Nobody gave a sh** about NBA until Jordan scored 63 points against Byrd in April '86. Ever since, ppl have watched NBA. I didn't give a sh** about womens NCAA til I heard of CC. Now the only (the ONLY) reason I watch WNBA is because is CC. People like exceptional performance. Period.

They don't understand that she can make a great pass and if they aren't looking or ready (which hopefully they will in time) that the turnover goes to her. In 4:55 timeline, you mentioned how she plays with a ton of emotion. There is another video angle from behind the basket. If you watch it in slow motion, Caitlin was backing up, turned and accidentally bumped into the front of that player #35. 35 gave a quick jab towards Caitlin's throat. That's what triggered Caitlin's emotion.
All these wonderful compliments and attention from powerful men is causing jealousy from other players.

She's great, may be the best women's collegiate player ever, but college isn't the pros. The WNBA doesn't have a lot of top players now, and Caitlin rarely seems to get challenged in her game. Just runs to the basket and scores with easy shots, or makes a jumper, no defense to stop her. Averaging 16 ppg isn't great either for a pro player. I do like her as a player, but I don't think she's reached a high level yet as a pro.
She's definitely bring attention to the league and Women's basketball in general.

Im kinda disappointed in Reggie. He had to fight the "small market" stigma his whole career. So you'd think he would see past the hype to the real talent. Maybe his remarks were to try and protect her from the pressure a bit, in a backhand way. Ive always thought of him as an all around good guy, except for his trash talking.
Well it finally looks like everyone is starting to play the game at the same speed Caitlin is at. Before it was like she was at 78rpm and the rest were at 33rpm. Passes were hitting people in the hands and they couldn't handle them. Caitlin would get the ball and start heading down court and they would try and follow. The now understand what gun and run means. It's fun watching a plan come together.

She's learning this year and I guarantee in the off season she's going to watch a ton of film, workout and gain some weight so she doesn't get bounced around all the time, and keep shooting and shooting. She's going to be the number one player in the league for many years. Plus there's so much going on that she can't control, and she doesn't want all this pressure and focus on her. And if they put her on the Olympic team there would be many, many other players pissed off and upset. Feeling like she was put on the team just because she's Caitlin Clark and not because of her basketball play. It's a a crazy decision

I am a fan of CC since her IOWA days i always admire her game, but coming to the fever, man, shes not moving in offense if she doesnt have a ball. Cmon, she got to adapt to the fever game system. Every guard there handles the ball, if she doesnt have the ball on offense she got to move and create space for her team mates, girl should run, emulate steph30 finding his spot without the ball, instead of staying on one location waiting for the ball to come to her.

I need to go look at the stats and player rankings but I keep hearing some people talk about how she wasn't put on the Olympic team becasue she isn't one of the top players in the league. Then I keep hearing about her scoring exploits every single game. Game after game of points, rebounds, assists, blocks - it makes her look like she's the VERY BEST player in the whole damn WBNA - so what is the truth? The WNBA's hope is Angel Reese would be the super star. Angel's game play has been outstanding, but she doesn't have the fame and public support that Caitlin does. If Angel had been the college female that broke the all time points record and had scored 41 points in the LSU vs Iowa game she would have been the #1 draft pick and signed a big pay day with Nike.
