So I saw him live once, in a bar menu, many years ago, long before he was a name in Sweden. He's evolved hugely since.

No, sorry, that's not how to properly pronounce it. 😁 You must be from the south of Sweden because that's the only place it's pronounced the first way. Chris himself doesn't pronounce it that way. Him and the rest of the country are far closer to the second pronounciation.
An ä is an a with the devil horns... I like that, that sounds metal as fuck; which fits Sweden.

I would easily say he did this song better than Chris Stapleton. So much feeling put into it.
He tries too hard to sing the original EXACTLY the way Stapleton did and he doesnt have Stapleton's vocal abilities. Really good singer but not in the same league as Stapleton but then again very few are.
