I'm good at sleeping enough usually.but need to work on more exercise and eating more healthily.

I love the idea of making a commitment to start incorporating more self care. I meditate daily and have started going on walks without my phone to clear my mind. :)

There is a great deal to think about with self care! I never think about what areas I'm good at and now I am thinking. Good point about when people are calling you selfish that it really means you are not doing what they want you to do.Great video!

I care for my 33 year old son who had a hemorrhagic stroke weeks after heart transplant. I also am brain injured and trying to fight depression and possible early on set dimension. Listening to you and finding out it might be deep depression mimicking early on set depression

Yes, people really get hung up on the "selfish" label, and it can make it hard to see things clearly.

It is not , because it happens all the time in dysfunctional families . Do yourself that which you can't trust with anyone else to do for you.

Yes soo much you are saying resonates!! THE ANXIETY I FEEL AROUND EATING RIGHT, EXERCISING, LOSING WEIGHT AND ULTIMATELY FEELING BETTER IS UNBEARABLE AT TIMES, so I am determined to implement something and stick to it. Thanks again. Very impactful video‼️

Hi Regina: Thanks so much for letting me know this was helpful to you! It means a lot to me! Once we identify anxiety as being at the bottom of it, we can begin to treat the anxiety instead of the "problem" the anxiety is pointing to. Does that make sense?

Barbara Heffernan You’re very welcome and yes it does make sense...I just think for so long, that’s the piece I’ve been missing😊
