Yup thankfully I picked up on the project recently and was able to donate my cache which includes both US,ASIA and Japanese content, hope it helps them out ✌️
I remember being on Home back in 2008 and looking at these graphics and thinking they were absolutely incredible and thought graphics can’t get any better than this
I have no idea why playstation didn't release a PS4 version they could use it as free advertisement for their up coming movies and games imagine if you could virtually go to a theater to watch a new Sony movie for a small fee.
I have PS4 and PS5, but I have a very special feeling with PS3. The developer who managed to revive Home is a hero. It was one of my favorite apps on PS3. PS3 was very special for us, in fact to this day I'm still playing. More and more I find that the community is returning to PS3 and that fills me with great joy.

Really hoping for a new version of PS Home on the PS5. Sony should get Media Molecule to make it (or at least co-develop it). If the new version of Home had tools for user generated content that were as powerful as what they've got in Dreams, it would be an absolutely amazing experience. Would love something like this with PSVR 2 support as well.
Media molecule needs to make a LBP game again. Dreams is good but lack of playing with friends really kills it for me. That’s what made the first 2 LBP games amazing for me. The studio that made 3 didn’t have the best quality and wanting players to create their best levels.

I'd personally rather see Mm make something like PS Home than LBP, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me. Either would be awesome, tbh.
@@PlaystationGamerZX Yeahhhh, Nebula was made by Atom Universe I believe, a huge company that helped make PSH, BUT it's exclusively Atom Universe. I dearly applaud them for trying their best to keep the PSH trend going, but it's truly not the same. 😐 BUT It's still something worth checking out.
I love this game I wish it came back to PS4/PS5. Best "metaverse" game back in the day. So many outfits, custom posters from harddrive in your own apartment, watch real movies in theatres with people and lots of cheesy dance moves.

Never played Home back in the day and probably won't now but the fact that Sony can declare something dead and the community can basically brute force it back to life is hugely fascinating. Makes me realize how little I actually know about tech..
This game literally was the best you missed out. I made so many friends on there we used to watch movies together and listen to music they even had games on there.
Oh my god, that’s so awesome. I’ve had so many memories playing PSHome back in 2010-2013. Just coming back home from school and playing it all day and meeting online friends, and playing all of the sick levels that you had to download. Good times; I miss them dearly

The fact that Sony is doing all these live services games but they don't do a PlayStation Home for PS5 is odd. Just imagine PlayStation Home as a tech demo for PS5, similar to Astro's playroom but in this case, PS Home would not only show of the dualsense controller features, limited loading screens but actually showcase the visual fidelity side of things, to give us an idea what "next gen" graphics could look like.
Usually to keep services like Home alive, someone within the company must support it, and this person must be of a higher position (like an executive). Home for PS3 was started when Phil Harrison was head of WWS, and for a Home 2.0 to exist, someone of similar position needs to back it. I'm looking at you Herman Hulst!
tbf we don't know what all of these live service games are going to be. One of them very well may be a new PS Home especially with the launch of PSVR 2

Get a PS3 bro, you won't regret it. I bought one and have been buying classic games for cheap. Don't regret it one bit. I don't even play my PS4 anymore and I don't think I'll be getting the ps5

Metaverse should be much larger honestly, something like GTA6 online. GTA5 had a price tag of $600 million to develope, Meta/Facebook should have that kind of money

Although I was a little too young to experience PS Home in its peak I did watch my older cousin play it a couple times and remember really hoping to play it once I grew up, it's mind blowing that I can experience even a small part of the incredible platform. I hope they'll still keep working on it as this is a very important piece of PlayStation history
PS Home, i was a kid without any skill in english and i was trying to make friends online, this video gives me goosebumps, a lot of memory comes to my mind watching this, also i spent a bunch of money in clothes and other stuff, when i was kid i couldn't buy one game per week or per month so the only way to do something different from cod or fifa was jump in PS Home and meet people and play mini games, if PS Home will be back online one day i will buy a PS for sure, that universe was amazing i dont know why but i loved it
Very cool, I specifically remember the bowling alley being absolutely packed along with pretty much everywhere else. It was a lot of fun and gave me a glimpse of what my social life would’ve been like if I wasn’t an awkward shut-in loser.
This is the perfect way to make the Metaverse in PSVR2 on PS5 with a new and updated current gen version of PSHome. This could Easily be PlayStations future version of their Metaverse in VR.
I've been following this for years now, and I'm super happy to see Home back online. The discord has been a great source of information as well. Shout out to all those involved in keeping this wonderful piece of history alive. Next on the list: MAG. It's currently running in a closed alpha stage.
The different video game spaces were so cool, and I LOVED getting all the different notifications saying I acquired an item, and LOVED decorating my home with all the stuff I got, it was so cool and fun!👌🏻
One thing that I remember from PlayStation home is…. Halloween event! When we had to go inside a hunted hospital and there was a long line. As we get closer to the front, we hear people screaming and laughing and it was so fun when I had my turn. Imagine if it was VR
I loved PlayStation Home, I miss it so much. It felt like a great place for people to come together, times have sure changed since the PS3 days when online gaming was just kicking off.

This is insane. ❤️ i remember i got on playstation home so much i became beyond popular in a sense of people knowing who you are no matter which hangout spot you went to. it became so addictive pshome was my home. from the people to the clothes, the hanging out spots, the dances the cool "2000's" music themes, the items (and when i say items i mean spending 500 and up just to have all the items u want.) and or being in "a clan" or a "cool persons only club" having all the coolest apartments. i'm glad to see playstation 3 home is back. i loved every single second of it and i'll never take back any of those late night memories i stayed up playing it. even the late mornings. 😂 this will forever be apart of my heart and i'm always gonna support it.
This takes me back to 2009 to 2012. Those were the times when I was most active in Playstation Home on my PS3. Good times. Anyone else remember using Folding At Home on the PS3 back then? I like the music that plays when just leaving my PS3 on when doing something else. I've met a few friends on Playstation Home. I wonder how they're doing now.

Hi Mystic, I'd like to thank Nagato and all of the other people working on that project, I didn't use Home that much at the time but I really liked the idea. This is great. It's really sad that Sony doesn't bring back that on PS4 and 5.
I used to play Home as a kid and kinda took it for granted. Now I'm an adult and I miss it a lot. I miss the Granzella worlds the most. Especially Great Edo and it's demon hunting mini game. It makes me happy people are doing their best to rebuild and restore it to its former glory.
I never thought seeing the Harbor Studio interior would have me grinning so hard, but it did. I missed this whole thing so much since I last played 10 years ago.
I was a closed beta tester during the earliest stages of home, it was amazing, I made so many friends and jumped in daily just to talk and hang out I was happy to see it get so big although they removed things like proximity voice chat. Watching this video made me smile a lot, thank you ryan!

Didn’t they take it down because it was losing them money? I get they have money but at a certain point if something isn’t making money it isn’t worth continuing. Though, we live in different times and something like this cooooould work, but now they’d be going into a saturated market. But I believe there isn’t anything like this on PS4 or PS5 so it would be open on that front.
Home was my life, every day coming back from uni or work, this was all I thought about. Made so many good friends that I eventually met in real life in other countries. I do owe alot to Home and was devastated when it said goodbye. I'm glad they are trying with destination home but I do hope it doesn't end up futile with PS3 being the base centre and little marketing of it's existence. I can just see and guage how much work they are putting in, which I applaud, and hope it comes out to be worth it

I'm so happy that this is finally back, I never had an Playstation 3 growing up, but I really want one, and I'm probably going to get one, becuase of this. I remember playing PS Home when it was still available. Got a few trophies, but I mostly used it, in hoping to find some friends online who still play the PS3. It's nice to share experiences with people who still play on older consoles. I still play on the PS3 to this day. But mostly single player games.
I used to have a PS3 for 7 years (for 4 of those years my very own with the Super Slim model before I sold it) and now in 2023 I plan on having a PlayStation console collection which the PS3 will be the oldest one I’ll get. I’m going for a Slim model, 320 GB for the size since it’ll be something to mix things up. My living room so far as the PS5 disc version (have owned it since November 2022) but I’ll get a 1 TB PS4 Slim and of course PS3. My bedroom so far as a PS4 Slim (500 GB version) that I’ve had for 6 years but I’ll eventually get a digital PS5 in it as well.
I think I’m done with PlayStation home forever it’s not even a game it was very strange I had no interest in it Sony closed it cause not to many were playing on it which is true the only thing I’m waiting for is Spider-Man 2 Wolverine and resident evil 4 remake street fighter 6 that’s not out until next year it’s to bad PlayStation won’t add their first party games to plus extra maybe I’ll subscribe game pass will always beat plus extra plus premium very soon all call of duty games will be on game pass everyone on PlayStation will have to pay full price to play call of duty

PS Home, i was a kid without any skill in english and i was trying to make friends online, this video gives me goosebumps, a lot of memory comes to my mind watching this, also i spent a bunch of money in clothes and other stuff, when i was kid i couldn't buy one game per week or per month so the only way to do something different from cod or fifa was jump in PS Home and meet people and play mini games, if PS Home will be back online one day i will buy a PS for sure, that universe was amazing i dont know why but i loved it

Very cool, I specifically remember the bowling alley being absolutely packed along with pretty much everywhere else. It was a lot of fun and gave me a glimpse of what my social life would’ve been like if I wasn’t an awkward shut-in loser.
This is the perfect way to make the Metaverse in PSVR2 on PS5 with a new and updated current gen version of PSHome. This could Easily be PlayStations future version of their Metaverse in VR.

The different video game spaces were so cool, and I LOVED getting all the different notifications saying I acquired an item, and LOVED decorating my home with all the stuff I got, it was so cool and fun!👌🏻
One thing that I remember from PlayStation home is…. Halloween event! When we had to go inside a hunted hospital and there was a long line. As we get closer to the front, we hear people screaming and laughing and it was so fun when I had my turn. Imagine if it was VR

I loved PlayStation Home, I miss it so much. It felt like a great place for people to come together, times have sure changed since the PS3 days when online gaming was just kicking off.
I miss the interior and architecture of PS Home, they were always so pleasant
What amazed me was the amount of mini games of actual games they had in PlayStation home

This is insane. ❤️ i remember i got on playstation home so much i became beyond popular in a sense of people knowing who you are no matter which hangout spot you went to. it became so addictive pshome was my home. from the people to the clothes, the hanging out spots, the dances the cool "2000's" music themes, the items (and when i say items i mean spending 500 and up just to have all the items u want.) and or being in "a clan" or a "cool persons only club" having all the coolest apartments. i'm glad to see playstation 3 home is back. i loved every single second of it and i'll never take back any of those late night memories i stayed up playing it. even the late mornings. 😂 this will forever be apart of my heart and i'm always gonna support it.
I miss this era of gaming.

This takes me back to 2009 to 2012. Those were the times when I was most active in Playstation Home on my PS3. Good times. Anyone else remember using Folding At Home on the PS3 back then? I like the music that plays when just leaving my PS3 on when doing something else. I've met a few friends on Playstation Home. I wonder how they're doing now.

Hi Mystic, I'd like to thank Nagato and all of the other people working on that project, I didn't use Home that much at the time but I really liked the idea. This is great. It's really sad that Sony doesn't bring back that on PS4 and 5.
Playstation HOME wasn't for me... but its great to see this passion project bring it back to life for fans of this older stuff 👌
I've only ever played Home a handful of times but its left such a Nostalgic impact for me. The vibes were something special.

I used to play Home as a kid and kinda took it for granted. Now I'm an adult and I miss it a lot. I miss the Granzella worlds the most. Especially Great Edo and it's demon hunting mini game. It makes me happy people are doing their best to rebuild and restore it to its former glory.

I’m a donator of cache data so I’m in line for the beta. Can’t wait. Home has such a big place in my heart and it’s amazing to see it back. Sony was smoking crack taking this down. My god 2010-2013 was so fun cause of home. Nostalgic high school days.

Didn’t they take it down because it was losing them money? I get they have money but at a certain point if something isn’t making money it isn’t worth continuing. Though, we live in different times and something like this cooooould work, but now they’d be going into a saturated market. But I believe there isn’t anything like this on PS4 or PS5 so it would be open on that front.

Home was my life, every day coming back from uni or work, this was all I thought about. Made so many good friends that I eventually met in real life in other countries. I do owe alot to Home and was devastated when it said goodbye. I'm glad they are trying with destination home but I do hope it doesn't end up futile with PS3 being the base centre and little marketing of it's existence. I can just see and guage how much work they are putting in, which I applaud, and hope it comes out to be worth it

I'm so happy that this is finally back, I never had an Playstation 3 growing up, but I really want one, and I'm probably going to get one, becuase of this. This is going to be so cool because alot of people, inclduing myself, will be able to discover, and rediscover this game! It's going to be awesome. Can't wait to try it out.

I remember playing PS Home when it was still available. Got a few trophies, but I mostly used it, in hoping to find some friends online who still play the PS3. It's nice to share experiences with people who still play on older consoles. I still play on the PS3 to this day. But mostly single player games.
I used to have a PS3 for 7 years (for 4 of those years my very own with the Super Slim model before I sold it) and now in 2023 I plan on having a PlayStation console collection which the PS3 will be the oldest one I’ll get. I’m going for a Slim model, 320 GB for the size since it’ll be something to mix things up. My living room so far as the PS5 disc version (have owned it since November 2022) but I’ll get a 1 TB PS4 Slim and of course PS3. My bedroom so far as a PS4 Slim (500 GB version) that I’ve had for 6 years but I’ll eventually get a digital PS5 in it as well.

I think I’m done with PlayStation home forever it’s not even a game it was very strange I had no interest in it Sony closed it cause not to many were playing on it which is true the only thing I’m waiting for is Spider-Man 2 Wolverine and resident evil 4 remake street fighter 6 that’s not out until next year it’s to bad PlayStation won’t add their first party games to plus extra maybe I’ll subscribe game pass will always beat plus extra plus premium very soon all call of duty games will be on game pass everyone on PlayStation will have to pay full price to play call of duty
