      Jamie Pleasant I concur, ol' chap! I reason that it was merely a damnable internet troll out for a jolly chortle as cheap as his dollymop of a mother.

      Itd be nice if there was " functional" advice on how to use the Atlatl. I throw and flick my wrist and this piece of crap bounces off the target lmfao.

    Awesome. Atlatls are my favorite ancient weapon right next to the bow.

    Nick all my respect to you all I did with my ataltal cut a notch in the ataltal half way all the way round then get a three foot piece of cord put a knot in one end then trap the knot I know that your method is beautiful but in survival mode the simplest way is best all my love to your family daz

    Instead of a spur at the end, maybe a cup, like an egg cup shape would enable quicker alignment and a much faster rate of fire? Also I have seen atlatls with a support for the dart just above the hand, again allowing a faster rate of fire. Can the atlatl be used with normal bow arrows?

    • @jacobwhite8204
      @jacobwhite8204 3 года назад +2

      The groove that he adds helps with rate of fire there are historic atlatls that have a cup instead of spur and a groove and cup could probably have a high rate of fire and yes you can use arrows with an atlatl but it doesn’t work well atlatls are best for projectiles far longer and heavier than pretty much all arrows. Most atlatl darts are 6 foot plus some even nine foot

      so far all this thing and his darts do is bounce off the target when I "throw" and flick with wrist.
