Yin Sigrún - The Cyber Viking

I've been sick and completley forgot to upload yesterday :(
Meet Yin! She is the Y of Team EBNY and is the Team's frontline bruiser. In combat her goal is to demolish the enemy Frontline and make herself the biggest target. Her Semblance "Battle Cry" is an AOE enhancer that boosts Strength, Speed and Reaction time to all who hear it (and I do mean all, even her enemies). It has proximity based fall off for how potent of a boost her Semblance can give and it only effects soul bearing creatures. The Primal scream she let's out essentially pulls recipient's Adrenaline to the surface to be used instantly and this makes for one helluva fight. Here are some other neat details about her Semblance: 1. The recipient must be hearing her voice unmodified and naturally to receive a boost. So no megaphone, no recordings, etc. 2. Her Scream must reach a Decible threshold of 100DB in order for her semblance to activate which for reference is equal to about a Snow Mobile, Circular Saw or a really good Blender. 3. The Recipients own hearing abilities determine how effective the boost is. A deaf person wouldn't benefit from this, a person deaf in one ear would get a half boost and theoretical a Faunus with an ear feature could get a double boost at the risk of permanently damaging their hearing. Some unfortunate downsides to her Semblance is the constant sore throat and self induced headaches.
Semblance aside, Yin believes herself to be a chosen warrior of the Brother Gods tho she doesn't flaunt this, instead opting to embrace it as a great personal journey. She grew up in Atlas as the sole Child of an arranged marriage between her parents. Her mother as a Faunus and her Father, a Human. Neither parent held resentment towards the other and both understood the political and financial gain their district got from the situation. Naturally, Yin adopted her Mother's Feathers as her Faunus trait. They grow on her arms except for the area over her scar. For reasons far too long and complicated to fully get into here in the description, Yin moved out of Atlas by herself (not including a Family Caretaker) to enroll at Beacon Academy. It's here she'd embrace who she always knew she was meant to be.
P.S. Her favourite class is easily Professor Port's Grimmology given her family's background with Monster Hunting aswell as the Creatures of Grimm's connection to the younger Brother God.
P.P.S. I almost forget to mention her weapons/equipment. Those Axes are "Aesir", they use multiple types of Dust coatings on the blades and host Gravity Dust in the handles. Those Gauntlets are the "Sibling's Palms" and she mostly uses Gravity Dust to punch her enemies into their next life. They also connect to the handles of Aesir so that she can throw them and recall them to the Sibling's Palms at will. That's the short version of her equipment anyways :)

We are fairly caught up to the majority of OC Video edits but I still have a few more left. I also have tons of Art I haven't edited that I can probably figure out a way to show y'all after we get caught up. Next week, Finnick's Mercenary Arc outfit.

Ahhhh her semblance acting as a double edge sword is fantastic (thankfully it don’t work on Grimm) Is there a certain time limit each time or does it depend on how loud she cries? Ooooo I love her design!!!! Her gauntlets are fantastic :D

At maximum effectiveness (within 10 feet) it lasts for a minute. Then for every 10 feet away from the scream someone is, the effects lessen with a range based fall off. At its smallest "dosage" it acts like a jolt of Adrenaline.
So to summarize its an AOE range based fall off similar to wifi. However it largely depends on a person's hearing. So a minute at max with dissipating effects the further away a recipient is which can fluctuate depending on their own hearing.
For Yin herself its always maxed out.
Also the power boost has the same fall off rules as the time limit.

@@atlesianphoenix Man she must drink a lot of honey and tea for her poor throat. I’m curious if her aura breaks do the effects immediately stop or will it stay until the effect wear off naturally.
