All respect to Caitlyn Clark, she is as exciting and dominant a player in her league as you will see, but she would have no shot in the NBA. Even with a lights out jumper she would struggle with the sheer speed/pace. Even Jimmer Fredette, who plays similar to Clark in many ways, struggled in the league despite having crazy range.

Well, the ratings just came out for her last game on ESPN and it was seen by 10 MILLION PEOPLE! That beats almost every NBA Finals game the last 3 years prior to Golden State/Celtics.

People don't understand that the limiting factor for taking the "next step" (like like High school to College, DII to DI, Semi-pro to pro, Euro to NBA) is RARELY ever a person's ability to score or play offense. It's ALWAYS defense and your ability to stay healthy with the physicality. I've yet to see a woman who could physically compete with men at the highest levels. Their bodies would just simply not hold up (not to mention they wouldn't be able to guard ANYONE). Offensively, sure. Maybe there's a handful of females who could get a few buckets in an NBA (maybe). But it would just be silly overall because they'd get 50+ dropped on them every night and they'd probably suffer pretty significant injuries within a couple weeks.

Not only that, a woman might be the same weight but she will have more of that weight as fat than the guy even when they are both elite athletes so again, the guy will be much much stronger. Okay...one little thing you'd have decide on. Would Caitlyn have to use the current NBA ball? You constantly hear how much better at shooting the ball women are...but that's with a one inch smaller ball while using the same hoop which ultimately means a significantly increase in space for the ball to go in.

Yall can't lie. It would be nice to see a coed league. Yes, ik men majority would dominate. But, have an equal number of men and women on all teams. This would force women to either play better if they have something to prove or if they want a bigger contract. For the men, it would be a new challenge, teammate wise. Integrating them into the faster playspeed.
Given all that....I still wouldn't replace the NBA for it. It would just be an interesting division to see.

The reason the NBA games were beaten by the women's NCAA it's because the women's game has passion in it right now at the NCAA level drama of the tournament plus the passion of beating higher ranked teams and seeing previously unknowns on top of the world. There are no more underdogs in the NBA we know absolutely everything about every player due to social media and the internet itself. However the league is also responsible for this the game has gotten soft and I understandnobody wants to see players injured due to hard fouls but I'm sure we can all agree we miss the good hard fouls. Rivalries are gone and so is the passion those rivalries bring to the game. We are now depending on gambling to give passion back to the game and while it does help especially with fantasy league it does not bring the same intensity as city versus city team versus team fan base versus fan base. If the league does not learn from this it will only get worse and as we watch the game that we love become more gimmick than pure game you can't help but to worry that the quality will continue to get worse. We need our good guys versus bad guys like the old west film where an evil Tyrant runs amok until the old Gunslinger comes out of retirement or hiding to bring peace back to the people. We need that in just about everything we need someone to root for as much as we need someone to root against otherwise the product becomes so Bland that no one wants to watch it.

Yes Clark can probably shoot better than Andre Roberson but Andre isn’t even on the floor to shoot. If the nba was all the best shooters there would be like 40 year old dudes that are amazing at arcade games. These guys are the best compiled groups of ballers in the world and if you’re not in the league, it’s most likely cuz you can’t be.
