thanx for the info you can always learn from the pros I don't do atlatls but I do make arrows from time to time and the info on rolling in between to hard surface's man that's good teaching ima run with that
David's Passage Dave long willow shoots do well, you can also use straight grained woods and split them to work them down. Hit me up on FB later we can talk about it
David's Passage Find a place where trees like balsam fir are being crowded out. They'll grow thin and straight, and have good tapers which makes tuning them relatively easy. Fir has a decent density but isn't as heavy as a hardwood shaft... which is good.
It was a good tournament Tito I shot an 80X in my ISAC, a 199XXXXX in the local, European round was tough and a couple of other targets as well a good show for sure
I was just thinking a hand held gun trigger pull measuring scale would work to on checking the flexibility of the shaft. The trigger pull scale is small and light like the scale you have.
Gary was my gym teacher when I was in elementary school. He's the real deal.
that he is

More to follow
Love it! By any chance do you know of other materials darts can be made of? I live in Michigan and don't have much cane in my area.

Thnks for the input .
Why do you put your foreshaft in the fat part of the dart ?
Maybe i seen it wrong.
Virginia Beach, i live like an hour away! Is there good wood there?
Maybe I don't live there
Another tourney this weekend may film some of it
I'm pretty sure it is too

Simple physics and design the Dart would topple end over end elsewise
Lol sure thing Bobby you need to send some measurements bro!
Looks like a fish weight scale.
Rosewood foreshaft
