I’m a first time LR user I got the 4, the first week was tough with my female because she was terrified of it. She got used to it by watching her brothers use it and not get eaten by the giant eyeball. Now she gladly feeds the round monster regularly and I’m happy because we only have one litter box now and I don’t have to worry about scooping.
Only had mine for a month. So far I love it.
Some minor software bugs on the app for me, but yeah overall does everything it says it can do.
Thank you for posting. Mine will be delivered this week and with all the negative reviews, I was tempted to reject them. I’ll hopefully get units that don’t have any quality issues.
I didn’t really see any quality related issues. Functionally everything seems to work fine. The app is not the greatest, but I didn’t see any issues with the primary function of the robot which to me is drop the clumps into the bin underneath.
Pro tip, as someone who has had litter robots for over 10 years....those compostable bags, at least the ones I tried from Amazon, smelled horrible with cat waste in them. I ended up just going back to regular trash bags.
They regularly ones didn’t really smell any better they both just smell bad lol

the only bonehead designs are the scancode and plug so low and to the back, you have to tip it up AFTER they tell you to fill it. Otherwise pretty cool and fast setup. you have to mess around alot with the app to find things.
How did your cats react to it?
Is it possible to use only this automatic litter box or do you still keep the normal one next to it?
One likes it very much the other is curious about it but prefers not to go to the bathroom in it so we still have two litter boxes.

Is robot 3 bigger than robot 4?
IDK in terms of size with the 3, but the 4's litter tray is 15x10 inches
i removed the door from my catit litter box and never used it. these swing doors are a hazard. i read a lot of stories about cats injuring themselves with swing doors in litter boxes. i also lift out the filter area for larger entry opening. i don't believe the carbon filter does anything for smell at all. i have two jumbo size catit litter boxes, they are the best. i got petkit robot box but it's small and leaky. but robot 4 is so expensive especially after taxes.

Yes, we are still using it. We no longer have this cycle on it's own as one of the cats likes to stop the cycle from running. Both cats use it and we no longer use the upstairs litter box so it's nice to not have to scoop anymore 🙂
Litter robot 3 is much better for the price. I never had issues with it. The night sensor for litter robot 4 does not work! Don’t waste your money!!

I've been disappointed for a few years with prices, just got a pura max off ebay for 323, used. Part of the moulding is broken but works, seems decent. Might have to add some tape to the mat if I have a high pee-er, but otherwise getting rid of 3 other litter boxes and only having to run out a bag = yay lol
Oh, and I'm only here because I was looking for a sound clip of the litter robot 4. This one I got is so quiet it made me wonder what this one sounds like and it's pretty interesting the difference since this one is way more costly

Don't get it. I am stuck with a $700 piece of crap. It never worked since I got it and there's no way for me to get in touch with customer service to return or fix it! Literally just stuck with a $700 loss and so is everyone else that has problems. It's a big gamble
Can’t say what the customer service is like because it has worked out of the box for me. It never worked for you? They have a 90 day return policy. I imagine you should return it if it never worked for you and get a full refund.
@@59eX I can't complain because I don't have the product yet. But I wasn't aware of long wait because I bought it on whem through a TikTok add. Upon entering a ticket to customer service they got back to me within 24hrs with answers and a delivery date estimation. Give it a try.
@@DerrickMoy They're asking for return shipping $75 fee. Which is ridiculous when I paid $700 for it. They haven't replied to a request for return OR support
I've got two of the Litter Robot 4's....one white and one black with the wood colored front ring for variety. I endorse Litter Robot 4 over the Litter Robot 3. There's no comparison between the two models with the 4 getting my vote. Nit pickers on these comments are idiots.
When it works, it’s a dream, but 60% of the time it has some error code and doesn’t. Zero customer service in the UK. Smelly and frustrating.
That's a huge bummer, I didn't experience any issues with our unit. I haven't worked with the customer service team, but have found some bugs with the app in that it doesn't give notifications when a cat is detected or when the cat is weighed. Only gives a notification when the cleaning cycle has started.
Just opened mine and straight out of the box, it does not work. Complete garbage!
