    Oil does not hydrate. You have to use water or something water based. Oils seal.

    Thank you sir. I just got my 3rd set of braids in 5 weeks. No wonder my hair fell out. The braids looked good still but i wanted a different style. I got the two braids going around my head as the first and third set and second set was a 4 braid with a zigzag split. I really do like this 2 braid sytle. I appreciate the info. Would castor oil be good? I use it on my beard. If not ill grab one of those two.

    Is it better to wash natural hair with hot or cold water? I’ve heard a lot of contradicting information thus far and I was wondering what your thoughts were! For the first time in my life I have natural hair. I started my natural hair journey almost 3 years ago and I have 4a hair.

    • @str8rippi
      @str8rippi Год назад +1

      Both... Hot water opens up the hair cuticles & cold water closes them. So it's better to shampoo & condition your hair with hot water but then use cold water when you're done to rinse it off.

    Hey Kozact so I’m getting my hair braided again on the 30th of this month but it will be in officially a month on the 19th of this month . So should I take it out on the 22nd to let my hair rest before my next braid appointment?

    • @kozact
      @kozact  Год назад +2

      Yes, taking them out on the 19th or the 22nd will give your hair a full week’s worth of rest in its natural form. And your hair should be ready to be put in a protective style again. 🙌🏾

    • @str8rippi

      No it's better NOT to dilute it at all. Just use it as is. Water & oil don't mix

    Your hair will grow regardless of what you do to it or what you put on it. If you shaved your head and only shampooed and conditioned it, your hair would still brow back.
