FILM DESCRIPTION:
Interwoven stories demonstrate that some traditions are best not forgotten as the residents (Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker) of a small town face real ghosts and goblins on Halloween. Tales of terror reveal the consequences of extinguishing a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight and a grumpy hermit's encounter with a sinister trick-or-treater.

The vampire kid repeating his wish to go home really hurt. The thought that he felt safe with people that not only considered him a burden but wanted him gone both saddened and angered me.
This happens in real life a lot now, and the worst part of this is the masks floating up, implying that the poor kid that just wanted to go home had died. I feel honestly horrible.
@@JustAshh.. ALL the kids on that bus died; and even worse, neither the bus nor their bodies were ever recovered from the quarry after this in the film.
Only the bus driver survived; those poor kids didn’t deserve that fate.
The kid in the vampire mask just pissed me off because he was too stupid to notice a cliff right in front of the bus
@@nerdman3836 it was because he was overwhelmed by his fear and anxiety . Especially when he was not around the comforting presence of his parents
@@nerdman3836 Dude, he totally knew the cliff was there and was trying to go in reverse but accidently put the bus in the wrong gear. Because, let's face it, at what point would this kid ever have learned how to drive a bus? Notice how it took him a while to get it started? Plus, he had the mind of a child and was panicking and anxious. So yeah, it's no surprise that he made that mistake.
When the Dracula kid started mumbling "Home, Home, i wanna go home." I feel this... Hard hit of feeling bad at every kid in that bus.
that was great acting
That one kid continuously saying, "Home” was heartbreaking
It's the kid that drove the bus off a cliff.
The fact that the parents would do such a thing is heartbreaking, and its made even worse from the fact that the movie takes place during a time period where mental illness wasn't as well understood as it is today and they probably thought this was the only solution. I actually started crying when the kid with the dracula mask started to say he wanted to go home. How he sounds so scared in the unfortunate circumstance that he is in and how he just wants to go back to the comforts of home and maybe his parents.
@Jerome Green he's mentally ill, plus he's a child he can't drive. And pretty sure he didn't know the difference between forward and reverse.

It's just heartbreaking that their parents paid the driver to shackle them up in the bus. It's even worse that they're mentally disabled so they don't really understand what's going on. I don't think they deserved a painful death like that, especially being betrayed by their own parents. It's sad enough that they had to grow up with a mental illness. > "i wanna go home"

Keep in mind these children were disabled. The kid was probably panicking and didn’t know what to do.
Or he was trying to drive home.
I like how we don't even hear a splash; we knew what was gonna happen so the sound wasn't necessary.
The kid tripping him is so funny that leg flew up quick
What makes this scene so sad, is that, unfortunately, it's realistic. Some people think those who disabled are "a nuisance" or "a burden" and we would be better off without them. I had a classmate in college give a speech about why he thought the world would be better if we just killed off disabled people. I was glaring at him the whole time and it took every ounce of self control I had not to get up and punch him in front of the whole class. Thoughts like that are just selfish, sick, and evil! We should help those who are not blessed like we are, not kill them.

Sad but awesome costumes-
Reminds me of the bus trips some of us had to take to other places. We weren't told where we were going, but just get on the bus.
Kids like myself who had disabilities but also the troubled kids..the ones who were written up as having behavioral problems and the school needed to do something about them rather than just stick us in an unused classroom next to the janitor's closet. Mind you, this was early 2000's where helping kids who were abused or had problems wasn't a big priority whatsoever..at least that's how it was where I was because I would tell teachers that I was being abused and they ignored it. You're punished for being a "bad kid" but no one asked you why you were acting out; you were just punished and blamed.
The places we would go were other places where we were told to sit down and be quiet..like, big open floor buildings with seats and nothing else. No learning, no stimulation, just sit there and don't say a word. If you did, you would get yelled at for speaking. Stay there for 2 hours and be driven back to the school. I'm not sure why we were there and no one in charge told us why we were taken out and treated like that. Bus driver never talked to us, never said hello or looked at us. The whole thing made you feel like you're a bad kid and you don't deserve a second chance to learn or be a part of the school.
One of the best Halloween movies of all time
