Hey nice plans ! Which videos settings are you using? I’m flying with the avata 2 since few weeks and my color grading is very pale.. I think I have to buy ND filter and find the good videos settings :)
@@thadee83 Thank you! 🙏 I have a video on my channel from about a month ago that will totally help you with this. I talk about not only how to use the ND filters, but also some settings. Let me know you found it. 😊
Thank you! Much appreciated 😊 Haha yeah, I probably didn’t go as close as I normally would for that reason, the stillness can be quite deceiving whilst flying!
Definitely go on the hunt for somewhere open and quiet to practice - time of day obviously makes a difference too. If you have an interest in it, I’m confident you’ll love it once you’ve tried it!
@@spirittravels. You might get close but you can’t really recreate FPV with a regular drone (not properly anyway) because of the way they fly. But sure, you could get something similar ish, because for this video I was flying quite chilled FPV, whereas sometimes I’ll be fast and maybe throw some freestyle in. Definitely can’t recreate that with a regular drone.
@@spirittravels. It’s all about flying in manual/acro. That’s the biggest factor that comes in to play I think, because you have complete control over the drone like traditional FPV.
Thank you! Can’t remember exactly, but think it was either 2 options. Always in D-log M at 50fps. ND8 - ISO auto capped at 200 - 1/100 shutter No ND - ISO auto capped at 200 - 1/200 shutter
Love your videos! Gonna sound weird, but what kind of licenses do you need to do shots like yours, especially the ones in towns? I assume it's hard to have a "spotter" in those locales? How often do you get bothered by people or authorities?
Thank you! Towns are a rarity even with my license. In the UK, there’s 2 levels pretty much - A2 CofC and GVC. It’s also down to weight of drone. For example, it helps me use drones under a certain weight threshold kind of in a similar way to those flying sub 250g drones. A lot of the time I use sub 250g as well just to save hassle and not attract too much attention. Flying in a town for me is usually only for work on most occasions. If you have 2 willing spotters around then that will help with that.
@@LowryDroneography-Steve I for the moment have the Avata 2. Where I am confused is if C1 sub 900g drones are allowed to fly over built up areas or not at this time. I get the people requirement, which under article 16 is 30 meters. Basically that would change everything, as the air 3 would be a much better option than the mini 4 with it's longer flight time and dual cameras. There are so many shots of the London skyline, River Thames etc i'd like to do...
@@SiriusXAim I see. If you haven’t already, you should look into A2 CofC or GVC licenses. The Avata 2 is sub 500g. Yeah they are both great drones, the Mini4 loosens a lot of the restrictions in built up areas and saves hassle, but yeah the dual cameras on the Air3 are a great advantage for certain types of shots.
great reflections
@@jeffhudson1744 Cheers! It was one of those almost perfect and still evenings.
Very beautiful flight at dawn.. liked and subscribed!
Thank you! 😊 glad you enjoyed it. This was dusk but same thing haha. I will do the same in return 👍🏼

Amazing scenery, love the colours too. Great flight 👍
@@DFD1 Thank you! It was a really good chilled out evening and flights in that awesome sunset 👌
Great Video! Beautiful Footy!, Its tough flying close to the water when its that calm. Nice Job

Superb video, and great flying, the water is sooo still. Love it, and did you fly that last bit backwards?
Thank you! 🙂 Na, it’s a reversed clip. Flying in manual mode, so backwards is waaaay trickier and not really possible for that long (that I know of).
I purchased one of these a few weeks ago now but haven’t built the confidence to fly it yet. Need to find somewhere quiet like your locations.

mmm, smoooth flight, pleasure to looking, thumb up!

Great video, you got yourself a new subscriber 😊
Thank you! Very much appreciated 🙌😊
Could a similar styled video be created with a regular drone and a little bit of editing/ hyperlapse?

@@LowryDroneography-Steve Thanks for the update. Yes, I just saw another video made with this fpv. It's definitely a step above regular drone footage.

Love this - the reflections on the water are 😎😎
Cheers Liam! I was loving flying over that, just also being careful to not be in it as it was hard to judge distance at times. 😅

Beautifukl looking place. Beautiful reflections in the water. Awesome video.

@@LowryDroneography-Steve I will eventually get the mini 3, but I'm waiting for the drone alone, since I intend on flying it mainly FPV.
