Congrats man! Glad I can help. I don't receive any type of payments for my reviews. They are my observations after spending time with a purchase. Thanks for the tuning in and the support
It just a little tiny problem!!!!lg soundbars are more expensive then Samsung...and S95TR have more less speakers then q990c...altough i have an lg oled my choose is Samsung
I’m looking to buy a G4 and could get the US95TR half price in an LG promotion, but I’m still thinking that I should go for the Samsung HW 990D soundbar instead.
That's tough. I would try both if you've never heard them. The q990d is the better overall. But the LG G4 can offer wow orchestral for movies, when connected to the s95tr. If you want a soundbar that can do it ALL, and is balanced... then the q990d is the better offering.
Thanks for info. My plight is this: I just bought this thing! And now I'm reading all these mediocre reviews on it. I haven't opened the box, so I might be headed back to Best Buy to return it. Okay my last question is this: What system should I be looking at instead? What's better; the Samsung? My budget is up around $1500. THANKS!
@@davidkeller5664 samsung q990c or d. Another option i would wait for is the upcoming sonos arc 2. Bravia theater quad is another option worth checking out. If you are mainly only watching movies on a newer lg tv, the wow orchestra feature is still good with the s95tr. There are just more versatile soundbars out there. Hope this helps
Thx for the professional detailed video. Is it possible to add two more speaker in the front and to be synced just like the two in the back ? I have the S95TR but I am missing the old setup where I had a Speaker in every corner :)

Does it buzz/hiss like the last few flagship bars? They work great with my LG TVs though but can’t stand the hiss.
@therokaphella, a quick question, when you connect the Samsung hwq990 to a LG tv via hdmi arc, does it auto switch the audio output to the samsung soundbar instead of the tv speakers when you turn on the TV?
When i first connected the Samsung soundbar with my LG TV I had to go into the tv's sound mode in the settings and toggle it to Hdmi Arc. After that, everytime I turn on my TV the soundbar turns on as well and my LG tv remote controls the volume
please help me set Q990C in the phone application whether to enable voice and bass enhancement settings. Should I also turn on the active voice amplifier?
@@TheRokaphella is the lack of led display on TR a major hindrance? Also they seemed to have turned the upfiring center channel on soundbar a bit more angled towards listener rather than straight up 90 degree
@@DeccaniThe lack of an LED display is just ridiculous. Even my old Sony Soundbar has a display to let you know what mode it’s on and what connection it’s using. You can also turn the display off if you find it distracting while watching a movie.
