Go to an Eastern country, the women are brought up correctly to respect men compare to the women in Western countries that have been poisoned by 'male hating' Feminism! I did and have never been happier! I personally would touch a Western woman these days even for $1,000,000 after visiting Eastern countries.

Since they will have access to Internet and smartphones they will want to find that guidance from other men and women. Since guidance from the parents is lacking they will look to their peers or exposure from what they receive (on the internet).

It's so obvious when guys are trying to make their voice deeper, and it's anything but intimidating.
Guys who are super confident with whatever voice god gave them can be a little intimidating, but it's not the voice that's threatening.
It's knowing they're confident enough to use that voice to talk circles around me that earns my respect.
If you're searching for confidence through a deeper voice, keep looking. You'll only find fool's gold

He literally commands respect in a room full of people much taller than him. I have to admit, as a woman, when I first met him, his deep voice gave me feelings I wasn't expecting. I notice a change in tonality through out the day depending on my mood, level of physical exhaustion, whether women are present or various social situations. One thing that really throws a spanner in the works is when I’m with someone who is negative, attempting to mess with my confidence/happy go vibe (says more about their confidence, usually the one off bloke in the social group), my tonality can go all over the place and pisses me off, to the point I eventually have enough and give them they eye, indirectly threatening them, sometimes intimidating them which doesn’t feel good after the fact, but shuts them down from their behaviour.

It’s confidence, folks. Be informed, practiced and confident and comfortable in your own skin. If you are nervous and unprepared, your voice becomes weak and fragile. If you are cool, calm, collected and confident, it reads in your posture, your shoulders, your face, and yes... your voice. Direct and confident and with purpose.
    It’s not rocket science.

What you should be doing is putting together an info product on all the exercises you do for your voice, sell it online and BOOM! 💥 You will OWN this niche. 7 billion people on earth 🌏, that's 3.5 billion men who want a voice like YOURS! What are you going to do? I am in sales I have always told my friends that people with deep voices practiced it for many years and they always thought I was lying. In fact it is acting, it does work to a point, but the greatest minds don't talk like that, when you talk that deep you sound a little stupid to a very smart person. The sad part is it works because people are not in touch with each other's emotions during a conversation and they are controllable, and that's why all sorts of different sales tactics work.

A good quality voice can be a game changer. I have a neighbor who is a Little Person (Midget) with an extremely deep voice and he told me people would laugh at him or give him strange looks and never spoke to him until they heard him speak, now they speak to him just to hear him speak. Again a good quality voice can be a game changer.

I am a woman whose voice has been getting deep (compare my voice in my first and last videos) because my neck and throat are recovering since the 1990s thanks to the past 5 years of physical therapy. Long story.
But now I have a really deep voice suddenly because I have physically healed. Physical and mental recovery are completely linked, in ways I never would have guessed. I used to be hunched over, put all my weight and abs instead of my spine, and much worse, very off balance, and preyed upon by abusive people. Now I seek the opposite, and the fact that I have enough room in my mouth and throat for my tongue gets rid of tension. My entire personality is changing just from my physicality recovering. I can even turn toward and away from people better on uneven ground without falling over.
What do you think of women with deep voices? And what can I do with it? Do you think it freaks people out?
Certainly better than sounding like a 12 year old.

Hello,I have a semi deep voice. What I did to help with people understanding me was talking slower, emphasizing my vowels. In order to do this I gesticulated with my hands slower with hand gestures and tried to match the speed. What makes a voice more appealing is not the low voice per say, but the low resonance. So I practice making the sound project more throughout my nasal cavity and not so much in my throat which allowed my voice to be better amplified . You're a wind instrument . Take bigger breaths guys. When you have a deeper voice it takes more breath to talk because your vocal chords are shorter and thicker than most. If you take bigger breaths, you will have less strain when speaking and projecting. Also make sure to drop your soft palate in the back of your throat by inhaling with a "kah"( you will feel a minty feeling like youre chewing gum) and you'll find yourself a stronger voice. Hope this helps.

As i went through this, i came across one issue and i wanted to ask your opinion on it:
While talking, it takes effort to keep tonality from up to down, i get tired at some point while talking this way. And since while talking, my entire focus is on up to down tonality, the moment i am unable to hold, i start to get nervous from inside because the fear that i ll become ineffective speaker, starts creeping in. Any suggestions?

When he opened his mouth his voice would fill the room instantly capturing the attention of everyone present and regardless of whether or not he knew what he was talking about, most would without a second thought Believe him. His voice commanded Authority and as result this individual excelled in our department, on another note women, Would in most cases overlook this gentleman's stature and engage him more than his taller counterparts. I quickly understood the importance of harnessing the power of one's voice, using it as a tool to mitigate obstacles in social and workplace environments.

Funny, I have had a strong deep, drawl (I'm Canadian, but people will mistake for American, which I love). Even when I had to Telemarked for 3 years in Montreal to make a living while playing music (not being bilinguaL) my strong unique phone voice would make my job so much easier.
Too many times, I find myself going into that high-pitched, "Can I help you" customer service voice as I call it. Not only do I feel weak, but I get much less respect and come across as well...weak. When my actual strong voice has been pre-dominant I've been given offers for voice acting jobs, but, these days I always catch myself falling into that "customer-service" voice. I'm definitely going to practice this technique to get my old voice happening again. Thanks for the great advice.

  • @L1623VP
    @L1623VP 7 лет назад

This guy really gets it. Some good advice. What I find is a big problem with younger guys, especially if they're under 30 or even 35 is using "upspeak". It's a bit like rapport-seeking tonality, but with even bigger scoops at the end of each statement to the point where everything sounds like a question, even when it's not. It sounds VERY similar to Valley Girl Speak, for those those were around in the 80's and know what that is. RUclips upspeak or the song Valley Girl by Moon Zappa. I'm surprised how many young men (and especially women) speak that way. It's from watching too much media and unconsciously mimicking the speech patterns that are heard. Because humans are imitators by nature, it's been said that our personality (of which the voice is a part) is a combination of the five people we spend the most time with. Most single guys spend way too much time watching TV and films, and end up unconsciously adopting those speech patterns. Upseak makes men sound effeminate or if they have a naturally deeper voice, like a "dude". The end result is sounding less authoritative and even less intelligent for both men and women. People who use upseak nearly always use the word "like" constantly, even when it's not necessary. To be strong, make your point and be done with it. Don't use filler words such as "like".
A word about posture. Studies show that regardless of what we might say, our feet always tell the truth. If you pass two people in the hallway at work who are talking, and they only turn at the waist to acknowledge you as you pass them but do NOT reorient their feet from facing each other, that's the nonverbal signal to say a polite "hi" and keep on walking because they haven't opened themselves to you. They want to say focused on each other. Our feet always point toward what we want or where we want to go. So if the girl at the bar has twisted her torso to respond to you but has not reoriented her whole body to face you with her feet pointing in your direction, she's not opening herself to you and would rather be wherever her feet are facing, whether that be with her friend or even out the door.
