I'm so proud of him and some darling person below called him Viking. In Sweden we have song in our harts. We sing since the moment we are born. We sing in school, in choirs (we have most choirs per capita in the world). We sing at parties, dinners and all holidays and feasts. We sing songs from the 1800 century all the years up to modern songs. We have a strong tradition in folksongs and troubadours and musicals. Not only pop. But I bet the Vikings sang. Take a look at Peter Jöback in a musical by Björn and Benny "guldet blev till sand" chose the one with eng.subtitles Tommy Körberg "anthem" from Chess and our latest wonderchild Zara Larsson "love me land" video, pop. This all is the reason of the swedish pop wonder. Love you for this Viking. I've met him and he's big.💞
I loved how he had a small tinge of grit near the end yet it was so soft and light. You can hear it on "fallen" at 3:58 and it just adds so much impact. As you said. "bare minimum but max effect"

I'm so sorry but a big part of my last comment on Chris Kläfford just disappeared. I love and absolutely adore him. 2017 he won swedish idol. I voted for him every Friday and the competition he met where all good, talented popstars. He really did something that nobody believed would happen. He won over all these popstars and talented singers. If you liked Imagine on AGT. Look at the performance on swedish idol of Imagine. Just search swedish idol 2017, his name and imagine. I love him. And I'm a Swede of course.💕

Check out his singles on Spotify and the rest of his covers. Chris can just flat out PLAY. He did a live concert in May in his kitchen. With just himself and his guitar. It blew me away so.much that I have watched it 5 times :)
One of the performances where one could do so much with so little and affect me to the nth degree. He was missing most of it, but then with flip into head voice from there. Was also kind of speak singing a lot of it. I appreciated the way he would just end certain phrases, without really sustaining are using vibrato. Just getting the message across. And it just sounded so simple and beautiful.
He is from Sweden and it is actually a very Swedish way of singing songs. There are also a couple of places where you can hear traditional Swedish folk song turns and flips. Chris sings to make the song shine, he doesn't use the song to make himself shine.
