My turtle died yesterday. it was a red-eared tortoise. Stones fell on him in the aquarium, he died of internal bleeding while we were out of the house. Matthew was 14 years old and today is his birthday. Too bad he didn't have super cool ninja brothers to save him. I will love you forever. Matvey you were the best and you will remain so

I love that Donnie started signing when emotions got too much, whilst I'm on that I didn't even notice I did that until my friend who has an autism diagnosis said in text that they couldn't talk because things got to be too much

It's also canon he knows sign, which is also a cool detail. In one of the episodes (I forgot which one, but it was when they were in the wilderness), he was freaking out because he didn't have his tech (mostly seen as comedy but also represents him losing his comfort items) and built this huge treehouse, but at one point says to a ton of animals "Ok, let's shut it down boys" while (I'm pretty sure) signing out "explosion". I'm sure there's a clip on youtube somewhere if you search "rottmnt donnie knows sign" it'll probably pop up. But yeah, let's go autistic donnie, let's go! 👏👏

I'm loving all of the ROTTMNT comics dubs, you voice them so well! The comic is amazing, props to the artist for the beautiful artwork, and I love the banter and the relationships between each of the brothers. Love your dubs, keep up the great work!
I like how in the comic Raph found a compromise so Donnie can rest and be near Leo at the same time.

At 2:04 Donnie starts using sign language to communicate to his brothers and I think he was so emotionally distraught that instead of shutting down physically or emotionally (mostly), he shut down verbally. And I find it wholesome that his brothers learned sign language as well to still talk with Donnie whenever he shuts down like that.
The voices are far from accurate but they make it so much better

In the show Donnie acts like he’d rather have normal turtles for brothers but the movie and many fan animatics show that he in fact cares very deeply for his brothers and hates doing nothing when they are hurt.
Yep... I think I've heard autistic people can seem cold, but it's just extreme emotional and social awkwardness. The condition makes it difficult to process emotion and how to interact with others. Having a fellow autistic TMNT is the awesomest thing. 😃
I agree. In the movie when Leo is in the prison dimension, we see Donnie crying with tears which is very rare in the TV series. Sorry if I spoiled the movie.😅🤭

This is all so perfect! I love the little moments between the brothers that were calming and sweet. But I think one of my favorite parts was the end when Raph used the big brother voice and Leo knew he was in trouble.
