Lucky Seal Escape Great White attack but loses tail

This Seal in Plettenberg Bay had a lucky escape from a Great White Attack but lost its tail in the process.Its doing just fine as you can see.

One man's lucky escape is another's slow, drawn-out death, I suppose. If infection doesn't kill it, it's dying soon from hunger (catching fewer fish) or predation (easier to catch).

days are numbered for that seal. it will be so slow, it will be eaten up by sharks soon

Wouldn't give him to long left! Predators sence injury and weakness he'll be picked of quiet easily I'm afraid.

"Tail" , dude it is like he losses his legs. Seals barely have tails it is all their feet.
