Love the flatbed you put it on exactly like I would have except I would have put a strip on rubber Bert weed bed and frame to prevent squeaking in future. You can go to local quarry and get a length of used conveyor belt and cut 3inches wide and place between bed and frame and it will prevent squeakers and you can also use unbolts to attach to frame as well as this will strengthen frame and make it rigid .
Ingenious work and ideas you've come up with...very practical for the everyday user. Can I ask what is the flip-up passenger jump seat out of? I'd really like to have that setup in my old truck.
Just curious where your located and how you ended up with that truck. That was my old mechanics truck. Glad to see its still around and running. Not the prettiest thing but that sure was reliable back in the day and always started on the coldest day without being plugged in. I see you ended up with most of all the new parts on the seat that went with it when i sold it from the other video when you first got the truck. I had to take a double take on the other video and i said thats my old truck! Good luck with it and i hope it does well for you like it did for me
You better wire in a switch to disconnect that inverter when you aren't running the truck. Those things draw power all the time and will kill your truck battery.
The oak strip or so you can fasten bed to frame and bed not slipping on bare metal . A better way is put a1/4 inch thick strip the entire length of frame in between bed and frame, no squeaked and will outlast oak 10 to 1 and will lower the bed a little.
Can I ask why not get an air compressor that goes on a 7.3 international from one with air brakes? A wrecker yard would be pretty cheap. Sweet truck, I just feel the compressor is super slow, (I had one for a short time). And would benefit from then factory compressor
i dont disagree, however there is a fair bit more work to put one on a truck, lines, mounting, tanks, etc, and for what i need air for this seemed like the most reasonable way to go

Thats a good idea, i actually have a few rolls of conveyor belt around too
Nice truck thanks for sharing.

Very good.
@@99Projects If he wasn;t being sarcastic then he is as dumb as you are. Way to put that out there for the kids....class act.

That’s cool man, it was a great truck. I ended up selling it but it was a good truck while I had it
@@99Projects do you know where it ended up after you got rid of it?
@@TroyWitter I sold it to a guy who wanted to haul a boat with it out in Buffalo
@@99Projects nice. Thank you, and keep up with the awesome videos

I've seen a lot of trucks that have an oak board between the frame & the body. Not sure why but would this be beneficial? What is the gvwr?
maybe to help absorb some shock so its not metal on metal? GVWR is 21k ish

Those Chinese grade 3 bolts will break just when you least want it.
I just picked up 4900. Where do I get those stats from? I wanna put those on my truck
The stacks were on the truck when I got it. Chrome stacks are pretty pricey
The girls are going to like that compressed under the seat. 🎉🥵

Also, love the truck, would love to find a single axle day cab with a 10 speed an m11 Cummins to pull my 38ft goose with
