Hey everyone! About 20 hours in and I’ve noticed an interesting trend. It seems like people in the UK have a very unpopular opinion of VFC, but have a higher opinion of E&L compared to viewers from the U.S.
I’m not sure what the difference is. Maybe the VFCs you’re getting with lower velocity aren’t quite as good as the U.S. models, but they’re easily one of the most popular $300+ guns here in the states.
I personally don't agree with where Lancer tactical is on there I would personally put them at least a C, but that's only because I have a m4, it was my first gun, and my only m4 still works flawlessly and it's stock other than replacing the rubber bucking and getting a new battery soon other than that all my other upgrades are external like a sig romeo5 reddot And a magpul angled grip, but they are cheap guns to do internal upgrades to, so would you rather spend $300 on a krytac m4 and spend another $250 on upgrades or would you spend $190 on a LT and $250 on the same upgrades, its going to have the same performance either way just more cost efficient I think.

@@speedybikelife7475 Most of the cost of HPA is upfront though. I know guys who have spent a lot more on their AEGs over a couple years, maybe even a year or two, then guys who have dropped HPA money upfront and didn't need anything after that. They'll pay for themselves eventually from the lack of any real need to repair things.
I agree with most, but not the Tokyo Marui ranking lol. I've been playing airsoft for about 10 years (took a break in between), Tokyo Marui rifle works the best out of the box when comparing with other brands. Quite a few times when I and my friends bought a new rifle (VFC, KWA etc.) roughly the same time and my Tokyo Marui runs the longest without a problem and good range and accuracy without upgrades. I normally upgrade my TM when I got bored with it or have too much time on my hands haha. I still have an 8 years old TM M4 and that fixed hop up m9 pistol and they are still my "guest gun". A few years ago I didn't really like VFC, I thought they make the best looking exterior, but needs a lot of upgrades internally. But my friend currently is running the new 416 series, and they improved a lot internally.
JG isnt as bad as you make them out to be either. They arent high end guns but they last. Granted you arent running an 11.1 or a high speed motor in them, they will go forever. Def better than lancer tactical

I always have a soft spot for JG bec my first ever airsoft is a JG CQBR way back in 2012. It still works properly to this day.
My mp5 is made by JG too, love the gun. The slap is just... noice but the gone doesn’t shoot...
My JG SR16 was cheaply made but surprisingly accurate. Good beginner gun for sure.
Both JG guns I've bought stopped working soon after I got them lol. Although my JG G3 is the best I have after a friend fixed it.

I have a Systema Challenge Kit from 2007 that is still running to this day. Well worth the money for me. I also have a Tokyo Marui G36C from 2006 and is also still going strong to this day. It’s completely stock and have never been opened.
This was an absolute breath of fresh air for me! I would do little different here and there but almost exactly how I’d do my tier list! So many on a VFC attack mode and I can’t figure out why I mean years ago before the Avalon gearbox I could see. The days of the clear piston and taper plate or clear blue piston those stripped and or broke all the time but could easily swap those out and the externals were the best at the time so it was still worth it! I guess Europe is getting poor QC’d Avalon gearbox’s idk. Anyway great list and glad to see you posting here on RUclips again!

Would you please expound on that one?
I'm not commenting this to pick a fight, but I had one of the gen 1 Avalon Caliburs, and I had nothing but problems with the platform.
I understand that I could just be that I got a mega lemon, so if you have the time, could you explain what makes the Avalons the best out of the box AEG?

Nice video, I agree with you about TM, Like Dobule Eagle, they make great externals and are fit for the US market if you are a Techie. I would like to see a bit more analysis in your choices, but I will say they are right on the mark with my rankings. Wherer is Golden Eagle, lol. Considering you base the video on how the guns perform out of the box, I would like to see an updated video including Silverback, Novritsch, EMG, Specna Arms, Action Army.
Double eagle does not make good externals…
DE have certainly upped their game drastically. i have a DE UTR45 and its insanely good. £170 with a mosfet and binary trigger out the box

One I would add to this list as an A or a B is Arcturus, extremely well made, great internals, great QC and probably the best gun under $300.
Americans mostly care about vfc or elite force from what it seems
My second gun I ever bought was the Arcturus NY02CQ M4 and it works like a dream. The microswitch coupled with an 11.1 makes for one of the best trigger responses in semi and a respectable fire rate in full-auto. I also like the half polymer half metal build as it unexpectedly made the gun more balanced as opposed to a full polymer or full metal build.
I actually don't think jg is that bad. Their g36c is almost as good as the cyma. In fact a lot of places say the cyma g36c is the best rental gun and jg is number 2 because cyma just has cut off levers that last a little longer. Their gas shotguns (jag arms doesnt make them. They are made by jg/ge. Golden eagle and jg are the same) are actually not that bad. For ebb ak's just disable the ebb and stong second to old cyma ak's.
Jg and Double Bell aren’t bad. Jg is not as good but they aren’t horrible, double bell is pretty good now and their quality has vastly improved

As a new player, I jumped in with lancer tactical. Got a gen 3 and a Stryk hi capa. Both are nearly flawless so far and as I learn on this journey they have done a lot of things right. I don't have a lot of experience or things to compare them too but my group of friends has a smattering of the other brands and my LT always seems to outdo them in features and so far reliability too. Maybe its just gen 3 but a newer list I could see them getting placed higher as they seem to be starting to break out of their past sins that I've heard of.
I agree. When I was brand new, I chose a Gen 2, but I now see all the hate and the reasons, but I don't get it. My Gen 2 could DEFINITELY use a higher fire rate, but it's accurate at range, reliable AF, and came with everything I needed as a brand new player. I love my Lancer, despite what others say. Still throws down like a champ after over 2 years of usage with 0 problems.
seeing LT get placed this low makes me upset, especially when i ordered a gen three and its being delivered rn. but you sharing your experience makes me feel better about it:) my gen three should be here this wednesday!
@@nicholasmac05 that comment was a good while ago. But im happy to report the gen 3 (and stryk which im currently upgrading like mad) is still working flawlessly even after taking a spill a few months back. I think you will be happy with it.
Get a TM GBBR as a beginner, people overreact on GBBRs complexity, they are bloody simple as a freaking walking

why the hell does this guy not have more subs, he saved me from spending so much more money on face meshes, and he just recommended me the one Tigris half face mesh and its perfect!

VFC in S. For an aeg that expensive I expect something with no flaws. VFC have shit shimming and strip pistons. They look pretty though.
I use a Echo 1 xcr-c and it is a pretty accurate airsoft gun. It says it can use .20g and .25g BBs but I found out that it works with .20g BBs a lot better and jams up a lot with .25g BBs.
Im planning to buy a GBB m4a1 cqbr from WE tech since I have 2 glocks from them 17 and 18.
17 has been really reliable to me since I dropped it a lot and was accidentally thrown at one time but all in all it still works the metal inner has 1 crack tho but it still works fine
18 on the other hand works really good as well even when not maintained that good it still works just lube it good and should function fine
Hopefully I get a hit and not a miss from we tech

personally i’m putting g&g S tier. I have owned two of their guns and one of them is my favorite gun like i would recommend this to anyone i’ve had it for like 4 to 5 years atleast and it still runs like a best. Crazy good trigger respond not the best full auto but my field is semi only. I’m not even going to do a mosfet upgrade because my trigger is so amazing and battery life is fine. the only thing i would change on them would be a motor.. otherwise they are easily my go to brand!

can anyone help me which brand makes this one the ‘best’?
I tortured tested a Lancer Tactical M4 Gen2 SD before. I left it out in my backyard during a rainy week without any protection. On the 8th day of the experiment I tested the range, firing, etc. Overall no damage was brought with it (except the rust on the nails that hold the rails :/). If your not a very responsible person I recommend you buy this chonky tank :)
Most of these brands are actually made by a few OEMS - WE, KJ, AGM, KA, VFC - those rebrands you see in evike are one of these 5, elite force included.
whats your opinion on G&G? ive been looking for opinions on them, i like the guns ive gotten from them (arp9) but is everything from them quality?

The moment you put elite force and VFC in S tier you lost me, they have a awful reputation in the UK
I watch a lot of Negative Airsoft's videos, and it almost seems like VFC here in the States and VFC in the UK are 2 different companies. At the very least, 2 wildly different product lines.
Love the videos. I agree with you for the most part. I think TM is an S tier because they’re the OG. Looking at brand overall, they’re an S tier. But playing devils advocate, you did say stock guns, so I agree there. Also the same for KWA, kwa is an OG in the market for good stock guns, but looking at right now, they aren’t the best. Looking overall at the brand overall, KWA is elite. Lastly, PTS should be S tier for their externals alone, from stocks to grips to rails, they’re one of my favorites, and the EPMs are unmatched.
But with the premise of the video being stock airsoft guns like you mentioned, I pretty much agree. The brands I mentioned, KWA, TM and PTS, right now out of the box aren’t the best. But looking at brand overall I think they’re S tier
Just got my first one which is the Specna Arms SA-H20. Solid gun out of the box.
I did get G&G ARP 556 for CQB too.
Great to see both guns as A tier.

Though I’m kind of surprised you put WE and KJ in B cause they seems like D to trash tier according to local Taiwanese airsoft players.
But everyone of us own a WE Glock at some point in our lifes.😂

Started with a lancer tactical gen 2 mk18, being new to airsoft, i don't really have anything else to compare it to. I can out run the trigger, but i'm assuming because of gearboxes and how AEG's operate, that may be fairly normal. otherwise, it does what i need it to do for the time being. Time will tell after i take it to some games whether or not its garbage or not. The rail could fit a little better, it wobbles (its a drop in not a free float). Besides it being polymer, i'm fairly happy with it for the price. It seems accurate and after adjusting the hop up i've gotten pretty decent range out of it.
I think they are as good as Cyma
I just started Airsoft and bout a gen 2 but the bbs some time come out the mag and stay in there and block it from shooting

Things are pretty good here! There’s nothing that’s fully closed anymore and our cases hover around 1-2% Airsoft is also open again which is great too!

the ca ecs2 skirmish lineup is good. im actually panling on getting an asg armalite ar15 and its a ca oem. only critism is why doesnt it have deans when it has a mosfet.
in my opinion VFC makes the best externals in airsoft, absolutely beautiful guns and tbh thats what i value the most. I have two KWAs however, a Km16BR and a KWA g36c that i transformed to a G36, and let me tell you, my hk417 350c gets blown out of the water by those 2 in every single category besides looks. Like that gun is so bad yet it is my favorite gun that i own just because its damn beautiful, i get a rush of dopamine every time i touch it or look at it, its something you gotta hold and see in person to understand. i also have an ICS sig 551, a million times better than my HK. I have a VFC scar H, guess what? absolute trash but man does it look amazing. In my opinion VFC is S tier, but they suck for performance.

I had a G&P XM177E2 with the I5 gearbox, it just broke last week after 6 years so it lasted for a hot minute lol
Fastforward to today, double eagle actually makes great guns in the $200 with the falcon optical etu. It dies burst and binary. They have utr's and m4's. Bith are good..
I have to say the elite force 1911 are solid for a gbb. The parts repair kits they sell with them as well are terrific.
The mags are so expensive tho 😂
They are good but they don't make their guns, and KJW is usually better and less proprietary

What was his fault in his approach?? It was straight to the point about the quality internaly and externally. Also included affordability and rarity on some of these companies. Please explain how this could have been better other than a physical in hand presentation of all the brands he focused on.

also classic army nemesis aegs are awesome guns... pricey but amazing. They give gou krytac/kwa level of performance easy. And their sportlines are just as good if not better than the combat machines by g&g
Tbh from the ones I’ve worked on I enjoy working on them much more than any Krytac or Kwa
Are inokatsu guns still in production?
ICS needs to be higher for their ease of upgrade. Being able to split the gearbox and instantly upgrade just about everything internally in a matter of minutes is easily the most unique thing in airsoft rn.
What software are u using for drag n drop graphics?

Not sure how widespread they are in the western market, but over here in the Philippines, E&C(Hong Kong based company), is pretty good in terms of value and quality. I've heard of them being called a VFC clone.
I've been researching E&C for a couple weeks now and the only real reviews are from Philippino airsofters, they love them and after a bunch of these reviews I finally bought a EC311.
What do you rank Arcturus? I’ve found them to be a good budget option, but they don’t hold up with higher quality offerings out there.

I bought 4 Matrix for loaners and I tore them apart as soon and I got them expecting problems. But amazingly they were actually built very well. All 4 were shimmed perfectly, AOE was set properly, not over greased, quick release springs for convenience, decent motors, solid bushings on the sector gear and ball bearings for the spur and bevel gears, snappy limit switch triggers instead of outdated brass contact style. Low resistance silver coated wires. Simulated bolt locks back when you pull on the charging handle to access hop up and snaps closed when you hit the bolt release for added realism. $119 each (they went on sale for $96 right after I bought mine lol. 1.2j with .25 bbs, accurate, perfect entry level guns.

My A&K M16 seems to perform a little too well out of the box, I had it chrono’d at a local field and they told me to use a different gun or leave because it was over 400 with .25s. The externals are great, full metal gearbox, but the pros stop there. It’s heavy, loud, and I had a hard time finding mags that didn’t wobble without the application of duck tape. Trigger pull is crisp but very long, and the semi-auto ROF leaves much to be desired (I never use full auto with a gun that shoots over 400 fps out of human decency). Hopefully American Milsim lets me use it, but I would not be surprised if they said get something different or leave.

I got a weak spot for JG. My 2nd aeg m4 ever. I broke my first aeg m4 when i was 13 due to negligence. My 2nd aeg m4 is the m4 s-system from JG (mw2 style). I had it for 3 years now and its still a hot shooter.

I love WE just because of their wide selection. They made a double barrel full auto Glock! Obviously not practical but extremely fun.
I also believe TM should be S tier as it is already reliable and have decent peformance AND many people upgrade their TM guns shows that TM is also customisable friendly and easier to buy parts.
In my opinion, I would switch classic army with ares and then switch g&g with cyma. Great tier list though, really hit the nail on the head.

I understand why you put JG in the f tier but I do think they deserve more credit. My gun broke and only shoots full auto but other than that, it’s beautiful gun, super quality and its rps and fps is immaculate. Just doesn’t last for me compared to what others are saying.

As one who have and still use lancer tactical and oddly love them. I agree with the D tier. Of I’m happy elite force is S tier it’s well deserved
People just love to hate on them for the sake of hating LT.
@@TheBBWarrior I had an LT gun that was broken out of the box, returned it, got an "new" one, broken out of the box again though this was an easy wiring issue. But for newer players, if this happens a lot, the rep they have is kind of their own fault. I hope their gen3's are gonna redeem them but. out of my own experience, and many others, they have quite some redeeming to do. I don't hate them tho, the one where I fixed the wiring issue does not shoot bad at all. Though I got an krytac afterwards. Enormous performance upgrade, though upgradability is an issue since it is an vector, I would take that one any day over the LT. Nonetheless I still bring it with me for an backup gun.
where would you rate EMG international?
It's hard to say because they source parts from a few brands, but some of those are in this list. The APS stuff from EMG is pretty bad, but they also use Cyma, Krytac and some other brands that I like. Personally I've stayed away from EMG because they tend to focus on externals rather than internals.
Oh goodness, an F... I Use an APS Boar Tactical ASR 119x. I am very happy with it so far as it is my best performing rifle. I even use it over my trusty Combat Machine. I am not defending the brand, only explaining my experience, which I admit is only a couple years worth. My rifle shoots lazers and has a magnificent feel in the hand due to the weight. I am sasquach thou so the heafty weight is welcome to me. As for quality questions, I am guessing this is a QA issue and I happened to get very lucky. I did a fair amount of research on the gearbox before I bought it as well and was having a hard time finding anything negitive about it. I will be weary of the brand going forward and let the rifle I have tell me how reliable they are before I turn to them again.
Any idea when these companies are going to restock? I haven't seen a single gun that isn't lancer or g&g (not that they are bad)
As someone who helps out a local store we cant even get parts like springs and shit in till like October covid is rough on shipping and manufacturing

I’d move a couple of those d tiers to c tier like the A&K but I feel the TM is S tier because of the quality build and attention to detail.

Agree with bumping a few up from D as well!
Problem is many TM don't survive use at 1.5j without many accessory or structure upgrades. They are designed for 1j use which doesn't need to be as beefy for a lifetime of use.
For use in Japan absolutely S 100% bit everywhere that has higher joule limits your basically buying an incomplete weapon and I can't call that S :/
I personally think TMs are overhyped and you are paying for the name attached and dont get why people do it. So this is not me attacking your opinion i have to ask why people care about TM
TM is definitely lots of name behind it. Lots of plastics with mediocre performance but at a premium price..

In my opinion king arms should be c or b because they have very reliable beigener guns.
