You guys realize that he is presenting a spectrum, right? He isn't saying autism means you are mute 100% of the time. That is the EXTREME at the end of the spectrum. He is just presenting that these correlations of maternal / paternal bias present these symptoms on a spectrum.

I come from a family of people, most of whom are autistic, some of whom are diagnosed Schizophrenic. I've wondered for years now why schizophrenia isn't viewed as part of autism spectrum. My mother was unmedicated my entire childhood, and having been immersed in it I have often described it as "autism gone wrong". It's like a neural hyperactivity where some of the wires are crossed or missing.

The neuropathology of these disorders continue to show more correlative genetic similarities, further suggestive of causation. My genetic expression of this malady are my eldest and youngest son, with schizo bipolar and profound autism, respectively.

I was diagnosed first as schizo and further over the years as under the Spectrum, for so many years I had been exposed to chemicals molecules, as quetiapine and some others, but once I was removed of the medicine I have became a highly functional individual, what do you have to say or explain for me and, truely, so many others?

    • @elarbolmorado359
      @elarbolmorado359 3 года назад +2

Same, I started to think that one of the biggest problems living with schizophrenia and not being functional were the exposure to medication at a really young age, also I've been diagnosed with autism at the same time as schizophrenia but then my doctor just ignored that possibility and just treat the schizophrenia but now I'm started to think I've got both

I'm aware this is a really old comment but I have to say. I am diagnosed with schizoaffective bipolar type and i was miserable on meds and just in the medical system as a whole. I am even currently experiencing an "episode" and yet it is not debilitating, it's not a disease, and it's in fact rather eye opening. Not to sound self-righteous - and I don't think it is because "schizophrenia" was a gift to me and not anything I earned - but I believe it's a cure, or at least part of the cure, to the disease of modernism. I won't get started on my psychedelic drug use but after a long bout of that and eventually putting everything down (including medication) and giving my life to Christ i am happy and entirely myself. My body has seen no chemical influences in nearly half a year, and I am free. The system is designed to keep you down, and it is unfortunate sza is even considered a "disorder"..

I had a neighbour who was a shrink. He screamed the house down at his supposedly autistic son. The rest of the time the boy was left alone, to count his coins or to enter neighbours houses & ask for coins. It does make a huge difference how a person is treated or ignored/neglected.

I looked in to Schizophrenia for quite a few years, I would say since 2016 and, I have a very difficult question:
So, if an autistic baby or toddler has a schizophrenic mother she would just give in to the high demands because she is neurologically less demanding of the child, and because of warped thinking patterns the mother will be overly concerned and take the sign of the baby being bigger to mean he is healthier as a justification to deny her own needs to overly protect the baby and this would create a circle of a more demanding child ensuring that the child will grow up with autism?
This is ofcourse assuming that the mother despite being schizophrenic still maintains a level of mental health improved by the love of her kid increasing the motivation to overly care for the kid but would this be accurate?

I found this video trying to find out what are the chances of getting schizophrenia because I myself autism and my aunt and great grandmother have schizophrenia and I was trying to research if you could have both autism and schizophrenia and I found out on 18% chance of something I found and I like say not all autistic people have struggles emotional understanding in others but it’s a big struggle and possible in learning but it is a spectrum so all individuals are different

well, this has been educational, and for that I thank you. But I'm afraid that what I'm looking for is something more along the lines of diagnosis, and treatment. I suspect my elder brother to have one of these conditions due to exaggerated oddities in his behavior. Regardless of how it came to be, i wish to know if there is anything that can be done.

This is an educational lecture primarily for students. This is not for self diagnosis or for the general public to diagnose each other. If you need a diagnosis or treatment, tools begin with visiting your primary doctor and getting a referral to a psychiatrist who is appropriate for you. Don’t diagnose your siblings-encourage them to seek help themselves and guide them to make an appointment. This is not a video for at-home tools and resources in treating a disorder; it is a collegiate lecture.

Came here after watching the Mandela Effect, and was wondering if since (i think) schizophrenics are people that have trouble staying grounded to reality, and possibly have “multiple reality disorder”, and that they bounce around between what’s really happening and shift into different realities they also fully believe in. Shifting between worlds or timelines in their head one may say. What this would mean is that it is plausible autistic people would be MORE rooted into certain realities, meaning possibly major and unexpected change in environment disturbs them, (loud noises, a dramatic fight between parents) but what about the need to complete tasks? And their repetitive nature? Well, aren’t they narrowing the scope of their environment? They like things organized, consistent, and whole. Including their reality. The best way to achieve this desire is using patterns (ie using sets of 3). In the end, wouldn’t all of these things root them more firmly into a certain way of thinking, a certain pattern, and therefore a concrete and singular reality? I would think Schizophrenic people people have the opposite tendencies that’s why so many homeless people are schizophrenic and why the Middle East which has much higher rates of autism developed a strict, firm, simple, and honest religion?

Ok maternal byest has to be understood properly girl get more physical attention at birth compared to males. 2. mother and children share microbiome That contributes to the ability for a child to develop because microbiomes regulate chemical synths that contributes development. 3 the mother has more then half genetic contribution 4 schizophrenia is a sensory processing disorder like autism spectrum disorders 100% of autistic persons have a auditory issues of one kind or an outher if the same is found in schizophrenic person then the development off set has similar organs. 5 the long term effects of a high stress environment or content HPA axis activity from hallucinations and generalized anxiety , or over active basal ganglia (inproticuler arousal throttling) I think that lead to the neuro pruning issues sense and looses aflatiotion but..
Look novelty seeking eating disorders sexual development and expression all have similar respters to so the small mutations can contribute to the adaptation process.
Really I think the evolutionary point of schizophrenia is rapid evolution/adaptation because the sexual and food aspect promotes genetic diversity as well as biodiversity for the gut biome with that by proxy contributes to chemicals available in the body as well as brain function do to neuro transmitters available or free ratical descriptions of the current system forcing the body to adapt or die. Also theres evidence that solar activity peaks and trofts have a passive effects on bacteria and protists gene shuffling as well as seasonal mood disorder contributes to the solar and sarcadiom rythm aspects of chemical cascades more a evolutionary pushing to find a new niche increasing the later 2 factor in eating disorders. But again its speculation

My son has Asperger's and he spoke all his life . He was quite " normal" until he received his 2 year old shots .. within a day he developed symptoms of autism .. he was officially diagnosed at 5 .. he went through years of tests and evaluation .. at around age 12 we as in Dr and myself knew he was "snapping" out of some of it because he was acting more like him and me ... He's 18 now ,he still is deemed with autism and stays with me but he's got plenty of sense and definitely not schizophrenic . His drs think he will be like he should be by the time he's 30-35 .. the longer those shots where off over time we see radical improvement

This is complete bullshit and you need to learn it. YOU'RE not even making money by spreading these lies like some more famous idiots. This is even MORE pathetic than them. People who say what you say, are responsible for preventable child death, blindness, deafness, organ failure, cognitive damage, sepsis, loss of limbs, viral meningitis, and general failure to thrive due to illness. GET OFF THE INTERNET AND GO TO SCHOOL AND PAY ATTENTION THIS TIME. It's very clear you only read what you want to read, in order to back up your delusion. Stop spreading this mental illness to strangers on the internet and go seek psychological help. God knows you need it. Apparently your family doesn't.
