You can't control the fans. You can control how the players interact with each other. Causing bodily harm is not acceptable. Also, Refs need to be held accountable.

The announcers never mentioned the eye poke during the game. Just crickets

How many basketball players play armed with long claw hammer nails, long eyelashes looking like a broken Chuckie doll, and fancy outfits like going to a fashion show ramp. It is inconvenient to play basketball in such attire. She was prepared to stab Caitlin into the eyes which is an assault as she could permanently blind an opponent. The WNBA and Fever management should investigate this as it could happen to other players. It is not about being racist, it is not about fashion but it is about FAIR GAME. It can affect their organization and they should hire referees with good eyesight. They should suspend the culprit as it is an assault punishable with a maximum of 10 years and a penalty. If the management wants to improve their following, they should not blame the fans. Fans colored black, white, brown, yellow & pink know basketball and understand what is happening. STOP TALKING ABOUT RACISM BUT START CLEANING THE ACTORS AND PRODUCE A FAIR GAME.

There must be an " Injury timeout " and a foul. But nothing happen... That is disgusting and disappointing...

Do the experts wear thick glasses? The obvious poke has been broken down frame by frame. The long nails have been exposed as a danger in the game. What platform do we have to stand on for the experts to acknowledge that it isn't just about CC but every players safety.

On the streets the nails are used for a weapon. Why are they allowed in professional basketball? The professional part is what is in question. Professional officials make professional calls. Continuous bad calls are made by questionable people calling it or not calling fouls etc What comes to mind is the gambling and point spreads involved in pro games. No game doesn't have its share of corruption. A few factors are involved and make me suspicious of how the WNBA operates.
