I'm noticing everyone's "solution" is to replace the actuator switch, which very well be the problem. HOWEVER, what worked for me turned out to be a very easy fix. Simply place a very thin piece of tape between the vertical striker switch. What's happening is that over time the striker switch becomes loose therefore not making full contact with the actuator button causing your unit to not power on. I posted a comment on a similar page that will go into a bit more detail on how to fix our air fryers before tossing it out. Just find David Giroux on here which is showing the same issue. I can get a 9x13 cake pan inside but not if it has handles (like glass pyrex). I applied tin foil to the solid cooking sheet that came with the air fryer to keep the clean up easier and to keep food from dripping onto the bottom heating elements. Cleaning isn't super easy but it is as is expected. I haven't used the rotisserie yet, so I can't speak to that. The air fryer function is great. I have noticed that the oven function runs about 25% hotter than the targeted temp that is input. The size is great for warming food up and small portions. For my daily use it works great.
My dude, this is the same issue I am having. I get an E1 blinking error. Where can I purchase a power switch? I am having the same issue with this Power XL air fryer . Can someone share a link please? Thank you in advance and God bless
@@angies5028 Thank you, I did find it but unfortunately it was not the part I needed. Ours seems to have burned without it being even on. So beware of leaving the plug plugged. Always unplug it when not in use!
@@inityo The switch isnt always the problem. My problem (and i realize it could be THE main problem), is the tiny "button" that is linked to the switch when you put the draw tray in. I put a piece of tissue in that small spot and it worked without a new switch. I would say try that before buying a new switch. No need to open the base.

My PowerXL air fryer doesn't have power on the control panel. I change the door switch but still don't work.
