Thanks for the video! I have to do an intercooler replacement on my mk6 jetta tdi after a turbo failure. I shed a tear when you lubricated an oring with brake clean 😢
It has a vacuum-operated flap inside the intercooler that blocks off most of the intercooler if the intake air temperatures get too low, preventing ice buildup in colder temperatures by decreasing the efficiency and increasing intake air temperatures.

I've got a 2013 jetta sportwagen tdi 2.0l, can the intercooler come out from the rear as I am replacing the radiator also?
Does this require any programing to the ECM? Looking to purchase this kit for my 2014 jetta tdi

So how does this work exactly? Pulling vac but how does it dry the intercooler air. And won't it get oil in the valves and such?
