Genius level problem solving ,and brilliant use of old parts ,coupled with top notch fabrication skills. You are an absolute champion, the world needs more people like you !!
Nothing like a "Well Remembered" trip down memory lane, enjoyed it then enjoyed it again, beautifully built and hands down one of your premium projects, thanks for the (re) ride Donn !!
I have seen a lot of people make a lot of stuff, and I have made a lot of stuff myself. The breadth of fabrication and mechanical understanding and skill, and level of ingenuity you have is quite remarkable. I have a lot of respect for you! Fantastic work!
I watched this build from the start and liked all the info and your workmanship. I built a mill in 1995 that cost me $1500; that cuts a 36 inch x 22 foot log. I did buy 25 inch sheaves for band wheels, and uses a 16 Hp Kohler engine. I did have most of 1.5 and 2 inch box tube given me that saved me a lot of money. Will be waiting for your new mill build.
Awesome build. I've used round tube instead of square receiver for the outrigger mount on my pickup truck crane. Then you can pull the pin and swivel without having to remove it. Great video
Always a joy to watch you work !! The fabrication skills and lathe skills are amazing ....everything is amazing !! What a saw mill !! WOW !! Great build as always !! 👍👍
Impressive! Love how you reuse parts from all sorts of things, and have a great eye to see what those old parts can be used for. It’s very creative and super useful. Oh, and to fit all that in a 20 minute video… nicely done!
Here you go again, probably bring out the you shouldn’t do this and that folks. That’s okay cause we know you did not burn anything down. Glad to see this version too but I would suggest to all to view the complete build. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing with us, Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻✋🏻✋🏻
You are a wonderful mechanic! The design of the sawmill is very common, but you have special features - water for cooling the cutting blade and an original clutch mechanism for the belt drive. Great details, high class. It's very nice to look at your work! Good health and good luck to you!
For a one-part build, this may be among my favorites so far. Much better than a number of other RUclipsr's home built mills. Not as big as Matt Cremona and April Wilkerson's mills though :)
Brilliant! I wish you could make one for me too. I have a 40 inch diameter Sugar Pine that I just felled that’s making me wish I had kept one of my sawmills.
I tip my hat to you 🎩. You and others like you are the true engineers of the world. Continue utilizing every brain cell you have to design and manifest all the great ideas in your mind. Excellent creative work. 👍🏼
Hi Donn, WOW ! You blow me away. Seems to be working better than my 70K dollar sawmill. You're absolutely brilliant. To see a young man with your skills is so refreshing, we're in good hands. Thanks for the video, and keep being A W E S O M E ! ! !
Hello .. Once again excellent craftsmanship, I am amazed where you get all these ideas from. I also see no construction drawings, everything just from scratch. With these two sawing machines you can start your own sawmill company. Greetings
When I saw the title, I thought you were saying you built the sawmill in 20 minutes! Nice piece of work and very entertaining. The timbers you got out of it was pretty special too.
Nice to see your first Start to Finish video. I regret a little I didn't buy that from you 😀. One nice and useful project to remember and I'm waiting for your Swing-bade sawmill building series. Cheers mate! 🍻
I knew it was a lie...It took me like 25 minutes to build the exact same thing...Pfft, what a jip!...:)...Awesome build! You're a great fabricator/welder/ mechanic...Good health and freedom to you and yours.
Un plaisir de revoir la construction du moulin et de la construction de la remorque. Impatient de découvrir le nouveau projet. Jamais déçu de toutes ces constructions, menées à bien, que j'ai pu suivre.
Nice job, I watched bits a pieces of the build but now saw the whole thing in 20 minutes. So cool how you even machined the pulleys. Starting to get cold here at night in Minnesota, won’t be long and we’ll be firing up the outdoor boiler.

hey now all you need is to make a jointer to joint the wood sections so its smooth and not rough and get slivers in your hands or other body sections
Thanks
What kind of education did you go through ? I really enjoy your videos.👌👌👌

Hi Bart, happy to see you here! Take care and stay healthy and greetings to Tulsa.
That was slicker than two Estonian eels in a bucket of elbow grease! Nice job!
And I ask myself everytime: Where the hell do you get all the idea's for this practical solutions 💪.

Like always good hard work, and on times when price of wood are so big you have your own saw mill
Great memories! That is the project where I found your channel!!
Awesome build. I've used round tube instead of square receiver for the outrigger mount on my pickup truck crane. Then you can pull the pin and swivel without having to remove it. Great video
A true joy to watch a craftsman in action. Your skills and abilities are an encouragement for others to try.

Nice rig! Reminds me of why I hate living in town now... Lol!
Its called hard work and willing to do it, and it helps if you wasn't raised in the city. Good job young man

Good idea to make a short version of this👍🏻 Thanks!
This way better built than anything you can buy on the market right now
Мы с помощью тик-ток смогли заработать большие деньги! Спросите как!? Мы просто удалили эту программу и начали работать сварщиками😁
😂😂😂👍
You're so professional and I hope I could do it but it's not easy... love this job 👍👌
Yes! An easy build tutorial using hardware, parts and tools I already have.

A worn out Woodmizer would cost $10-15k and probably wouldn't cut as straight. A lot of work went into that. Very well done.
Круто , руки золотые , не идеально но для себя самое то .
Amazing work. Great job
Красавчик! Золотые руки у тебя!
Dude, this is some borderline genius stuff here! Wow
Thank you!🙏😀

This is better built and safer than a sawmill I once worked in. I have the scars to prove it.
Great craftsmanship! Enjoyed the video. My 8 Year old son just wants a ride on the quad in the snow 🤣🤣
When I saw the title, I thought you were saying you built the sawmill in 20 minutes! Nice piece of work and very entertaining. The timbers you got out of it was pretty special too.

Maybe you'll get to like the swing-blade sawmill so much you'll be happy you didn't buy the band sawmill. 😁
@@DonnDIY I afraid that too 😁
@@AFHProjects how much price is this
it was lovely to watch, you have so many skills....thank you
Donn, I just saw an idea I’m going to steal from you for how to engage the blades on my homemade bush hog! Thanks!
No worries! And I saw this solution somewhere else and used it.👍
I love your builds, you make them all look so easy. Now, I need one LOL Great video, cheers :)
Add an automobile tension pulley on the belt drive.

Слов нет парень молоток хочу поехать к нему в гости
Awesome build man. Love to see craftsmen take drawings right out of there brains.
Dude, you need your own show on Discovery Channel!
Love the dogging system. I need to make that for my sawmill so I can actually trust the log to stay where I want it. :)
Already snowing out your way, I see. Good luck with the long winter, Donn.
You are brave, you are doing fire work among firewood. But the end result is very good.
SKILLED TRADESMAN, VERY NICE WORK!
This is so cool, man. Well done. Thanks for sharing it
Thanks for watching!👍
WTF i think your ideas never ends ... great job
Amazing skill and creativity
Nice job, I watched bits a pieces of the build but now saw the whole thing in 20 minutes. So cool how you even machined the pulleys. Starting to get cold here at night in Minnesota, won’t be long and we’ll be firing up the outdoor boiler.
Very well thought out and very well documented. This will be the basis for my build should I choose to do so. Great job! Subscribed.
Nice build, this is definitely a good design and will be usefull all along your life !
That’s an impressive build. Well done.
Damn if whatever you touch doesn't turn into a thing of beauty!
If this guy ever stops uploading without a word it’s because he caught that room on fire
