Thank you! Very useful information
Perfect video, thank you.
Thank you!
Helps a lot thanks!
Thank you for this, it is loaded.
Great advice, but when I shrink my browser windows, small enough things get cut off in it no longer continues to adapt. Is this the point where it will switch to a mobile layout? I ask because I will shrink the browser down to the screen size of a small iPad and I’m wondering if the iPad is going to display mobile or desktop layout.
Awesome video! Question - The distance between the left/right margins differs based on screen size. If I add columns to each side, that will make them responsive? Having some difficulty achieving this. Is using columns the only way to make the margins the same on every screen?
Thank you
Thank you :)
Hey there Thank you for your video. I'm having trouble getting my images to fit on all screens on my slideshow. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi! Your video was so helpful and straight to the point. I was wondering how you made that 3D cube. Will you be making a video on that? It was so cool! Thanks
Hey E G, I have sense turned that website into a new business (still the same url and name) so I will most likely not be creating a video on this topic. However, the cube was created from a Wix app called "Social Media Stream." Once added to your Wix page, go to layout, than select 3D Cube.
Helpful Tip: When making this video there was a free version of this app, with a sponsor at the bottom of the cube. I recommend covering the sponsorship with a rectangle that is the same color as your background to avoid paying for the full version (or pay for the full version).
Hopefully this helped you out, best of luck designing your website!!!
I used the columns as you described - HOwever the adjustable width with change of the window size did not happen - :-0?
Thanks!
No really thanks short easy and informational for sure
I have 2 buttons on my screen, one fills the whole of the left side of the screen and the other fills up the whole of the right size (I'm going for a minimalistic design lol) and whenever I view the website on a different sized screen, it doesn't look good and so I've watched this video but I can't seem to be able to make use of strips along with buttons to make the website responsive. Please help me
i have a video on website background how do i make it responsive can you please help
Thanks
We are glad to help! :)
Great Tutorial, but I can't add column or change the layout of the column. Is it possible that you can only change the Layout when you have a six premium account?
Sorry that we took awhile to respond, also I am just not really sure if this is the case. Hopefully you have figured out the situation by now. Good luck!
I used the 'stretch' feature and my video which is in a strip still won't resize for smaller screens - what am I missing here?
I had the same problem, tried everything, and now just accept it won't do responsive video , someone prove me wrong if you can please
@@willclarke3760 - I solved it by upgrading my account to EditorX - It does cost more money. You have to learn a new editor and in my case, spend hours and hours in chat with support, but finally I got a responsive website.
There isn't an option to add columns to headers because of which when changing screen size my header menu's,logo and stuff are overlapping, any suggestions for that?
I learned recently that you can add a strip in the header and do the same exercises of adding columns etc to ensure it all words etc looks goods on all screen sizes.
@@marshak4436 I tried this yesterday, but still the website isn't as responsive as I expect it to be. The website made on WordPress or any other web builder doesn't seem to have such issue it only happens with wix classic editor it seems. Their latest editorX don't have such issues
@@itsshitposter interesting. I'm just starting to build my website on wix and will need to check out editorX vs classic. I'm very new to this
Literally doesn’t show stretch option for me
Its been driving me nuts, Every time I rescale everything breaks.
You didn't explain how to make columns, you basically just said you like to use them for such reason...?
This was not helpful.
