Hey guys, just want to say as someone that’s lost both parents I understand the emotions you are going through. Even in your darkest days just by sharing your life and story the healing you provide us watchers of the channel is beautiful and I’m so thankful. You guys have beautiful souls and I wish you all the love in the world. Bisous xxx
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment. We really appreciate your words and we are glad to hear you appreciate our transparency in that respect. All the best to you too!
Loves the soft Sand!! We run the same aircon unit in our van and find at full load its drawing upwards of 125Amps! we have tested it and ran it for 6 odd hours in full sun and we weren't flat ( I reckon 7-8 hours till fully flat) but the issues lies when you run out of sun after you run it all day and you still need enough juice in the batteries to keep the fridges and things running all night haha so for us we will run it in the morning so we still have plenty of time to replenish like you said Ange! I reckon 9.3T! Great episode guys!
Thinking of you both. I lost my Dad all of 40 years ago and still have those moments... But remember, life is to be lived and you living your lives to the max is the best gift you can ever give your Dads. Lots of love, Andrew
Great video. Enjoyed that. Can relate to the 43° day having been in similar situations camping. While it sounds great, it can be debilitating after a few hours. Unlike you, we didn’t have Aircon. Great to see back on the road.
I think had seen a canoe at one time where you Ange and Chris, would paddle at some meters off the coast where Chris would fish snorkel... I think the truck is weighting around 7.000 kilometers. It seems that you are enjoying your truck at its fullest and that is great guys.....Cheers
Hey guys I reckon the mog is 6.5 tons with water tank full. Have you ever thought about a cloth mozzy net on the door? That's all we use on our camper so we don't have the door in constant use. From Ikea, about $10 for a pack of 2. Great video as always 👍
Thanks Ange for all your running ahead, filming and setting up cameras for the mog to drive over. Creates a really cool video. They always weigh more than you think Mog 9327kg
Get some expansion solar panels you can place on the floor, you want enough solar panel capacity to maintain the batteries with the aircon on, that way you can run the aircon all day if need be and keep the camper and yourself cool.
I love watching these type of videos where I am from. It has been a long Winter and it always looks good to see some sunshine and beautiful blue waves. Thank you Chris and Ange. From your Canadian friend Up North. Keep following your nose Chris and Ange!
It's such a different experience than with the Jeep! We are so happy to finally be back on the road with the Mog :) thank you as always for your comments!
I knew something was missing... Late but sure (...and Sad but True as well). Always something quite unexpected to watch. ¡¡Pura Vida!! Peace from a country with no army to everyone out there.
Wonderful ep you guys, considering everything going on you're smashing it. The quality of your content is just unbelievable, the scenery is stunning. Well done to you both - we hope things continue to improve for you. ✌❤💪
Hope your Dad is doing much better Ange! We love watching you both and the places you explore. Our kids loved watching the little crab with his octopus dinner. Our guess for the comp is 7750kg 🤞🏻
a) Oregon -- 2003, we converted a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle. Cummins 505ci, Allison 3060. . Nearly two decades full-time live-aboard. GVWR -- 29,000#. Weight across the scale 14,050#. . I imagine your rig is probably a ton heavier. . b) I appreciate your black-out video breaks between vignettes.
Hey you two. Really enjoying viewing your current south coast expedition adventures. Congrats on hitting the 40K subs milestone! No surprise really. Your vids are a dose of sunshine in crazy times. I reckon it spreads joy, seeing your love of WA's beautiful natural environment come across on camera. I'm no Esperance local, more like a frequent visitor, but I do know this, for when you get there. Best local coffee in town is found in the Coffee Cat caravan down by the Old Wharf jetty. Hands down. You probably already found it by now and moved on again.. ;-) Travel safe.
8.050 t. Could you please explain how you plan where you are going, process of booking camp sites (how long in advance), free camping in WA possibilities (especially on the beaches), avoiding crowds, etc, etc???
Fabulous video once again. Loving the drone shots. All the best to your Dad, Ange, hoping he has a speedy recovery. 🙏🏻🌻 I’m guessing the weight of your Unimog is 74985kgs. .
Great video again. Glad your dad is getting better, keep your chin up, looks like you have supported each other through some tough times so good on you both. I'm in the UK but I still want to have a guess at the Mogs weight for fun so im using British weights 10ton 20 pounds.
I would imagine having the sun beat down on the top of your cabin would heat it up a lot - perhaps consider putting some kind of reflective coat on the top of the box or cabin?
Love The drone footage Ange. You’re doing an awesome job with it now. I feel for you with your dad not being well. Hope he heals quickly. My guess on the weight of Bowser is 7568kg
Loving the scenery and the adventure guys, loved watching the build and now even better watching you guys back on the road, I’ll put my guess in at 7645kg
Another great episode guys. The coastline looks magic 🤙. Great footage. Nice to see you smiling again Chris. Best wishes to your Dad Ange... My guess for the mog is 7245kg 🤞
Another great production. It's got see you guys traveling again. We're very lucky here in the South West, Great Southern well, the whole of WA for that matter. Awesome scenery. You guys are a real inspiration. I reckon your mog sits at around 9450kg.
My guess for the total weight of the Mog (AKA Bowser - hope I spelt that right) would be 8165 Kg. Absolutely loving your channel and being able to enjoy the wonderful places you visit through your awesome content. Great drone shots and the underwater content adds a dimension that most of us will never experience. Hoping you make your way back up the east coast one day and that you might host a meet & greet - would be wonderful to be able to meet you both face to face. All the best in your travels, and hope you can get some respite from the emotions involved with being isolated from your families.
Hey Chris and Ange - Another great episode! I couldn't find any comments to say who the lucky winner was, or the final weight? Maybe an update in comments would be worthwhile. I'm working on our mog (melb) and basing our build similar to you guys - lots of good info in your channel - thanks!
Hey guys congrats on the 40 K subscribers keep up the great work but if you could put that location that you were in in the description or in the video that would be great. I think the mog is 6.8 t
Another great video guys. Im guessing the loaded weight is 9800kg The truck must be around 6.5 tonne tare, add the body and interior, plus fuel, water, food etc, I cant see how it can weight much less than my guess Im currently planning a Hino 817 build and once you start to add in all the goodies you'd like to carry, the weight adds up fast
great episode guys. Thanks for taking us along. I don't have insta so ill place my guess here for the weight of the Mog..6450kg. see you next time and thankyou Enerdrive and You guys for your generosity.
Hey guys great ep can’t wait for more great travels. Have you thought about showing a map of WA/Aust and whereabouts you are roughly? My guess for the mog weight is 6777.7. Cheers 🥂
If the MOG does have a generator, it would be worth replacing with a alternator, alternators are much more efficient and offer a much bigger output size for size.
have been following you virtually from the start. You have taken things off and put things on so just looking at the unit as it stands with what you have in it now I am guessing .... 14150 KGs
I don’t care for the beach at all living in the north coast of the United States but the two of have opened my eyes to a beautiful coast line and love the adventures you have taken me on. Why would you leave the cost if it’s full of fish?
We still have many coastal adventures to come :) but at some stage we also want to explore the other states and a bit of inland terrain and deserts. Thank you for following along David!

Another entertaining video. The photography is just brilliant. Is Ange furthering her Mog driving experience. Magic locations. Thank you for sharing.
Great video. Enjoyed that. Can relate to the 43° day having been in similar situations camping. While it sounds great, it can be debilitating after a few hours. Unlike you, we didn’t have Aircon. Great to see back on the road.

Your drone footage of the dolphins in particular is award winning guys....awesome!
