Really good pace steve you had me shaking in some moments I was p1 In the World with not the fastest car on this combo the mustang and because of that I tried to race different cars and try and hold on and win and was an enjoyable experience even though some cars were complete boats.
Because of you I gave the Mustang a try and I find the car surprisingly good to drive and felt very rewarding getting the exits right with that amount of BHP the car has compare to the Porsche.
SuperGT made me subscribe to your channel. You two guys are now my favorite GT channels.
I use to follow someone else but there's something fishy there... strange justice I would say

I think this is one of the only channels that I've watched for so many years, is so relaxing and intense at the same time. Brings a feeling of comfort and familiarity that is indescribable. I never thought i would ever find a good enough racing channels that sticks with me, but here im. Im glad you still doing this wonderful work Steve, thank you.
I never liked sport mode , the pressure of trying to drive fast and not bump or collide with anyone was too much for me , I never used it in gt sport but I've recently been using it in gt7 , I'm up to DR: B with a SR of S . Sport mode definitely gets my heart pumping, and I love it . I feel awful whenever I make a mistake and ruin someone else's race because of it . And it's the worst when they call you out for your mistake, but you don't have time to explain yourself in the chat before they leave .
How long did it take you to get to B? I've only done like a handful. My thoughts on sport mode are similar to yours.

Quick tip don’t set a quali time, just keep practicing on the track and retry before the line. When you go for the actual race you only need to gain 5 positions to improve your DR rating 👍🏼

I can only hop into sport mode a couple times a week, it's great fun but so intense. Still D-rated but a nice S safety rating. So far my issue is consistency, I think I end up ruining my own race with a dumb moment more than I wreck it for someone else. It's usually easy to tell who's racing dirty and who made a mistake.

Saw some livestream of another player the other day. wind was in there as well, was on this track. so were you. Wind was telling the guy he was just trying out different cars for fun.. all the while winning each race. Crazy fast that guy.

I won my first online race today on Race A. It seems when the required car is not a race car people seem to forget how to drive completely!

I don't play, but how is the drifting mechanic in GT7? It seems some of those corners you'd really want to break lose in. Maybe you do. I know you're always on the edge cause you can spin out so easy. Great job, beautiful driving. Much props. o/

I love watching people play these nice clean races. Unfortunately, I'm reminded that when I race I do not experience this and the first thing people do is ram me into the wall, get me a penalty and then they get to win.
Nice lap times! I also used the Porsche as I’m practicing for the manufacturer cups on Thursday. You are right you gotta get them corners perfect or you are too slow on the exit or put power down too quick and spin out. My fastest was 55.01 so not great but did manage to win 2 and 5 top 5 finishes.
I wish there was a cockpit view from right in front of the steering wheel like Forza has/had.

This race was my first 3rd in sport mode, I only just started last week so my dr is still d and my sr b I’m working on it tho and had a damn good race

Your stats are better than mine. 532 races with 41 wins. At least 383 have been top 5 finishes, so I take comfort in that. Ha ha

Asking out of curiosity; when qualifying, couldn't you take a really wide line through the last corner and even zig-zag along the straight in order to maximize the distance travelled under full throttle and therefore increase your speed by a few crucial kilometers per hour as you cross the start line?
I sometimes do this when time trialing in GT6 because it seems logical and feels like it sets you up nicely for the following lap, but I never really, actually tested it to see if it makes any difference.
Taking a different line through the final corner can certainly help. I think weaving probably wonn't really help as you're scrubbing speed by not going straight.
I believe the proper saying is if you're gonna lose, lose to the best!

no touchy touchy.
Then I get put into the super fast lobbies that I have a hard time competing in.
So I get frustrated then accidentally / on purpose
I go smashy smashy.
Then my SR goes down.

Then I'm put back into lobbies that I can win.
Kinda of silly, I know.
But I do have close to 600 race victories.
593 to be exact.

If I brake where you brake in that first corner I’m going wide…I have pedals and wheel but I just can’t seem to get the car to slow down enough! Plus if I go tight to the hairpin the car gets unbalanced and rotates and spins out…I’m at 44.6 with the manual RSR
Try braking in a straighter line initially, then as you head into the corner you come off the brakes slightly. It sounds to me like you're perhaps overworking the brake pedal and the steering angle.
@@Super_GT I’ve got it down to 44.3…it seems if I came off the pedal slightly it stops better. You make it look very easy bud 👍👍
I saw another RUclipsrs race where you were in the same on and to went side to side through the fast chicane and ended up in the wall. Where was the video lol..
