As a Nike stock owner, I'm not happy.
I could say that Nike is woke and shady, and that Aja Wilson is borderline unlikable...but many of us already knew that. I mean..Kate Martin for God's sake had more jersey sales than Aja. Let that sink in. However Caitlin on the other hand has to start being more ruthless in this business IMO. She comes off to me as a very loyal person who wants to do what's fair regardless of whether it comes at the detriment of her own personal gain. Unfortunately, I think she will learn that type of loyalty will only get you taken advantage of in the business of basketball. CC really needs to sit down with LeBron and Jordan and learn how to be more ruthless and hold others accountable in the business of basketball if she wants to be a billionaire one day soon.

Without knowing the exact terms of the contract, anything is possible. But lawyers thrive on making and breaking contracts. I'm sure that Caitlin has very good lawyers and she will be able to get out of a poor contract, or at the least renegotiate to get better terms. I don't think we really need to worry about her.
