I remember it's six months for schizophrenia by saying "SIX-o-phrenia" and then work backwards for the other two mentioned disorders.
Wow i thought you were really cute so i clicked on your pic. Then i saw space coast and said *Too close* 😂🤷♀️
Cool method 👌👍👍
This is cool. Thanks.

Schizophrenia the person is grinding and he doesn't come back he dies at 28. Schizophrenum is episodic schizophrenia.

I must say Dirty Medicine was a GREAT resource for learning psych. I used this series to study for the PMHNP boards and passed. If it wasn't for this series and one other I dont believe I would've passed nor would I had a firm understanding on the material. Thank you sooooooo much!!

What was the other series, if you don't mind me asking?
This is good to know Karen. I am a PMHNP student and will test later this year! I also found this material fantastic.
Thank you for the comment. Inam going to use it now for my exams
Thank you this is really is helpful, I agree that this felt useful but didn’t not understand to the extent, congratulations on passing and hope that this series can give me the knowledge I need
wow you have no idea how much this video is helping me . im in a nursing program currently in psych trying to learn this and this is by far better than the way other videos explain even better than by book and professors explanation. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
OMG I was just breaking my head over this today. Thank you so much I really needed this!
AMAZING ! Wow, completely clarified each psychotic disorder and personality disorder ! Very well spoken and thorough ! Thank you so much !!!!!
I can NOT express just how much I love your content. It actually makes me look forward to studying the topics I dread because I know they'll be a piece of cake after watching one of your videos.
So grateful for you Dirty! thank you so much!
Thank you so much for breaking this down like this! This is SO helpful!
Never understood Schizoaffective disorder until this video. Thank you soooooo much!
Wowwww, what a beautiful way to solve my 15 years old confusion and drama. Thank you so much
This helped me study for my Psych exam, thanks for explaining this so well!
What a freaking AMAZING teacher! Why do you make EVERYTHING so simply understood. I am so grateful for you. Thank you so much. May you forever be blessed.❤️
Wow. Thank you so much Sir for the explanation!! Cleared my doubts. Your voice is clear and perfect. Speed is also good.
I'm a mental/behavioral health therapist (MA Psych) working in psychiatric care, in Sweden.I encounter very often people with schizoaffective disorder. and I have to say this is a fantastic video. So nicely explained!
It's easier to diagnose because you can abuse the dsm/icd for this trash can diagnose. The original form is much more unlikely to have than schizophrenia. I'd say 95% with this diagnose are misdiagnosed or contracted this disorder due to psychiatric malpratice before exhibiting psychotic symptoms.
This is the clearest video I've watched about this topic. Thank you very much for this.
Thank you so much.. As a 4th year MD i still find it hard to differentiate between all of this. this really makes it simple and i will rewatch it again until i know it by heart.. Thank you dirty medicine
Thank you. Your videos are always gold and it's obvious that you care about our success!
This is absolutely amazing. Thank you for doing this!!
I was diagnosed with schizophreniform disorder after having a psychotic break in boot camp. I have almost no memory of the actual break, but all I can really remember is gradually blacking out and losing my sense of self. I have a vague memory of agitation which led to me accidentally cutting myself with the temporary lock for my locker. Coming out of it, I remember thinking the US Army was performing experiments on my parents, and that the government was emitting microwaves in the air in order to control our brain chemistry. It was not fun. For whatever reason I craved earplugs too. The waves in the air were about as real to me, at the time, as the rest of my perceptual senses. In the psych ward apparently the nurse had said I was screaming in my room saying don’t kill my dad. I’m better now, I just still hear subtle voices in my head (primarily negative) commentating on my life.
I had a psychotic break during 2020 and you may have asked for earbuds because of the voices I remember the majority of break pretty well and I asked for earbuds because the voices would be so overwhelming almost like it was loud or something
@@michaelwarner7311 That’s sucks bro nobody should have to go through that. Hopefully it’ll just get better in time
This happened to a lot of my fellow recruits when I went through back in 2007 at sand hill in fort benning, GA. Hope your doing better now.
The microwave zaps may have been real
I want to thank all you guys who have served in the service.
