I see you also enjoy the self satisfaction of rebuilding old power tools. I love taking such power tools and make them not only look good, but function perfect as well. Thumbs Up!
I used to use a device like this, for cutting 8mm steel "sheets" that came on coils for a stamping press. Cool seeing one restored. That model can probably cut up to like, 4mm steel plate.
You forgot to set the blade gap with a feeler gauge appropriately for the workpiece thickness and hardness. It should *not* be zero except for very thin metal. This shear will handle up to 1/8" CRS.
Nice jig saw I still have mine but question why anyone who restore tools not put some type of anti seize Vaseline grease on the bolts as most tools get a hard life and be nice to easily remove them breaking off
I love how you restore old damaged devices like this...😍😍

Amizing, perseverance and prayer bear fruit.
I only have one complaint: a bit light on the grease, could have used more
I need this shear in my work shop!
Edit: I just checked the price for one of these...they aren't cheap.
Also check out rusteloum hammered paint
Hello, do you need oil for the trimmer?
From the looks of the brushes and the grease those shears were barely used, if at all.
Bravo!!! 😊👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌🇧🇷
Hi. Nice work! Can you please tell me what kind of lubricant was used in the gearbox? (blue) thnk
Lubricant for ass is the best way 😂😂😂
