I have the QB chief gen 1 in 22 cal and have never had a problem with it ! It shoots in the mid 800s ! I also have a gen2 + in .177 and it's proving itself to be a nice little gun too !
The Beeman Chief is a surprising good rifle for the money. I ordered the Chief 1322 along with a budget hand pump as an entry level rig for PCP, and because pumping it helps me get my cardio in. I'm shooting mine with iron sites and at 15 yards I'm making one hole groups, when I move it out to 25 yards it starts shooting about 4 inches high, but still one hole groups, out at 50 yards I'm shooting 4 inch groups, but about 6 inches high. Being unable to adjust the rear site any lower I took advantage of Amazon's exchange policy thinking I had a bad copy. The next rifle also arrived in the same way you discussed, not dressed in a disguise at all. It also shoots the same way, just not as high with the rear site as low as it can go. Only real difference in the two is the replacement rifle only has one O ring on the bolt. I didn't chronograph it to compare to the first one I received, but I'm thinking since there's only one O ring on the bolt I might be losing some pressure which causes it to not shoot so high. I'll chronograph them both today for comparison, the first one was shooting in the mid 800 feet per second.
Hay Nibs, enjoy the new rifle. The QB Chief 2 (1328) has a magazine but the same fill pressure and yours. The Chief 2+ synthetic (1336) has a higher fill pressure of 3000 PSI which is the same pressure as the Commander (1518)! Thanks for sharing.
Those PCP's are a rabbit hole I really don't want to go down. I recently went down the springer rabbit hole and that's enough for me. This hobby is almost as expensive as powder burners
The price point here is very alluring, I may at some point pull the trigger on a pcp but still enjoying some old springers I bought second hand. Love your suppressor. Thanks for sharing. Happy Easter
@@WalnutandSteel I agree on the synthetic hollow stocks for sure. Can’t beat the price no matter what. And the power is really good at over 800 fps in .22.😎🇺🇸
Well Nibs I have joined you. I got a used Shin Sung 9m-357 beautiful gun and the same guy had a 22 mod magnum 6 that I got in the deal, it's also a Korean gun but unknown in America and nothing on the internet that I can find yet. Both high power and accurate rifles. Parts are supposed to interchange with some Shin Sung so wish me luck hope yours works well also. BTW I am probably going to sell my new used 177 puncher pcp in stainless. The manufacturer's name escapes me right now. TTYL
Good entry level PCP , I don't own any PCP air rifles so that my be my starting point for those type Air Rifles, Beeman is a Brand that I started out with in the Springers from Walmart with the exchangeable barrels in .22cal & .177cal so Beeman with their beautiful Woodstocks are great for me and I like the price your got the beast for. Thanks for the Link 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
👋🏾sup brAh! Congrats!Own a qb78 that I converted over to pcp and added the archer airgun multi shot block with magazines and different barrel pre gauntlet days in 22! Did a review on my channel on this gun along with some pesting videos braddah👊🏾😎
Be careful when getting parts for this pcp because the 1st gen is still not able to get a valve seal from Beeman, new gen valve is 33mm and the first gen is 35mm.
Did you have to take the front sight off to put the LDC on the gun ? Did you ever get the chance to look at how the valve is put together on your Crosman 1008 ?
The vevor was a little more expensive but has some nice features i like a lot. Like foldable feet a removable fill hose and the pressure guage is tilted up so you can see it while you are pumping
Good wood. Good sights & good velocity/pressure. All for less than $200. Can't beat that.
I have shot 1 fills worth through it already and I am quite impressed!
@@WalnutandSteelSad part is a good compressor costs more than the rifle. Hand pump cause any issues with that rotator?
Pushing down doesn’t hurt. Only lifting my arm up and out hurts.
@@WalnutandSteelMeans you set the coffee mug closer & higher up but not over shoulder height. I hated trying to drink coffee with the wrong arm. 😂☕
Yeah you learn to adjust, but its tough getting the mail out of the mailbox when I get home at the end of the day!
Love my QB chief! Great shooter!! Now, thanks to you, I got s silencer on it. It's loud without it! 😬😂
yup has some bark! hope you used my buck rail affiliate link!

Yep... but you get a lot more toys for the same money! Especially in countries like mine where we have to pay dearly for every firearms license.
looks great, thanks. These company's need to start threading the barrels as standard though, we all want supressed air guns 😍😍
Congrats on super repeater! I want a QB78 someday. It is a crosman 160 clone, and very tunable.
Thanks.
That lil shooter gets folks into the pcp game. Will be interesting to see how it groups. Could be a affordable ground squirrel hunting rig.

Un PCP .económico .a disfrutarlo .Feliz Pascua
Heavy Sucker statement scares me already. Looks nice for under $200.😎
Substantial is a better term. It has a nice feel in the hand. Unlike so many new production guns that feel like they are made of styrofoam

The two RWS guns I purchased on Amazon both came in boxes that were partially destroyed/damaged but both guns survived.
Amazon doesn't use any packing right? Everytime I get a rifle from them the box they put the rifle box in is smashed up on arrival. Unbelievable!
Not much😢

Amazon won’t even ship PELLETS to Delaware 😢

The mount for the suppressor has a notch for the front sight. I pulled the 1008 out but I didn’t get a chance to pull it apart
@@WalnutandSteel ok thank you !
@@WalnutandSteel please let me know what you come up with on the 1008 !
Thanks for sharing, been looking at lower priced pcps.
What model hand pump do you have, like?

So it’s been great! Another great choice from beeman is the raider.
