Very interesting! I’ve just started full time in my van,m for the last month. young like you guys too, I’m 18! And my outgoing are around £300-400 the last month, so not far off either but that’s not including insurance either as I payed up front. I think fuel is my biggest expense being around £200 a month because my van is expensive to run being old around 18mpg 😅 also driving around wales at the moment which kills mpg even more😂
Wow that’s amazing!!! I’m nearly 30 so not so young any more but it makes me so happy that you’re doing this at 18 😍 For fuel I guess it depends how much you drive :) when I worked this out we weren’t driving much but this week we are driving from Italy to the UK, so much more expensive 😆 Wales is so beautiful!! I hope your loving it 😍
@@sheisthelostgirl haha well you were when you started😁 yeah I do about 600 miles a month. I also meant to say, as you said in the video 2 people defo makes in better for splitting the cost!
Very interesting Betty. Can't wait to see what Albania is like. I'm travelling through your eyes 🤗 Also what are the diesel prices like from country to country? I'm interested to know😁 Oh and is it easy to get hold of organic veg in the countries you're traveling through? Xx
Hehe thank you!!’ Well Albania is full of litter but other than that very beautiful! Lots of stray animals! It’s also pretty expansive! The fuel is so expensive and because someone puts the diesel in for you it’s hard to not get scammed :( No organic veg here at all! It’s all just little stalls on the side of the road but the veg is just potato, peppers and onion! We got so excited when we saw a cabbage the other day!! :)
You said about vehicle tax, I was under the impression in Europe you don’t need road tax just like you don’t need a mot to drive in Europe or am I completely wrong?
Thanks for watching :) for us the cost is about the same for UK van life 😀 probably cheaper actually because we drive less, don’t eat out and don’t spend on activities :) Yes all the things we buy come under the groceries category, I should have mentioned 😀😊
stop promoting Netflix there is free streaming websites and everyone uses adblock on RUclips trying to get rich from RUclips is a waist of time and stop promoting travel insurance £35 a month is a rip off
I’m not “promoting” anything, just documenting a day in my life, which I happened to watch Netflix. I’m not trying to get rich from RUclips, I already make a living online and I’m happy with my job, RUclips is a hobby ✨ And yes when I’m full time on the road I pay £35 on my nomad insurance, which keeps me protected. Thanks for watching 😉
Wow , impressive ! We've been living in ours full time for 4 months now and our expenses are at least double yours ! 🤣
Ahh no way!!! Is there something in particular that you spend more on if you don’t mind me asking? I find it so interesting! :)
Very useful and interesting video on how you both live. Thank you very much beth!!❤
Thanks for the break down of the costs 🤗
Thank you for watching ;) :) x
Love all your videos 🥰
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Hi! Can you share your travel insurance E provider please as currently looking for some recommendations? Thank you!
Hi, of course :) We use Sterling Insurance :) Its been brilliant!
Well, that’s nothing. In switzerland, even a crappy room to rent is more than that:/ thx for sharing
You said about vehicle tax, I was under the impression in Europe you don’t need road tax just like you don’t need a mot to drive in Europe or am I completely wrong?
to be honest I dont really know :) I'm just playing it safe and having it anyway :)
very interesting! def less than renting a house. Do you have videos about how you built your van?
Thank you!!! :) we made this guide for the van build 🙌🏼 with a 3K budget so it’s nice and cheap friendly :) bit.ly/30Ru4Dj
@@sheisthelostgirl cheap! but I meant an actual video story of how to build it, you know what I mean? Like Ikea instructions 🤣
Haha I totally forgot to put the actual link 🤣🤣 it’s here: bit.ly/30Ru4Dj
@@sheisthelostgirl ahahahahaah well, thanks now!
It looks like it’s cheaper to live in a van in Europe than the uk ! Do you include things like toiletries, bin bags etc with your food spend ? 😎🌞
Thanks for watching :) for us the cost is about the same for UK van life 😀 probably cheaper actually because we drive less, don’t eat out and don’t spend on activities :)

That’s less then I thought:)

if only rich people can live in vans what do people think Irish travellers are.
