on this stuff, but he says a lot of misinformation.
2:09 Lemmo's laugh button
Just for geeks, what ballpark pricerange such a '57 could be had for?
Wow he just found em somewhere!! Probably behind a trash can
I would bet you a donut from Krispy Kreme the 59 P Bass is ash:)
joe bought most of these
Found > bought?
Nice guitars, and a one shot sales video - shame we couldn't hear how any of them sounded.
I'd almost bet that Jonathan Stout would be all over that Carl Kress L-5.
FAKE!!!!
Watch out for the horse down on Venice Beach… Apparently it’s pretty deadly
Mike Mcready would buy that ‘57 strat if he knew you had it ,
I remember that one. It's been refinished years ago and was a really nice job.
Really love that particular "strat"
best of the best wow thats the motherlode.
Haha got my bib on b4 looking at this. No drool on my shirt this time!
Those inlays in the L-5 are called wreath pattern
At 5:30 Mr. Norm says "cool head stock inlay" and then immediately turns the guitar over so I can't see it but I wanted to. Presentation needs work. Jimmy
Poor Lemmo …more guitars to play…wah
Cool can't wait to see JB buy them all
Love the crests, but that 57 strat........
Lemmo needs to play that Crest
It's because of guys like this that average Joes like us can't have good things
No mask, yes, no fear!
The autofocus has favourites.
Ok I'll take it!
obscene
Strat looks like 3 tone sunburst :-/
it's 2 Tone sunburst ! sometimes the 3 Tone sunburst strat gets confused with the 2 Tone sunburst because the Red color fade over time.
Love the Crest
How much?
very much....$$$.....
You found? A 2 tone Sunburst is called Vintage Sunburst.
