Yup thankfully I picked up on the project recently and was able to donate my cache which includes both US,ASIA and Japanese content, hope it helps them out ✌️
I remember being on Home back in 2008 and looking at these graphics and thinking they were absolutely incredible and thought graphics can’t get any better than this
I have no idea why playstation didn't release a PS4 version they could use it as free advertisement for their up coming movies and games imagine if you could virtually go to a theater to watch a new Sony movie for a small fee.

I have PS4 and PS5, but I have a very special feeling with PS3. The developer who managed to revive Home is a hero. It was one of my favorite apps on PS3. PS3 was very special for us, in fact to this day I'm still playing. More and more I find that the community is returning to PS3 and that fills me with great joy.
I love this game I wish it came back to PS4/PS5. Best "metaverse" game back in the day. So many outfits, custom posters from harddrive in your own apartment, watch real movies in theatres with people and lots of cheesy dance moves.
Really hoping for a new version of PS Home on the PS5. Sony should get Media Molecule to make it (or at least co-develop it). If the new version of Home had tools for user generated content that were as powerful as what they've got in Dreams, it would be an absolutely amazing experience. Would love something like this with PSVR 2 support as well.
Media molecule needs to make a LBP game again. Dreams is good but lack of playing with friends really kills it for me. That’s what made the first 2 LBP games amazing for me. The studio that made 3 didn’t have the best quality and wanting players to create their best levels.
@@iGotIceInMyRice-s1y I'm hoping they add multiplayer to Dreams, at least. Dreams is an amazing creation toolset, but LBP definitely had a better game attached to it. I'd personally rather see Mm make something like PS Home than LBP, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me. Either would be awesome, tbh.
@@PlaystationGamerZX Yeahhhh, Nebula was made by Atom Universe I believe, a huge company that helped make PSH, BUT it's exclusively Atom Universe. I dearly applaud them for trying their best to keep the PSH trend going, but it's truly not the same. 😐 BUT It's still something worth checking out.

Im waiting for bgtoolset to come out agian. I just got installing a 1tb ssd im so happy with it. Been doing a full playthru of oblivion in the mean time
This makes me so emotional. Such a gem of a game that got left behind by Sony like many other games and applications. Im just glad somebody out there did what they could to restore this game.
Oh my god, that’s so awesome. I’ve had so many memories playing PSHome back in 2010-2013. Just coming back home from school and playing it all day and meeting online friends, and playing all of the sick levels that you had to download. Good times; I miss them dearly
PS Home, i was a kid without any skill in english and i was trying to make friends online, this video gives me goosebumps, a lot of memory comes to my mind watching this, also i spent a bunch of money in clothes and other stuff, when i was kid i couldn't buy one game per week or per month so the only way to do something different from cod or fifa was jump in PS Home and meet people and play mini games, if PS Home will be back online one day i will buy a PS for sure, that universe was amazing i dont know why but i loved it
The fact that Sony is doing all these live services games but they don't do a PlayStation Home for PS5 is odd. Just imagine PlayStation Home as a tech demo for PS5, similar to Astro's playroom but in this case, PS Home would not only show of the dualsense controller features, limited loading screens but actually showcase the visual fidelity side of things, to give us an idea what "next gen" graphics could look like.
Usually to keep services like Home alive, someone within the company must support it, and this person must be of a higher position (like an executive). Home for PS3 was started when Phil Harrison was head of WWS, and for a Home 2.0 to exist, someone of similar position needs to back it. I'm looking at you Herman Hulst!
tbf we don't know what all of these live service games are going to be. One of them very well may be a new PS Home especially with the launch of PSVR 2

Get a PS3 bro, you won't regret it. I bought one and have been buying classic games for cheap. Don't regret it one bit. I don't even play my PS4 anymore and I don't think I'll be getting the ps5
Although I was a little too young to experience PS Home in its peak I did watch my older cousin play it a couple times and remember really hoping to play it once I grew up, it's mind blowing that I can experience even a small part of the incredible platform. I hope they'll still keep working on it as this is a very important piece of PlayStation history
This right here brings back so many memories. The people you meet, the relationships you developed on here it was all there for me like it puts a smile on my face to see that it is coming back would I join it probably no but to see it come back in the limelight is awesome.

This game literally was the best you missed out. I made so many friends on there we used to watch movies together and listen to music they even had games on there.

Playstation would shit on meta if they revived home and made it vr ready. The service was ahead of its time and I still remember it fondly. It’s amazing to see fans keep it alive.
I am severely excited and hope they never give up on this and I hope everyone continues to support them and wait for it to be finished so we can all play again together like it once was. Very cool, I specifically remember the bowling alley being absolutely packed along with pretty much everywhere else. It was a lot of fun and gave me a glimpse of what my social life would’ve been like if I wasn’t an awkward shut-in loser.
I loved PlayStation Home, I miss it so much. It felt like a great place for people to come together, times have sure changed since the PS3 days when online gaming was just kicking off.
This is insane. ❤️ i remember i got on playstation home so much i became beyond popular in a sense of people knowing who you are no matter which hangout spot you went to. it became so addictive pshome was my home. from the people to the clothes, the hanging out spots, the dances the cool "2000's" music themes, the items (and when i say items i mean spending 500 and up just to have all the items u want.) and or being in "a clan" or a "cool persons only club" having all the coolest apartments. i'm glad to see playstation 3 home is back. i loved every single second of it and i'll never take back any of those late night memories i stayed up playing it. even the late mornings. 😂 this will forever be apart of my heart and i'm always gonna support it.

One thing that I remember from PlayStation home is…. Halloween event! When we had to go inside a hunted hospital and there was a long line. As we get closer to the front, we hear people screaming and laughing and it was so fun when I had my turn. Imagine if it was VR

I like the music that plays when just leaving my PS3 on when doing something else. I've met a few friends on Playstation Home. I wonder how they're doing now.

The different video game spaces were so cool, and I LOVED getting all the different notifications saying I acquired an item, and LOVED decorating my home with all the stuff I got, it was so cool and fun!👌🏻

Hi Mystic, I'd like to thank Nagato and all of the other people working on that project, I didn't use Home that much at the time but I really liked the idea. This is great. It's really sad that Sony doesn't bring back that on PS4 and 5.
I was a closed beta tester during the earliest stages of home, it was amazing, I made so many friends and jumped in daily just to talk and hang out I was happy to see it get so big although they removed things like proximity voice chat. Watching this video made me smile a lot, thank you ryan!

Didn’t they take it down because it was losing them money? I get they have money but at a certain point if something isn’t making money it isn’t worth continuing. Though, we live in different times and something like this cooooould work, but now they’d be going into a saturated market. But I believe there isn’t anything like this on PS4 or PS5 so it would be open on that front.

mw2 multiplayer is still active on ps3. i still hop on and find a lobby in under 2min

Playstation would shit on meta if they revived home and made it vr ready. The service was ahead of its time and I still remember it fondly. It’s amazing to see fans keep it alive.

Very cool, I specifically remember the bowling alley being absolutely packed along with pretty much everywhere else. It was a lot of fun and gave me a glimpse of what my social life would’ve been like if I wasn’t an awkward shut-in loser.
I only experienced playstation home for a couple of days before it was shut down. Its truly fascinating to see this. Great video as always Mystic.
I loved PlayStation Home, I miss it so much. It felt like a great place for people to come together, times have sure changed since the PS3 days when online gaming was just kicking off.
This is why I love the homebrew community. Everyone that's bringing it back is awesome

This is insane. ❤️ i remember i got on playstation home so much i became beyond popular in a sense of people knowing who you are no matter which hangout spot you went to. it became so addictive pshome was my home. from the people to the clothes, the hanging out spots, the dances the cool "2000's" music themes, the items (and when i say items i mean spending 500 and up just to have all the items u want.) and or being in "a clan" or a "cool persons only club" having all the coolest apartments. i'm glad to see playstation 3 home is back. i loved every single second of it and i'll never take back any of those late night memories i stayed up playing it. even the late mornings. 😂 this will forever be apart of my heart and i'm always gonna support it.
Wild! was just thinking about this last week. Maybe if this gets enough traction, Sony might see this and actually bring it back

I really hope it does. Like genuinely. Not up for the metaverse junk, but i have a lot of fond memories of this slice of life style, mini game filled world before VR chat became a thing.
One thing that I remember from PlayStation home is…. Halloween event! When we had to go inside a hunted hospital and there was a long line. As we get closer to the front, we hear people screaming and laughing and it was so fun when I had my turn. Imagine if it was VR

This takes me back to 2009 to 2012. Those were the times when I was most active in Playstation Home on my PS3. Good times. Anyone else remember using Folding At Home on the PS3 back then? I like the music that plays when just leaving my PS3 on when doing something else. I've met a few friends on Playstation Home. I wonder how they're doing now.
if you have a PlayStation 4 or a PlayStation 5 you could get nebula realms for free it’s similar to PlayStation home
@@patzillathekilla8444 I've heard of that. I haven't tried it yet though. I might check it out sometime in the future. I'm just reminiscing about PS Home and all the online friends I've met there. I remember going bowling a lot there.
The different video game spaces were so cool, and I LOVED getting all the different notifications saying I acquired an item, and LOVED decorating my home with all the stuff I got, it was so cool and fun!👌🏻

I was so sad when i logged in to see they dropped home i didnt have a clue it was happening and just like that gone. I was there sisnce the start to the end enteracting with everyon on there all the time. Makes me wosh i was a kid again enjoying all the things that made me happy

Hi Mystic, I'd like to thank Nagato and all of the other people working on that project, I didn't use Home that much at the time but I really liked the idea. This is great. It's really sad that Sony doesn't bring back that on PS4 and 5.
I was a closed beta tester during the earliest stages of home, it was amazing, I made so many friends and jumped in daily just to talk and hang out
I was happy to see it get so big although they removed things like proximity voice chat.

I’m a donator of cache data so I’m in line for the beta. Can’t wait. Home has such a big place in my heart and it’s amazing to see it back. Sony was smoking crack taking this down. My god 2010-2013 was so fun cause of home. Nostalgic high school days.

Didn’t they take it down because it was losing them money? I get they have money but at a certain point if something isn’t making money it isn’t worth continuing. Though, we live in different times and something like this cooooould work, but now they’d be going into a saturated market. But I believe there isn’t anything like this on PS4 or PS5 so it would be open on that front.
