The biggest Problem is that the gear that drops is so low in Ilvl that people think they have to do higher M+ than they would normally do in week one of a Season. I think Delve gear is ok, I like the mode and its good that Solo Players or players that dont want timers also have something to do. But M+ gear seems like a joke compared to how hard the dungeons are.
They need to bring back the system we had in Legion, for M+ simply the best in terms of predicting what item ever was going to drop. You would have an item increase for each level of key starting low capping out the 10 later increased to 15, I don’t know when they changed it, but it was kind of bad to remove that. Also, why not Just add different set items to dungeons? Like in the burning Crusade we had many many sets dropping in dungeons and it was cool , some were better than others but at least having them was so amazing. Legion had the same thing in Arcway and court of stars for example!
@@Slashrestobecause they changed the whole scaling. The problem isn’t dungeons, it’s players misunderstanding scaling. A 7 is equivalent to 17’s from before. In legion you didn’t get gear that high at all, you had to pray for titanforges.
@@ConiugatioPeriphrast Nah you could target farm gear in Legion , i played it on Pservers like a few months ago im quite familiar with the scaling of gear. Gear at +15 was scaling to (during 2nd tier) 885 base and 895 Titanforged while HC raid gear was 885 base 905 HC Titanforged and Mythic base 900 . So as u can see base Mythic + max Ilvl was the same as HC raid equivalent which means a 10 in TWW would be 619 base if u use the same scaling as u had in Legion and a M+5 should be 606 i belive. Where instead i think its currently 606 on +6-9 i think and 9/10 gives 610? (can say ive not done 9s/10s yet myself). Stonespeaker overlap with the anvil in the middle then exploding for the lava wave while ticking dmg is going out specifically is a weird mechanic, and will get WAY worse when the affix is the one where the orbs come in and have to be soaked.

Another option that should probably also happen anyway is make them root and not stun. That way if you do get grabbed you can pop a defensive or use one of fifty ways to break out. Also opens up more options for people being able to clear the room besides like DK and traditional immunes.

Huge problem on end boss of Seige is the Affix this week. They need to change it so that the orbs only can come from behind us. Having them spawn in the water, and having to dip into that shit while doing the fight to eat them is absolute garbage!

Terrible... these dungeons are just terrible. Yea overtuned aswell and its good to see them adjust numbers. But they are also so overloaded with mechanics. Im not a super high key pusher. Just did my ksm and some 8s. but these dungeons are not fun, every dungeon feels like you only play the dungeon and mechanics. I cant enjoy my class because im constantly forced to do shit i dont wanna do. Worst season in m+ that i personally played. Not enjoying it one bit after week 1
I think more than overtuned, there's the overlapping of mechanics he talks about in the video. It feels fucking terrible to just get one shot from mechanics overlap, you sit there like "ok now what." If it wasn't m+, like no timer or penalty for dying, sure, overlap mechanics who cares, just wipe and go again, but you can't do this shit in m+.... it's a horrible experience.
Skarmorax also needs the crystals to just spawn in fixed spots of the arena. They seem to be like pseudo baited ir something, but sometimes you just get 2 on top of each other under the boss and it's like "well guess we're just dead" since some classes straight up can't avoid cleaving.
This is the only issue I have with this boss, yes. Having those crystals stacked up is a huge issue. Most classes automatically cleave, some can just not cleave but communicate that to random pug players in the middle of a fight. If that happens, I just peave tf out on my guardian druid because it's almost impossible to not cleave, lol.
Tbh I feel like most of these changes are a step in the right direction but only a small one. I still am not a fan of Blizzard’s decision to make mistakes more punishing in m+ this season through not only the death affix but also just the fact that most of the bosses this season feel loaded with one shot mechanics and overlaps. I also think changing the way vault loot works to require 10s is a negative change. Though it is very possible that these are just complaints I have from playing with early season gear and once I’m better geared the dungeons will feel less one shotty.
I had a pug group last night in NW that dealt with the affix beautifully yet were clueless on the bosses and it was frustrating. I’ve never had as large a disparity until then and I think it has to do with using old dungeons.
since 2 expensions blizzard has completly 100% lost the way on making good dungeons, overloaded af, way too many kicks, waaay too hard for most ppl, i mean if blizzard wants only dorki and yoda do m+, keep going, but the rest of the playerbase falls short. i cant even remember the last time since BFA or SL when spamming dungeons were fun, no they are just like work, exhausting, pug killers. also the changes that you need +9 for crests and +10 for weekly is the single worst idea blizzard has ever had. im a die hard m+ player but i really dont like it anymore, DF was Bad, TWW is a nightmare. The Designers of these Dungeons for 100% never did and never will play their own shit game.
It's because of the season 1 raiders. The ones that come in for the expansion launch, grind a bunch of gear, ruin a bunch of raids and keys, and then quit after two months. Maybe pop back in for a month every new season, but they're too far behind in gear and previous season rio to do any real damage to pugging like they are currently. It'll pass like it always does
A spelll doing 100 damage would instead do between 80 and 100 damage with X% variance. This makes it unpredictable to play around and learn because one time you lived the mechanic popping a defensive CD, and another time you dont. Or conversely one time you live the mechanic without a defensive CD and another time you dont. Its basically inconsistency and RNG making it more difficult for people to learn what should otherwise be expectedly consistent.
having a healer's perspective really added a lot of value to your vid :) why don't we say nice tetties when someone drops a second upload and it's top in the feed? i haven't felt the need to push m+ because the rewards for doing so are not very good relatively. I can get vastly better gear from doing a couple of fairly easy delves (as a healer!) in less than a quarter of the time
@@nickv3085 you right i dont have a group which is why i stated that the time investment is way less. even your 10 is taking longer than a t7 delve i bet. but you right i stink
I feel like the dungeon squish is interacting badly with the expansion launch, having lower than normal gear on top of the low key levels being relatively hard makes it pretty nasty. The dungeons are hard, the key levels are hard compared to other content, and gear is bad for anyone who hasn’t min-maxed pretty hard.
