Ahh I see, I was wondering what the recent Wukong nerf was about: - Can no longer activate Cloud Walker again until the Heavy Slam animation is complete. - Celestial stomp no longer stuns CC-immune enemies.
It's such a shame that he can't replicate the success of this build with his Iron Staff if only for the flavour. I hope with Companion Weapons finally getting buffed that Exalted Weapons being given modern statlines is just around the corner.
Defy augment idea: “Defy will force proc status from the Iron Staff (including ones modded on). Kills with Iron Staff will increase Defy’s armor buff duration.” Thought anyone?
DoT's dealt by Melee Influence TRIPLE DIP faction bonuses. It is definitely worth dropping Nourish (and slotting something else like Flow or Equilibrium to enhance your energy economy), in favor of slotting Roar. Especially since you easily have room for that by dropping your useless +health mod, seeing as you're perpetually invincible in Cloud Walker.
Honestly if we're talking optimal the play is to keep Nourish as a triple dipped Roar at his Power Strength is around a 4.5x multi which is the same boost as Nourish more than doubling his elemental weight and spreading even 1 Viral proc through Influence. Swapping Primed Pressure Point for a Primed Bane is a 3x boost for a 30% reduction from base damage stacked from the aura and arcane.
I got Wukong and the Azothane for Deep Archimedea this week, figured I'd look around for a build, just copied Wukong and shuffled tbings around on the Azothane and MY GOD what a ride that was. Basicaly 90% damage throughout all 3 missions, this is NUTS

Wukong's greatest ability IMO is simply being the best QoL frame. Casually invincible plus the best mobility skill in the game. Give him a good gun and there's sort of no reason to run anything else. Though of course cloud slamming to clear the screen is very nice too
Wukong's a newbie friendly generalist, with a toolkit that can provide unique strengths in a wider range of content than any other frame... But nearly everything he can do is still done better by other frames. I. E. his ability to cloudwalker through lasers makes him able to do some harder spy content like a stealthy frame, and he can even do it extremely fast, but he's still not as specialized for it as Ivara is. Likewise, what this build is doing is more or less the same thing Kullervo does, but Kullervo can do it much, much more flexibly and hit much higher numbers, even if he's a little harder to use. This isn't to say he's bad at all, but his only real strength is that he's a skeleton key, and I'm expecting DE's going to nerf him again based on usage numbers, without considering *why* those numbers exist, and he'll just completely fall out of relevance for vets again.

I’m confused, this wukong is like easily the most busted build in the game yes? I just took it to level cap on a frame with no forma and never even took any damage
Yes, and people who say otherwise legit have either never tried it or have tried it but built it wrong Arca titron influence slam + nira by itself obliterates all level cap content. Frames like kullervo or zephyr can theoretically deal more damage, but that doesn't matter when the weapon by itself already beats the highest possible damage check. This by default makes wukong - the best qol option for the slam build, the literal best option as the "stronger" alternatives are stronger in a way that doesn't actually matter within the limits of warframe. I've seen people call this build "good" but not the "best", citing things like thermal sunder or ocucor saryn as being "better" than it, but that is unfortunately just not the case, and anyone who claims otherwise are vastly underestimating this build's performance in actual missions. This build warps the game in a way that is actually kind of problematic. It brings in damage that is on par with the laetum, felarx, and the vasto prime in terms of single target while having more aoe than every incarnon, all without a buildup mechanic, and you don't even need to aim. This build is on *wukong*, the warframe with *cloudwalker*, the frame with one of the most powerful mobility/survivability abilities in the entire game. The only builds that are situationally better than it are saryn spores nuke or thermal sunder spam and other strong non sp nukes, but these are only better *outside of steelpath* This build breaks the game by giving you damage that obliterates level cap without needing to aim, with aoe that beats out pretty much every weapon in the game, with some of the best mobility in the game, all while letting you be completely invincible and invisible all throughout it because cloudwalker is a balanced ability.
If you don't like playing it on Wukong though, you can play it on any other frame also by just tapping the roll key to instantly break the animation lock, if you time it right, you can even fit a tiny hop in with the roll to immediately slam again. The AOE is going to hit everything anyway so it is unlikely you will notice much of a difference. It is my fall back option in Circuit if I don't get a decent frame.
