Nice vid, but if you catch a halibut under 80cm the best way to let it go is to unhook it in the water, the same goes for a halibut over 100kg. In norway it is a rule that too small or too big halibuts needs to be let go, and unhooked in the water if it’s possible👍🏻

Definitely stock up on lures at home if any of you are lucky enough to go and fish in Norway. Its no fun to pay upwards of £30 for 6 spoons that will inevitably catch more fjord than fish!

I'm a Brit living in Norway and the fishing is off the scale compared to the UK.
There's a lot of really bad behaviour from Eastern Europeans in town but if you get out and about it's unmatched fishing.

Great fishing, just a word of advice, when you are on a big fish loosen up your drag a bit on your reel, the fish should be able to peel line from your reel. You’ll land more fish that way

What's that reel you're using? That drag is terrible. That will cost you some hook pulls jerking like that.
The reel is the mgxtreme which is a bang on reel, the reels drag simple broke on this session. It was horrible playing that sea trout on it. But I have one I use in the UK and it's soo good!

Thanks for getting in touch and yes I agree the fishing with lures has generally been crap this year so far I've had plenty of small zeds and perch on the fazeley but not many decent sized fish which I put down to the electro fishing by mm fisheries watch out because they are at it again from November unfortunately

Joke aside, I've lived inside the polar circle north Norway for nearly a year 24 years ago and it's a crazy how easy is to catch a fish up there, especially cod

See thing is this boys I have followed your channel from day one, now it’s all very well to get sponsorship from big companies one fish exotic places but most of your subscribers are still fishing the canals of brum so have a sense of proposition please most of your .viewers can’t afford to do do what you’re doing keep it real
I was actually just having this conversation with my partner. Through this experience I learnt alot about fishing, filming, myself and a different culture this trip really made me grow in many different ways. I do want to go and experience as many cultures and try and "catch em all" I know that our audience love the canal fishing and so do we and it'll always be our home however the world is too big to just stick to our back garden.
