Tool had been on my peripheries for many years before yet I never really tried to listen to them once. Three months ago or so, I stumbled across this video compilation about the video owner's top ten drop d riffs. 46 and 2 was his top 3. The moment I heard the riff, I scratched the video, searched the song, listened the entire song, and proceeded to download every song that has tool in it's title and stuck to listening these songs everyday. The thing about tool is that I never get bored with their music. Schism even managed to become my ear worm, made me unable to focus on shit like holding a normal conversation with people around me because it keeps playing on repeat inside my head 🤣
