I think Fenix (at Toverland) and Flug der Dämonen (at Heide Park) are pretty underrated. Fenix is very intense with high g-forces and Flug der Dämonen has unique inversions
Inma say something controversial. The B&M that suits my taste the most is honestly Montu at BGT and I’m blessed to say BGT is my home park since I moved.
I've done silver star in the winter and that thing was hauling so fast, all trimless... all camelbacks had flowjector and the midcourse had 2 fucked ejector moments and the helix drop has an insane ejector moment
I wish they had the trims off when I was there a week ago. It was a great ride but would be even better with the trims off. Being from the US who knows if I'll ever get back there to ride it again.
I suspect a lot of the older B&Ms from the 90s are going to reach the same fate getting a full retrack soon if parks want to keep them around another 20+ years.
It's great to see some love finally given to Raging Bull!! It's a great coaster and best hyper first drop. I totally agree with your number 1 as well. However I think the OG Batman deserves a mention in this list. To me it just seems more intense than its clones and rivals Montu (equally). It's also the first Invert, the coaster that kinda made BnM famous.
I believe gatekeeper and falcon, fenix in the netherlands are tied and maybe even fenix who takes the W. also, considering, also if you're considering theming for dive coasters take baron 1889 but the ride itself isn't amazing
Kumba and hulk. Yes. But montu will always be my favorite inverts are also my fav type of coaster. 90s coaster so so smooth smoother than most coasters even much newer model's
I’ve been on flying dinosaur and tatsu and I still think tatsu has two things over flying dinosaur which I feel make it more unique the pretzel loop is insane the one on dinosaur isn’t close to the tatsu one and the fact that tatsus layout goes through the mountains that magic mountain has it flies so high from the ground that it’s awesome best night ride in the park and it’s not close
That's sweet you've ridden both, very few people can say that. Tatsu is a true terrain coaster on the mountain, so I bet the drops and the pretzel loop like you said are amazing!
Rankings (only includes ones I have ridden - which leaves off Montu/Kumba and all those outside NA) 1. Fury 2. Orion 3. Diamond Back 4. Banshee 5. Nitro 6 Leviathan 7.Griffon 8. Valravn 9. Hey no worries and thanks for the support! You'll work up the courage to do them someday. I have a video I put out on Halloween about overcoming your fear of rollercoasters if you're interested. You may find some good tips in it.
Flying Dinosaur is a great ride. It is one of my 4 B&M credits, and is the best out of them. My only complain about the ride is its crazy long line, and the fact that you cannot choose your row.
@@coasterEV Nope when i rode it, it actually wasn't that bad, 30-40 min, in single rider line you can even get to about 5-15 min when I was there, great operations too. Got to ride it many times, absolutely amazing ride.
I was at USJ last month during a weekday and it was still a long wait time. I preferred Acrobat at Nagashima Spa Land which for some reason had no line at all and is a smoother, more graceful experience. But The Flying Dinosaur stands out more since it's not a clone model and since it is so massive. I'm not sure that headache inflicting loop is all that pleasurable though. That part also felt more fun at Acrobat. But my favourite B&M on this trip was actually Pyrenees. What a sweet ride that was! Worth the lenghty side trip to Shima.
Say what you want about dive coasters, but they are capacity monsters. A 30 person car. It keeps a lot of GP off of, or distracted from, the most thrilling coasters.
That's a great point and they should be capacity monsters as long as a park employee is properly filling the rows. I've waited in a 90 minute line for Valravn at Cedar Point before and saw every train go out only half full because the ride op wasn't doing their job well.
Wonderful video but I too am on this coaster page and am getting POV's of many rides across America. I'd reserve opinions for guys like coaster studios, El Toro Ryan and airtime thrills who have actually ridden these coasters you speak of. Banshee is the best invert I've been on to date because it's the newest of the batch. 👍🤷
Orion is my favorite b&m favorite b&m ride models inverted and giga/hyper biggest bucket list Fury325 underrated intimidator is because of its trim but I view it as just fine
I’ve ridden all of these except Falcon and Flying Dinosaur-I should pick up the latter next year. I think your list is missing Black Mamba at Phantasialand and Baron 1850 at Efteling. Black Mamba has great theming and is a standout invert-second to Nemesis on my list. The theming and storyline on Baron are fabulous as is the drop into the mine. My favorites aside from those are Leviathan, Shambhala, and Diamondback. Every time someone complains about the rattle on Diamondback I just have to laugh a little-because it’s a rattlesnake coaster.
Thank you for your insight, that's awesome you have been on so many of these! It's hard to rank them without having ridden some of them, Black Mamba's and Baron's lackluster stats are what made me pass them up but thank you for bringing them to my attention. I laugh about the Diamondback rattle comment too, it's all part of the theming haha.
I’ve only been on leviathan behemoth and Yukon striker but I want to try so many more. Leviathan is the most fun out of the 3 but Yukon has the best drop. Behemoth is fun but not as smooth
ive only ridden one b&m hyper which was Nitro. if people really say that its one of the best hypers, then b&m hypers just arent for me 😂 i felt no airtime on any hill but the 2nd to last one and besides the helix, everything is so drawn out that you just feel nothing. its not like it was cold and running slow either. because it was mid august
Ive been on 5 b&m hypers and thought they basically all were more or less the same… kinda just meanders with floater not intense idk i actually prefer the inverts
I thought Raging Bull would suck but it ended up being better than Nitro and even Leviathan IMO, but I didn't like it as much as I like Behemoth. I've only ridden 4 B&M hypers so I can only go by what I know. Nitro is a tall, fast, scenic and long ride. Then when I went to SFGA I 1st rode Raging Bull in the middle car 1st and was surprised to find airtime during the twisted drop after the 1st camelback, which is an element I wouldn't expect to get airtime in the back car let alone the middle! In fact: there are SEVEN airtime moments on Raging Bull: 1: drop; 2: 1st camelback; 3: following "twisted" drop: 4: drop off the MCBR; 5: post MCBR camelback; 6: drop into the twister section: 7: last dip before turning up left into the EBR. They're all forceful and there are also positive gs from the twister elements as well. Raging Bull is best in the back row but is still good anywhere in the back third of the train. Of the 4 B&M hypers I'ver ridden: Nitro and Leviathan tie in 3rd place; Raging Bull comes in 2nd place and Behemoth comes in 1st place. My guess is that I'd like Diamondback and Fury 325 better than any other B&M hyper. BTW I think few people think Jersey Devil is better than Nitro. B&M dive coasters aren't my favourite but Yukon Striker is the best I've ridden (the only other two being Valravn and Oblivion) and Griffon is the largest with the OTSRs. OTSRs are usually my least favourite restraint but they're beloved on Dive coasters because of the hold before the drop which prevents the possibility of ejector airtime, and the head banging OTSRs might otherwise do in that situation. Besides: most of the layout of a major dive coaster is POSITIVE gs during all of it's ride time duration except the two drops (which contradicts the unfair "one trick pony" reputation B&M dive coasters have been unfairly saddled with) I've ridden three B&M wing coasters: Gatekeeper, Swarm And X-Flight. Of those three: Gatekeeper is my favourite. In fact: Gatekeeper was my third favourite coaster at Cedar Point after Steel Vengeance and Millennium Force. In fact: I prefer it to Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor and Maverick! But Falcon un China looks to be even better than Gatekeeper. Diamondback has the best layout of any B&M hyper with two untrimmed camelbacks immediately following the drop. It also has those long staggered seating trains and one mile of track with little used for EBR, station and lift hill. Flying Dinosaur is the best B&M flying coaster ever built. Fury 325 is B&M's best coaster. PERIOD. Thanks for posting this awesome video! I LOVE your top 5 best B&M coasters.
Thank you for sharing, very insightful! I agree with just about everything you said too. Gatekeeper is one of the best coasters at Cedar Point. The camelback after the first drop on Diamondback is insane, you get like 7 seconds straight of sustained floater airtime near the back of the train!
@@coasterEV I wouldn't say 7 seconds but I'd agree that it's it's a completely overlooked and seemingly underrated element, that's for sure! Also: floater airtime is felt in the stomach so vest restraints don't actually curtail any of it either, so I don't know why people complain about vest restraints on a wing coaster.
There is a flying coaster in China that is quite similar to Flying dinosaur - Starry Sky Ripper. Would have probably made the list, but it is a ride most people don't know abot. Pretty silly name too.
Nitro is way better than Griffin ill take the coaster with triple the track length and better pacing every time over a gimmicky dive..yukon striker does look good though ill admit
Hey I respect that, thanks for sharing your opinion. I personally don't think a ride has to be intense to be good. Most B&M hypers aren't very intense.
So much America, it's more like an American list and not the world. You forgot far better B&M coasters like The monster at Walygator parc in France. No trimbreaks, so smooth. Katun at Mirabilandia, Italy. Fluch der Demonen in Heide park, Germany. And my personal favorite, Superman, atracction de acero in Parque Warner, Spain.
Thanks for bringing those rides to my attention, I personally prefer B&M hypers and gigas (the majority of which are in America) which is why there are a lot of American coasters on here. Even so, 6 of them I listed were not in the US.
The outside seat especially can have a rattle on most wing coasters I've been on, including Gatekeeper. The B&M rattle in general doesn't bother me much but to others it does.

Love the raging bull representation
Raging Bulls first drop is so good
Raging Bull is such a Underrated Hyper. But its The best B&M ive been on
I agree with this list!
Best B&Ms in uk are nemesis nemesis inferno and the swarm 🎢 we need more please B&M !
Banshee. Best invert ever.
It's a great ride for sure!
black mamba??
I’ve only been on leviathan behemoth and Yukon striker but I want to try so many more. Leviathan is the most fun out of the 3 but Yukon has the best drop. Behemoth is fun but not as smooth
ive only ridden one b&m hyper which was Nitro. if people really say that its one of the best hypers, then b&m hypers just arent for me 😂
i felt no airtime on any hill but the 2nd to last one and besides the helix, everything is so drawn out that you just feel nothing. its not like it was cold and running slow either. because it was mid august
Ive been on 5 b&m hypers and thought they basically all were more or less the same… kinda just meanders with floater not intense idk i actually prefer the inverts
It should be said that Thunderbird is no longer the only launched wing coaster, but is still the only one not to be a shuttle coaster
My favourite b&m coaster I none. I have never been on one.
My home park is Canada's wonderland I've ridden all the b&m there Leviathan Yukon striker and behemoth
Ok, it's been over a year, i'm now a true enthusiast, and now my favorite B&m is fury, by a long shot. Next is Mako
What are your thoughts on behemoth at Canada's wonderland?
Black mamba is nemesis done better
Straight cap
I have ridden Hulk. It's fine and all, but I would put Candymonium and even the Great Bear over Hulk.
Mako is my favorite B&M Hyper
Nemesis.
What about The Swarm and Nemisis Inferno
Gatekeeper is my number one
Besides: most of the layout of a major dive coaster is POSITIVE gs during all of it's ride time duration except the two drops (which contradicts the unfair "one trick pony" reputation B&M dive coasters have been unfairly saddled with)
I've ridden three B&M wing coasters: Gatekeeper, Swarm And X-Flight.
You're right, this is the first time I've heard about this coaster, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Nemisis is my fav but im biased
Starry Sky Ripper!
Leviathan is my fav, my second fav is behemoth and my third fav is
yukon striker, and wth is millenium force?
Those are some good ones. Millennium force is an Intamin.
Air time on a invert???
You should get on Nitro
Planning a trip to great adventure next summer!
Nitro is way better than Griffin ill take the coaster with triple the track length and better pacing every time over a gimmicky dive..yukon striker does look good though ill admit
Black Mamba???
I respect the placement of most rides on here, but GateKeeper honestly shouldn´t be anywhere near this list. It´s just not intense at all
Hey I respect that, thanks for sharing your opinion. I personally don't think a ride has to be intense to be good. Most B&M hypers aren't very intense.
B&M inverts are meant for inversions not airtime
So much America, it's more like an American list and not the world. You forgot far better B&M coasters like The monster at Walygator parc in France. No trimbreaks, so smooth. Katun at Mirabilandia, Italy. Fluch der Demonen in Heide park, Germany. And my personal favorite, Superman, atracction de acero in Parque Warner, Spain.
Thanks for bringing those rides to my attention, I personally prefer B&M hypers and gigas (the majority of which are in America) which is why there are a lot of American coasters on here. Even so, 6 of them I listed were not in the US.
76580 Goodwin Turnpike
Apollo's chariot at bgw
The original B&M hyper but easily the worst one
@@coastersandbrews raging bull is worse
if people think diamondback has a rattle they havnt rode goliath at over georgia
B&m didn’t Make Goliath
Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia is a B&M hyper.
@@coasterEV you’re right, I was thinking of the other Goliath, sorry.
Am I the only person who felt a really annoying rattle on Gatekeeper? The ride has great forces but I couldn't enjoy them.
The outside seat especially can have a rattle on most wing coasters I've been on, including Gatekeeper. The B&M rattle in general doesn't bother me much but to others it does.
its glass smooth on the inside seats
Orion is the worst B&M it’s so boring and is over way too fast the best part is the brake run so I can go ride diamondback and mystic Timbers Orion is just a waste of space should have kept firehawk
Lol your just mad it’s not what you were expecting it to be so go get mad somewhere else
@@Jakebtw no it’s just a shit ride
@@Jakebtw I’m not mad just saying it’s boring af
@@blainebasil6577 wow I’m surprised you found it to be boring, ig it’s just about how much you like speed because I love the speed it has, the airtime moments are great, and the first drop too.
@@Jakebtw maybe I’ve had bad rides on it just kidding it sucks
