"His utterly miserable existence"? Really? What a horrible thing to say. And so like the press that has dogged him all his life - scrutinizing him for sport. Only he has the right to make such a statement
Very enjoyable. Bob Dylan and The Band was my very first introduction to his music in the early '70's. We are all blessed to have him with us here still today! He seems like the sort of person that doesn't take himself so seriously, yet his music and lyrics definitely contradict that. A very interesting person!
I’ve like Bob Dylan’s music since I purchased in 1967 and album I still own the original to this day “Bob Dylan, Lay Lady Lay” . Also living in SoCal minutes from his Malibu beach home I’ve had several opportunities that involved the artist. His Lyrics have always influenced and inspired me to listen carefully to artists music especially the lyrics.🎶🎼
I have most of his albums. Vinal records. I followed him to forever. Everyone in the 60s knew how much I loved him and his songs, One more cup of coffee before I go, and Pillbox Hat and all of them.
I will always look at Dylan as a revolutionary and an outstanding Legacy. I grew up and got my world view from Dylan who was in sync with my inner self. I wish him all the very best in the coming years.
weather he likes it or not - he was put here at a time we needed him here. Finding his destiny is our blessing. What would it be like to live through the '60 s without him? Listen closely, the world is still a changing. Pay attention!
Dylan's main interest in life is real estate acquisition. He also used to worry about the well-being of his family especially after Frank Sinatra's son was kidnapped and held for ransom.
Thanks for sharing all this amazing material inspired me …it’s late on Thanksgiving night 2024; l need to go to bed but will you watch this a later date ,5⭐️’s five ✨ I been fan since I was 13 What motorcycle🏍 Young have to go back and listen to all his old tapes until he Re-appeared I was 18 North county fair John Wesley Harding Nashville skyline and the rest is my history….name my daughter Sera my son Joseph this summer in San Diego Play Willie Nelson I was there when my daughter Sera was selling his T-shirts …. FULL for Circle😊😊😊
Memories of his music..My young sons threw the tape out of the cat window as I drove on 4 lane hiway.. Nothing but songs from Sesame Street and WON'T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR' we're their listening favorites. lol They grew up! Then they marveled at Dylan, loving his unconventional lyrics and music..
I unknowingly went to Garth Hudson's house in Malibu with a friend and didn't know who he was. Robbie Robertson walked by and here i am watching all the Dylan's videos and want to see the movie about him. No Direction Home with Timothy Chalamet.
No on said any thing about knocking on heavens door which so many bands have covered written for the movie pat garret and billy the kid in which he played a small part great movie great song
Th bride always stays with the Word n revelation.. only those will go up in the rapture. She does not stray from her Husband she is chained. To HIM.. He leads her into all truth . No man teaches her .only Her Husband.. not everyone is in the rapture.🎉😢❤ .

Human nature being like it is, different people will have different views ,fact remains he is the supreme Lyricist for me the greatest poet of our time, I don't think we will see his like any time soon again
Bod Dylan, like Mick Jagger and many others, admits he sold his soul to the Devil at 'The Crossroads' for fame.....and now that he is approaching the end of this life, he is terrified at the prospect of the Devil collecting his dues. He says it at the very beginning of the video, he doesn't know how he got to write those songs, as if by a penetrating magic.....well, you do know!
So sorry to hear that these entertainers will sell their soul to the devil just for fame and fortune. I wonder what is on the other side when they die.
Ho-hum (yawn). A rather superficial catalogue of facts about a deep artist, and a mispronunciation of "Chabad," and not much of anything about the meanings and passions in his huge body of work. Not everything from him has been great, of course, but he is definitely one of the greats, and this surface skim comes nowhere near doing a good job. The facts of his life contained here are interesting enough, but if you just listen to a few of his albums, you find breadth and depth not touched here.
@DonaldSnyder-i6f listern again I b have said it many times when I have spent to much it's just a saying and he never said the devil he is just a myth like santa and the boogyman
Only Christians give their souls to Jesus or even call him “christ” (messiah or “anointed in oil”). Not everyone is Christian or wants to be, although some will be if you put them on the rack…
The best is is that the Great Dylan is still with us, God bless him and his family 🔥❤️
He's just bursting with creativity and talent. Star shines bright. Keep on shining, Bob. We need your light.
"His utterly miserable existence"? Really? What a horrible thing to say. And so like the press that has dogged him all his life - scrutinizing him for sport. Only he has the right to make such a statement
Agree!
Yeah I feel so sorry for him…….yawn
Yup, that is where I stopped watching the video. Who makes these trash videos, anyway?
That was my first thought..such a lame thing to say.

“To dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea”-who can beat that?!
We love Bob, he's still performing and doesn't look or act miserable!! 😎
I have most of his albums. Vinal records. I followed him to forever. Everyone in the 60s knew how much I loved him and his songs, One more cup of coffee before I go, and Pillbox Hat and all of them.
Pillbox hat I think was about Edie Sedgwick which a book about her is a fascinating read.
I will always look at Dylan as a revolutionary and an outstanding Legacy. I grew up and got my world view from Dylan who was in sync with my inner self. I wish him all the very best in the coming years.
Dylanology. Dr. Jones.
He changed my life...saw him in Philly...a tiny venue...I was so close he looked at me and smiled. That was a trip.
Been with him from mid sixties. Great.
Happy Birthday Bob Dylan 🎉❤👏🦃🎸🎶🎵🙏🙏🕊️🕊️
Belated happy day Bob.
He already told yall, “I still got the scars that the sun didn’t heal.”
Thrown together with several inaccuracies but fans know the rest anyway. 🤔 Live long, Bob! Best from London UK. ❤
Yup, hardest working man in show business.
Truly my hero
Thrive long, be joy, don’t look back as it never ends. Life and more life. Sing truth and reality. 🙏❤️😍
Bob Dylan was born on the24th May 1941❤
A Gemini.
I was born 25th May. Missed out by a day!
I was born on his 30th birthday. In the same hospital. In the same room.

I was born on the same day, in the same room, on Bobs 30th birthday.
Happy birthday to you!

I guess I will be takin' to my grave, what Rick Danko said to me before he died. Yah, go as Bob.
Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg and Andy Warhol introduced me to America in 1965.
I used to clean house for his aunt, and she always called him little Bobby Zimmerman,
I unknowingly went to Garth Hudson's house in Malibu with a friend and didn't know who he was. Robbie Robertson walked by and here i am watching all the Dylan's videos and want to see the movie about him. No Direction Home with Timothy Chalamet.
Can someone please have ROGER WATERS listen to NEIGHBOURHOOD BULLY. And JOKERMAN. Thanx Bob for your courage and the truth
No on said any thing about knocking on heavens door which so many bands have covered written for the movie pat garret and billy the kid in which he played a small part great movie great song
Love that film and all the songs, watched it many, many times!
No one has also said anything about how he was one of the most dreary ‘dirgy’ performers and songwriter ever😂
I don't know how i wrote those songs. (Acid trips were VERY common).
Bob is wonderful in everything HE does!
Watch the Martin Scorsese 2005 documentary No Direction Home . Absolutely wonderful. Documenting his early life. Dylan is spellbinding.
Oh my God , how I love him!
Poor boy.with a.house bigger than 3 Wal Mart stores..bullet proof windows, chopper pad on roof..give me a brake...with friends in high places?? 😂

What kind of man leaves his woman alone on Thanksgiving
A touring musician.
A quasi Christian
Happy birthday Bob 👍👍👍 l growing Up with your music 😅😅😅
I hope he has gotten his spiritual facts straight.
Love Bob he is an Icon ✴️😄

Bollocks

Yeah boring and hypocritical.
Maybe Joan and Bob were meant to strengthen each others characters for there future to come🤷♂️
The same town where Robert Mondavi came from .famous in Napa valley
Hmm interesting
I stopped watching when you said "Suze Ralston" instead of her real name, Suze Rotolo. Even the most casual Dylan fan knows her name.
And Galatians 6:16 the Isreal of God the ones who have the covenant.
So sorry to hear that these entertainers will sell their soul to the devil just for fame and fortune. I wonder what is on the other side when they die.
Too complictated a history !! He is still alive FFS
Hasn't been original Zim since 66 crash.....
What about the Wilbur's?
Skipped a few decades after 1969
It was a murder most foul.
Please tell him about manganese 😊
leave him alone tabrnac

Did bob dylan actually grow up ????
and at OVER 80...What ..??
I was born on May 21 six years later ,I only caught up on his music at 72 🥴

Charley Mc Coy a mouth harp player !! Not bass player !!
Wrong.
So bad.
Nothing personal however I prefer John Lennon by far big time. And let's not forget Donald J. Trump who does it RIGHT!
Sold his soul to the devil, very very sad.
Come on you don't reaiy belive that
@maggiebryan2355 he actually said that on 60minutes.
@DonaldSnyder-i6f listern again I b have said it many times when I have spent to much it's just a saying and he never said the devil he is just a myth like santa and the boogyman

What kind of man leaves his woman alone in her house with no car for 12 days???
Musician.
That’s plainly unacceptable
Jj
Q
Is this a real statement or what???
@@MaryMoulton-b1s ??? Probably not real.
Sold his soul to Satan what a fool Should have given his souls the Lord Jesus Christ
How do you know there even is a god or a devil & how do you profess to know anything about him.
You sound like a fool spouting nonsense like that!
Ridiculous to even say any of that. We are all private people when we are being creative.
